For a hotel that's starting to feel dated, you could still feel that it was once a premium offering. Bed was comfortable and the pillows are good quality. Decor in room in room is pleasant and doesn't feel cheap or overly worn.
Either air conditioning or water pipes are quite loud where I stayed on the 5th floor. Particularly between 10-12pm and then again around 2am. Restaurant and bar staff were below average in my opinion. First night I ordered a medium rare ribeye and received a medium well done one at best. I let the staff know, and whilst they offered to cook another one, the feedback that it was only the edges of the steak that were over cooked when they came back from the kitchen didn't leave me wanting to try again. Tried their internal Japanese restaurant the next night, and similar experience with food. The skewered meats were overcooked, but edible and tasty, so significantly better than the night before.
