We are located at the entrance of Sequoia National Park. We are pleased to offer our two private, new riverfront suites. If you want the one of the best riverfront experiences, this is it with a series of private waterfalls and pools on the Main Fork of the Kaweah River. Hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy all that nature has to offer in an exclusive riverfront suite. There are two separate suites to choose from and they are immaculate. Each has unique decor and includes special amenities such as fresh fruit,gourmet coffee,organic toiletries,and much more. Spend the evening gazing at the star studded sky on your private patio overlooking the Kaweah River. This is truly a glorious spot with the sounds of the river as background music for your stay. We strive to make your stay a relaxing, secluded, elegant experience. The private suites boast a large double headed shower for two( Kaweah Gem), luxurious cal king bed, kitchenette, BBQ, games, small library, satellite TV and music. Enjoy one of the best and most private swimming spots in the area. Historians know this spot as 'Livingston's swimming hole'. Step out your door to a private river paradise that includes a waterfall and 'the lagoon'. For your enjoyment are lounge chairs and a hammock on the bank of the river as well as an outdoor BBQ and fire pit. Relax as the sounds and sights of nature surround you. We also provide bicycles for your use. Hiking, river rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding and boating are among the activities that are available close by. The newly appointed ANNEX SUiTE by Sequoia Park is amazing. Conveniently located off of Sierra Drive, ANNEX SUITE at the top of our six acre driveway and is connected to a stand alone garage. The luxurious interior of the 700 sq. ft. suite has 9 ft. high ceilings, granite countertops, stained concrete flooring, a huge wall mounted television, seating area , kitchenette, Cal King size bed and large glass enclosed shower with body sprays. This suite was perfect for my husband and myself! The property was beautiful and right on the river. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the Sequoia National Park. I couldn't imagine a more peaceful setting, I highly recommend!

Magical is the only way to describe this spot! We rented because of it's proximity to Sequoia Nat'l Park but I would have been just as happy staying at the property all day. Every detail from the quality linens to the top notch appliances in the outdoor kitchen to the thoughtfully placed hammock by the river made this one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed.

The wife is big on going through vrbo, myself give me a clean hotel and less expensive and I’m good. We have went through vrbo for years. That being said for the first time I was totally impressed with vrbo and this place. If all vrbo were this nice and in such a great location I would feel like money well spent. I’ve been telling all my friends about this place since we came home and even while we were still there I started talking to the wife about booking this location again for this coming spring. As far as the owners/managers they were outstanding never in your business but right there for you if ever needed. Location for sequoia park was great only about 5 or 6 miles away. Not a big city but you can get what you need, limited restaurants but the food was very good at the ones we chose to eat at. Keep in mind I am the penny pincher in my family so the question is would I spend the money to stay here again? The answer is yes without any hesitation . For once I felt like it was money well spent. This is the first time I can give a vrbo a five star plus.

Peaceful Oasis
My husband and I stayed at the Keweah Gem for our trip to Sequoia. We would highly recommend it. The room was clean, peaceful and beautiful. The grounds were enjoyable to walk around by the river but watch out for the slippery rocks. The river ate my phone within a half hour of arrival. Of course that was completely my fault.
The sheets were so soft and inviting after a day of driving. We melted off to sleep.
Communication with the owner was quick via text when needed.
We would highly recommend a stay.

Amazing, just the perfect getaway. Hosts were accommodating, useful, and excellent. Communication was stellar. 10/10 will be back again! Very dark, had difficulty finding the house at night, would recommend maybe a reflective arrow on a tree?

We so enjoyed our stay at the Kaweah Gem! Upon our arrival we were welcomed by Larry and Diana’s most precious dog, Colt. He paid us regular visits during our stay which was the highlight of the trip for me as he is so smart and polite and a delight to have around. The suite is beautifully decorated with attention to ALL the details. It was so peaceful that I felt like we were staying the night at a spa. Right on the river, you can sit outside and enjoy the sights and sounds or you can open the window and let the river sounds lull you to sleep at night (or maybe even for an afternoon nap!) The king-size bed is comfy and outfitted with super soft sheets and just-the-right-weight comforter to guarantee a wonderful night’s sleep. The mini kitchen has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and yummy snacks! The large bathroom with the super-sized shower was wonderful with lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The property is beautiful with several seating areas right on the river and a trail to the water where you can walk out on the large boulders. Ask Colt to take you for a tour, he’ll be happy to oblige! We wished we could have stayed longer and would stay here again if back in the area!

The surroundings were beautiful. Wildflowers everywhere. A very kid friendly property, which I love. The outdoor kitchen was incredibly well stocked. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was very very inconsistent. Of four showers, one was good, two were very low and one was just a trickle of water came out so we had to grab a washcloth for a sponge bath.

Diana called us to make sure we wanted to continue with our plans beacuse there was a lot of smog becuase of the fires around the area; she was nice enough to offer us options if we decided not to.
It was a little tricky to find the place but only because we lost connection.
The place is amazing, really clean and organized. The sound of the river helps you relax specially during night time with a nice beer or a glass of wine, good companion makes it a petfect place either with friends like I did or with your special someone.
I definitely will come back in a near future.

Magical peaceful getaway
It's hard to know where to begin. Although the pictures are accurate I was speechless when we arrived because it exceeded my expectations. Seeing the beauty of the property in person takes it to whole other level. This is super romantic. Forget a crowded beach for a honeymoon, this spot would give you the romance and privacy! I will say there were 2 other units being occupied while we were there. Never impeded on our stay whatsoever. I believe you can rent the entire property if you wanted. Its I think 3 acres or more. There is a shared outdoor kitchen area that is pretty cool. However, if your like me and really just want to not socialize with people you don't know, you don't have to. You still have your own beautiful patio area with your own grill and indoor kitchenette. There are several areas to sit and watch and listen to the river going by while watching the hummingbirds. Music to my ears! Good for the soul. But, we went the end of July, don't just sit and watch! The river here is literally you backyard! We had a magical time exploring the river area. Many places to get in and play, as well as a sandy area for chairs to sit in the river and enjoy the cool water and surrounding nature. Words really can't describe the beauty. This property is only 15 minutes to the entrance of the Sequoia Park. It is right up the road! We stayed 2 nights at this property and went to Sequoia twice. That's how convenient this location is. Let's talk about the inside of this property. For 2 people it couldn't be more perfect! Actually even with 2 adults and 2 young kids this would be more than adequate because there is a pull out sofa and the size would be adequate if necessary. You would all be in the same room, but would be comfortable. But for 2 people this was amazing. Super clean and this property happened to provide little extras that just made it even more special. The bedding and furnishings are high quality. I appreciated that. The kitchenette was perfect for our small amount of groceries. We never cooked but had lunchmeat and made sandwiches. The restroom is stunning! Wow! So clean, so modern. Two showerheads and giant area! The property owner was super nice, and there was a bonus guest from time to time. The owners have a super sweet dog who came to visit a couple times! The only thing I could critique negatively would be directions to the property threw us off a little. But I can't make reservations to get back to this gem fast enough!!!

Private Oasis
From the moment we stepped onto the property we knew we were in for a special treat! From the smiling carved wood bear greeting us at the front door, to the relaxing music playing accompanied by the sound of the river, to the perfect view of the river; from well maintained walk-ways and sitting areas, to the beautiful landscaping; from the well-stocked bathroom and kitchen, with impecable eye for detail the owners have done a excellent job of having their guests feel not only welcomed but pampered in such a caring way! Only negative is we didn't stay long enough! We will DEFINITELY be coming back!! Thank you Larry, Diana and Colt for taking such great care of us!
