Location, comfy bed, breakfast.
Room was ultra small - wasn't clear when we booked how small it was.

We found the hotel to have high-quality and good service throughout. The ensuite bathroom of our room was large and had both a roll-top bath and separate shower. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was particularly good. We needed gluten-free options. There was a good choice of Schar GF cereals and the toast with the cooked breakfast was one of the fancy GF breads.
It's in a great location on the seafront in Sidmouth.
There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The only minor hiccup was that our room's key-card stopped working and we had to go back to reception to get a new one - it can happen anywhere.
