Beautiful Stream and wooden home

Loved the layout, it was very clean and rustic. Stream was beautiful noticed people kayaking down as well as ducks and swans. There was no bbq but clear instructions on how to work the electric stove top. Plenty of parking available.

I feel like there could've been more equipment in the kitchen for use within the home. No pepper but salt available.

Adequate for what we needed

Location was perfect Accommodation was great for what we required

Unfortunately this home needs a little TLC The curtains need rehanging The front step and step down to laundry were broken certainly had to watch your step especially in wet weather (as we had during our stay) Drainage in bathroom sink was slow Kitchen cupboard needed cleaning Floor in separate toilet will need repairing at some stage Light shades need cleaning We had to put batteries in the air conditioner control

It was clean enough and comfortable enough. It was not welcoming or "luxury lockwood" as described.

Clean linen and comfortable beds. Quiet location and pretty stream.

Kitchen needs a deep clean and extra items for guests. Couldnt tell if tea towels were clean, and the dishwashing stuff looked old and worn out. Travelling on Christmas day sucked already but to find the kitchen had little to offer for tea and coffee, plus an open jar of sugar, was weird. Milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and sugar would have been really welcome, and helped to deal with the spookiness a lockwood brings. Really lean into the homely vibe guys. Outside deck looks like it is becoming dangerous too. Couldnt let the kids play outside. Really flipping hot when we arrived, had to open every window and crank all the fans.

Absolutely devastated and disgusting.

The river at the back

Everything was dirty,old, smelly, cobwebs,over grown garden, rotten windows frames,busted laundry step which you had to step on for the lights,broken glass on drive,no proper heating,useless stove,t.v worked sometimes, dirty BBQ, broken dirty outdoor setting, no were to dry clothes, eaten fruit cup under bed,no proper cleaning equipment, lighting was unless,can't use billiard table, hard beds,smelly pillows, curtains coming off rails,smelly curtains,some dirty dishes, no fan in bathroom, dirty kitchen floor, mould on rails, dirt or dust on window ledges & furniture. Children to scared to go into the laundry because of rotten broken step & smell.

One guest had to find another place to stay as an allergy because of the uncleanliness of the house

Musty. Sticky table and floor. Old cooking utensils. Heaters in the room no good and could be a fire hazard. Water under floor in the down stairs pool room. Couldn't play pool.

Disappointing

The location was great for the kids and fishing and they enjoyed the pool table. It was a good amount of space for 4 adults and 4 older children. There were a few problems which the owner sorted promptly for us.

The property is extremely dated, with multiple broken items, such as curtains, beds, steps downstairs and into garage. Multiple broken items lying around in the garage, glass on the floor. I had asked the owner to ensure the house was clean and free of cobwebs before we arrived ( this was an issue for previous occupants) which they certainly got most of them inside, but the outside of the house is filthy and has masses of cobwebs etc. I would just like to say this property could be amazing but it just needs some time and money spending on it. It certainly is not a safe property for young children.

disappointing stay in Rotorua

great location near a lovely little stream.

the property was really unclean and many days rubbish were there when we arrived. it was removed, but only after we asked.

Very good

Loved the setting, loved the area, loved the comfort the home bought and loooooved the aircon

It was obvious no one had been there for a while as there were spider webs we had to break through on entering the home aswel as inside the home and windows, a few dead bugs here and there but to be expected when it's not a home that is being lived in. Beautiful place to spend a weekend would definately recommend

Luxury it is not.

Nothing.

This was an awful stay. We booked for a two day stay and left after 11 hours. Luxury it was NOT. There were cupboards hanging off, mould in the games room fridge, broken windows in the games room and curtains hanging off. Clean it was not. There were stains on the sofas. Cobwebs could be seen everywhere and towels were hard and smelly. Floor was sticky especially as you were told to remove footwear.
