About this house rental
Located in Hyannis, this charming house for $929 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Come and enjoy our quaint Cape Cod home with great views, beaches, dining and shopping - all within walking distance. Our home overlooks Lewis Bay, where you can enjoy watching the ferries heading out to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, colorful sailboats, windsurfers, and a variety of birds all from the back deck while grilling, sunning or playing yard games; or enjoy the views from a comfy chair inside the living room in front of large picture windows. The location is second to none. Our quintessential Cape house abuts a marsh and is located in a quiet residential area that is surrounded by beaches, restaurants and shops just up the road - all within walking distance. Choose your beach. .5 miles to Kalmus Beach, which is the public area beach. Keyes Memorial Beach and Veterans Park Beach are two other public beaches both within walking distance, 1 mile and .2 miles respectively. We are approximately 3 miles from Craigville Beach, another popular public beach in the area. One mile up the road is Hyannis Harbor where you'll enjoy a variety of dining options, ice cream, entertainment and shopping. You can also catch a Ferry here to the Islands. (save the parking fee and walk). Main Street Hyannis is only one and a half miles away where you'll enjoy even more shopping, fine dining and entertainment for all ages. Newly renovated, this two-story home is1800 square feet and comfortably sleeps ten people. The home is air conditioned, with a gas grill, flat-screen TV, wireless Internet, outdoor shower, huge spacious back deck, large farm table, and a fully stocked kitchen with appliances and more. If you do decide to request a booking, please tell us a little bit about your party and the purpose for your stay. We work hard keeping our home beautiful for our guest and this only works by knowing a little bit about our guest. Please note: Peak season (June 29 - August 31) is a required 7-night minimum - with Saturday check-in, check-out. NOTE: You may see a break in the reviews between 2019 - 2023. During this time, we took the house off the rental market to update, renovate and enjoy some family time. We returned this fantastic little gem back to the rental market in 2023.

No need to turn the television on in this house. Enough waterfowl watching out the wall sized back windows to keep you entertained for hours. Great location, clean & comfortable... and a host that responds quickly to any questions.

This house just screams tranquility! It was so wonderful with everything we could’ve possibly needed in such a beautiful setting. The proximity to downtown Hyannis was so convenient! Also very close to the hospital which was great because we had a little emergency with my 6 year old and we felt so lucky to be so close. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean and well stocked with all the comforts of home, and the views of the salt marshes were great from the windows and private deck! The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Hyannis is a great location, centrally located on the Cape, so it was easy to get to all our favorite spots, from Provincetown at the tip, to Plymouth, MA in the west. The owners were wonderful and always responded quickly whenever we had a question. We would certainly recommend!

This house was absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean and the perfect layout/size for our mama’s weekend away! The description and pictures are completely accurate and the house is adorable. It is super close to the ferry and only a couple miles from downtown Hyannis. I would love to stay here again!

The house is in a great location. Walking distance to beach and downtown Hyannis. Well equipped kitchen and home make your stay comfortable. Everything labeled and easy to find. Back deck and views from house are perfect. Gas grill, gas firepit and area seating a plus. Indoor and outdoor games available to entertain you. Host quickly respond to any questions. Great vacation spot.

The home is perfectly situated with views of the ocean and the ferry’s on their way to the islands. An easy walk to the beach. And town is just a 3 minute drive to the most popular restaurants.
The house itself is very comfortable and easily accommodated our family. The beds were comfortable and the linens were very nice. There is a large back deck to enjoy the views. Everything was very clean and well prepared.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Hyannis. The location is perfect - just far enough away from everything to be peaceful - yet close enough to walk to the beach and a quick drive to shops & restaurants. The deck overlooking the salt marsh was my favorite part; it is so serene. The home was very well stocked with everything we could have wanted or needed. We have stayed at many different VRBOs and this one stands out as one of the best. We hope to be able to return next year. Thank you Sandy - you were a wonderful host!

Our family booked this lovely home for a last minute getaway and we appreciated everything about our stay. The views are peaceful and bright. The a/c works perfectly. The outdoor shower is a wonderful touch. Shed full of beach chairs and toys. The grill and all kitchen appliances are great, as are washer and dryer. Loved all the board games, esp the old school rotating Scrabble Board! There are local beaches in walking distance, and so many options a short drive away. Easy drive to Provincetown for a day trip, and Coast Guard beach for another. Thanks to Sandy and Mike for making our stay so nice!

We have been renting houses for over 20 years for a girls getaway. This is by far one of the nicest. We loved the view from the living room, dining room and deck. The beds were comfortable, the house roomy and equipped with everything you could need. It was beautifully decorated and we would definitely recommend for anyone going to Hyannis.

Overall our stay was great, but we had to call about where to take the garage. When it was time to check out, we were unsure about what to do.. Also, it would had been nice to know that the house was not handicapped accessible.
The location was ideal, therefore we would rent it again.

This is a well appointed, beautifully decorated house with lots of room & great location. We had a wonderful experience & really enjoyed the views of the marsh & wildlife with the ocean just beyond. Our teenage kids enjoyed the many board games - instead of playing on their phones. There were 6 of us with plenty of room. The hosts were extremely responsive to answer/resolve any questions & issues.

A perfect place to spend a long weekend or week, very clean, quiet and private, there were nine of us LADYS, and we all still had our private time if needed, The home is equipped with all you need, we all had a Fabulous Time, and want to do it again next year. Great location, 5min walk to private beach, 10min to Kalmus (public) beach. Landlord very responsive and nice. House has a lot of charm, kitchen is very well equipped. Aircon works well. Weber gas grill works great, too.

My family enjoyed this lovely house very much. The views of the swamp from the porch was very calming and beautiful. The Sun Room was incredibly inviting and relaxing. The spacing of the house was more than ample for my family of 4. The beach was so close and the town offered a great variety of artisan shops and restaurants.
The minor regrets were the bed sheets. They were so thin and flimsy. When I arrived at the house I found the bed sheets with some hair and lints. It could be because they were repeatedly washed In hot water (washer with hot water options only)
Overall, my family enjoyed the house very much and will definitely come back soon.

We had a great stay! The house was perfect - in a great location near the beach and close to main street, and was stocked with everything we needed for our trip. There is a beautiful view from the house and we loved relaxing on the back deck. Thanks for a great stay!

I would definitely recommend this home. Only negative comments: washing machine had only hot water and yard maintenance crew arrived at 7:45 am Saturday morning. But I would definitely stay here again. We had a great time.

This charming extended, older, cape has the perfect Hyannis location. It is very close to town, the marina (with ferry boat terminal to the islands), and two great beaches. On top of that, plan to relax at the house in the cozy living room with beautiful windows looking out to the marsh, ocean beyond, and the ferry boats passing back and forth to and from Martha's Vineyard.
A delightful new deck, off the kitchen area, invites more relaxation. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing the corn hole game outside and many of the good supply of board games the owners stock. As others have said the large kitchen is well supplied if you plan to cook.
The master bathroom, on one side of the house, does not have a shower so the two downstairs bedrooms share the hall bathroom shower/bath. Upstairs bedrooms have a full bathroom with shower. Plenty of linens and towels are supplied. There is good driveway parking on the property.
This is a nice family home. We enjoyed our stay.

this house was all that was advertised and very nice. Travelling on business I opted for this house versus a local hotel. I would stay there again and the location is excellent. Hurricane Jose kept the sun away for the entire 3 day stay but even with the cloud cover and the rain the view was still beautiful.
The only negative (and this isn't a criticism) is that there are no sports channels on the cable lineup.

My son was getting married and 7 of my family stayed here. The view from the back was magnificent. The place was more than big enough for everyone, it was close to everything but nice and quiet. We would like to go back when we had more time to enjoy the surroundings.

Our family of 6 loved spending a few nights on Folsom Ave. The house is beautifully furnished, everything worked a expected, lots of amenities, and great location to Main St., Hyannis, and the whole Cape. Sandy was a pleasure before, during and after out stay.

We enjoyed a lovely view from the patio, great for bird enthusiasts. Fully stocked with everything you need for the beach and walking distance. Great space for our family of 5, plenty of space to spread out.

We had a great week and the house was perfect. Great layout and location. a short walk to the private beach or a larger public beach. We watched July 4th fireworks from the wonderful deck on the back of the house. Well appointed kitchen allowed us to do family dinners every evening. Convenient access to the harbor and town for fishing boats or ferries to Martha's Vineyard and shopping. Sandy was very helpful and accommodating checking in by email a few times during the week.
Some feedback from adult children that the four twin beds upstairs were a bit soft and should likely be replaced.

Everything was just as wonderful as expected for our three-generation family vacation. The back porch is a relaxing bird-watching spot, the beach is a short walk away, and it's easy to get to the Nantucket ferries. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was great having a nice supply of games. Thank you!
