The private spa was a hit with my family, the children loved it!
Owners have an adorable dog.
Oppies fish and chip shop and asian cuisine (nearby) have a delicious takeaway or dine in selection. Pictures of famous visitors on the wall include Jonah Lomu and Temuera Morrison :)
Two single beds in the lounge area were spongey and collapse when you sit on the edge (that was odd for mattresses).
Our ground floor unit 7 was in the far corner, under the stairs and the carpark assigned to our room was not big enough for our SUV car (regrettably we overlapped the adjacent car space to the room next door).
This motel charges late check out fee of $20 per 30mins. They also have a sign behind reception noting this, so that wasn't a positive first impression for the customer and felt more about revenue gathering which is a shame, we wanted to check out at 11am (instead of 10am) but didn't feel it was worth paying $40 extra for an hour.

Spa was beautiful! And the bonus visitor of the motels beautiful dog was right up there in making the stay!!
