Located in Santa Cruz, this charming house for $365 per night is a great option for your next break. This beautiful 3 BD 2&1/2 BA house has so many attractions right outside the door, you may choose to park your car and not drive during your stay. Seabright beach ( the most beautiful beach in Santa Cruz) , Boardwalk, the yacht harbor, numerous restaurants, and a neighborhood museum are a leisurely 5-10 minute walk away. Within an easy 20 minute walk are the wharf with its restaurants, kayak rentals, shops, and more...and the downtown also with its numerous shops and restaurants plus movie theaters and music venues. Also, newly added is a hot/cold outdoor shower for rinsing off after you have walked back from Seabright beach.

Comfortable beds in the house. I slept great each night. It has a nice kitchen to cook in. There is also a grill outside with extra gas. A walk to the beach is an 1/8 of a mile down the street. You'll like your stay!

Great communication with the owner. One of my friends lost her ear pods and the cleaning crew found them and the owner mailed them to her. Very impressed with human kindness.

The house was very comfortable and centrally located. We were able to walk to the pier, boardwalk and the local restaurants. It was nice to have multiple TVs so everyone could watch their favorite programs at night. Thank you.

The house is very convenient to the Boardwalk and wharf as well as the beach. We walked everywhere. It was an easy drive down to the Monterey Aquarium, which was fun. It was easy to find from the freeway and had off street parking.

We wished we could have enjoyed the house more! It was a cold and rainy weekend and the house has several lovely outdoor patios/decks that we could not utilize. despite that, we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and dining area and the common living space. Large TV great for watching the Warriors game despite the loss. Having 2.5 bathrooms was also key for our group. We absolutely loved the place!

We loved our stay at this well-maintained vacation home in Santa Cruz. The house is lovely, and very comfortable. The bedrooms felt private, and the upstairs space was a great place to hang out. The check-in process was very easy and the property was clean, in good condition and thoughtfully prepared with many extra blankets, pillows, games, books, a fully stocked kitchen etc. We also appreciated that the WiFi was very fast and the location was excellent. We only regret that we could not stay longer.

The location is ideal for the beach, downtown Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk and numerous nearby hiking, redwood forests and quaint towns. We could walk to the beach and the Boardwalk within minutes. It is a quiet, residential area with well maintained homes and a safe atmosphere.

We love Seabright Beach so this house is a perfect location. Our favorite coffee shops, restaurants, walking routes and beach are close by. The property was as described in the listing. The 3 bedrooms were all good size and the kitchen has everything you need. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the 2 decks due to the weather. But it looks like the decks would be great additional space if weather permits. The Host was very easy to work with and very responsive to questions and needs. We hope to stay here again soon!

We had a lovely holiday weekend relaxing at this cozy house. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, the selection of games, and the comfy living room (with very large TV screen and lots of viewing options). It's a short walk to the boardwalk, pier (we could hear the barking sea lions from the house) and the next beach over, with its pretty light house..

What else can we say....we just love this house. It has an older vintage charm with bedrooms downstairs, an open living area upstairs, and plenty of room in the kitchen for the family to cook together. It's set in an ideal location for exploring the Santa Cruz area. We just walk out the front door and can end up at Steamer's Lane or far as Natural Bridges. Everything is conveniently located. It's an ideal home to get together with family and friends. We look forward to returning again!

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house and enjoyed meeting with the owners, who could not do enough to make our stay wonderful. Everything was in tip top shape, and the unit was well equipped throughout, including the bathrooms and kitchen. We had a plumbing event which was attended to immediately with complete and satisfactory repair ( New flapper in the toilet bowl). The location within a 2 block walk to the beach was fantastic. Access to roads to all of the sites was great. We would certain rent here again.

If you're looking for a fabulous place within an easy 3 minute walk to the beach (Seabright Beach), and a 7 minute walk to the Boardwalk, then LOOK NO FURTHER!
PROS: EVERYTHING
- Very Clean, 3 good size Bedrooms with very comfortable beds, and an addtional Futon in the living room if needed. While located off of a fairly busy street, the noise inside the house was not at all noticeable, and I am sensitive to sound.
- Cute neighborhood...you literally just walk down Pilkington (Street behind the house) turn left at the Museum of Natural History (so cool to walk through also), walk 50 ft, cross the street and you're at the beautiful beach! P.S. the outdoor shower is nice to rinse your feet off in before going into the house.
- Lots of extra blankets, towels, 2 cruiser bikes, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, games, etc.... Most everything is in great condition, yes, as other reviewers mention the kitchen items are a bit worn/used, but everything was there that we needed!
- Owner is extremely fast and helpful with any communication, and very clear with checkin and checkout instructions.
- The Boardwalk is a leisurely 7 minute walk from the front door....you are literally just 2 minutes from the footbridge that leads directly into the Boardwalk, it couldn't be easier!
- Close to coffee, you can walk or drive to several, plus many options within 5 minutes for food!
CONS:
- The wifi wasn't connecting at all, we tried several times. Now, I never contacted the owner about this, so it probably could've been easily remedied, but we just decided to go "old school", and not worry about having to be "CONNECTED"!
**In short, I would absolutely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience all around!

We booked this seabright property as a home base for a long weekend in Santa Cruz while we were there for a wedding and it was pretty perfect for our needs. The parking around the property was a little tricky during the day since it is close to the beach, but we were able to make it work. The driveway can fit 2 coupes or small SUVs tightly parked side by side, but we had one truck in the mix. It was nice to have access to the garage to park all of the bikes that we brought with us.

We really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of space for the family. Outdoor terrace with properly maintained grill. Room to lounge in the evenings with plenty of sunlight. Outdoor shower when coming back from the beach. And great communication with the owner. We look forward to returning!.
