Great location right in the centre of the village and a very friendly welcome. The hosts also organised a driver who collected our luggage from the hotel four days later, picked us up in Ushguli after the Mestia–Ushguli hike and drove us to Kutaisi. Everything worked perfectly. The room was very basic but clean and had a private bathroom.
Although everything was clean, the room still felt a little worn and slightly shabby, which is perhaps part of the charm of staying in this remote area. The mattress seemed quite worn out, and the breakfast was extremely basic and could easily be skipped.
