A pleasant stay in Rotorua.

Mark was very helpful and accommodating. We wanted to stay an extra night, but the room we had was already booked. However, Mark kindly offered the use of the private apartment normally reserved for themselves, for as long as we wanted. Both apartments were clean, comfortable, and adequately equipped for 2 people. The property was easy to find and quiet and located only minutes from the lovely redwood forest containing miles of marked walking and cycling trails 👣 suitable for all levels of ability. I would recommend Eastside Apartments for a pleasant stay in Rotorua.

Would definitely stay again!

Mark was exceptionally accommodating, during our stay, he saw me struggling with my windscreen wiper and helped fix it. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the smart tv worked without a hitch, great when you have two toddlers! We would definitely come back to stay again.

Bright sunny unit with private off street parking and a big balcony.

Eastside Apartments is a converted home in a quiet street in a suburban area close to the Redwood Forest. It is only a 5 min drive to the centre of Rotorua. You would need your own transport to stay here. We had the studio apartment which consisted of one room (with a bed, 2 arm chairs, a small table & chairs), a well equipped gallery kitchenette and good size bathroom (with a bath). The shower was the best we have had in NZ! We also had a large balcony which was shared with the other apartment.

We had a slight hiccup with the heater, but I’m sure that would have been rectified by now. The room is not large (size is stated on booking page) We could hear the people staying in the other part of the house. It wasn’t a problem for us but we could hear them and no doubt, they could hear us. If you are planning to do the Redwood forest at night, avoid Saturday night!

It was small but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very friendly host and accommodating with arrival and departure times.

It was a bit cold, only one bed (main) had an electric blanket. There were no spare blankets for the other beds and the duvets on the beds were quite thin (not winter appropriate)

A comfortable, centrally located compact unit with all we needed for a short stay.

This was a really comfortable centrally located accommodation which had all we needed for a 3 day stay. The bed was particularly comfortable and the bathroom facilities were really good.

Parking space was a little tight.

You can arrive anytime.

It was a little bit confusing at the start to find the right apartment. There is number 1 at the front, and the other two at the back that you can not see them unless you walk to the back.

The room was spacious enough for two, clean and comfortable. There was an effective heat pump and filtered water. The bathroom was a good size and was clean. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy and Quiet

The bath was nice and shampoo and conditioner and body wash was a nice touch. Bed was comfy and the area was quiet. Sensor lights on the steps were helpful for night time returns. Fridge was a good size and plates and cutlery and microwave all great too. Off street parking also made life easy. Nice deck area and tidy garden.

It is a value for Money and comfy stay ! I should have booked two night instead of 1.

The bathroom is clean and good size, it also has an indoor plant inside. Bed sheet is white in colour, like a 5 star hotel. It is Value for money. It is a AirBNB stay, shared the house with the host. They even provide butter/Jam for your toast if you want.

FYI only Location is a bit off from CBD, but it is not an issue if you are driving.

Exceeded our expectations. We stayed at Apartment 2, and it was very spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers)

Not as it seems

The bed was comfortable and the room itself was warm. There were little marmites for toast and a milk in the fridge.

The unit is attached to another apartment. When you book for two people you get a one bedroom unit with a bathroom and some kitchen appliances (most of the pictures from the listing are from the other apartment). There's no sink in the kitchenette. The bathroom has a bath but it is tiny, I'm short and could not extend my legs fully. Our biggest issue was that the walls between the apartment and the unit are very thin and there was a very loud family next door. Waking up to parents shouting and children screaming at 6am is not my idea of a holiday. Would've been good to have the arrangement of the house made clear in the listing. We were quite disappointed in our stay.

Superb

We were 3 generations travelling together and, as a group of 5 ranging in ages from 12 to 70, we had space and comfort for all of us. The unit was well equipped and we were able to cook healthy meals and do laundry. We had a very comfortable stay.

Lovely space with lovely hosts.

The space has everything you need for a good nights rest. The hosts are great communicators and make sure the area is warm and inviting for your arrival. Lots of little touches to add comfort during your stay.
