The best way to see the beaches of La Jolla is to walk the shoreline of this upscale village. Part of this shoreline walk is officially called the La Jolla Coast Walk Trail, but few people walk the entire shore. Family of four here, kids 13 and 14. Great condo in a four unit building. Clean, well laid out, comfortable. Location was absolutely perfect for us! Amazingly quiet at night while still very close to beach, restaurants, and shops. Parking is a bit tight, but it works. Easy to drive to other adventures, but we loved not having to! Thanks for an amazing vacation, can’t wait to go back!

Loved this place right in the heart of La Jolla Shores. My wife, son, and I stayed five nights. There was plenty of room for the three of us. It was right around the corner from all the shops and restaurants. And it was a short two-block walk to the La Jolla Shores park and beach. I'd stay there again.

We had a great stay at the condo! The location was perfect, one block from the beach. The condo was clean and perfect for our family. It had all the amenities we needed. The only drawback was parking. It was a little tight with our large SUV. We would definitely stay here again!!!

The house was very dirty and with a horrible smell, the bed in the master bedroom smell like pee and the smell was very strong maybe the people before us had small kids or something, I messaged the property manager 3 times to complain about it but no real response. He just replied with the same question again and again asking me what was dirty, even I replied with a list of issues, other than that the property was very nice.we did not get nice whether while in La Jolla but overall it was a nice location and very convenient.

Thanksgiving getaway
His property has all the comforts of home and the location was excellent. It’s pet friendly too. The parking spot was a bonus due to the proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Great location
The location can’t be beat. It’s a couple blocks from one of the best snorkeling beaches For the leopard sharks (they are non-harmful and seasonal) and beginner surfing beaches. You can also kayak to the sea caves from the beach as well. We stayed with our 12 and 13 year old son. We stayed during COVID and it was an excellent location because the restaurants that are a couple blocks up the street had outdoor dining with heaters. There is a convenient store, surf rentals and frozen yogurt across the street. The condo is cute, very clean and has everything you need. The floors were a little greasy feeling. It wasn’t dirty but more like cleaner used didn’t dry properly on the new floors. I just wore socks to ignore it and it was no big deal. We are a beach family so we travel with a bucket and water for feet rinsing. The nearest beach entrance didn’t have an outdoor shower so I would recommend bringing one so you don’t bring unwanted sand in the condo. We just kept it on the patio. Lastly the sheets and towels are heavily scented with dryer sheets or something. I had to put something over the pillows the first night because the scent was so strong. The building is tastefully updated but old so you can hear the neighbors a bit who seemed to be renters as well. The positives outweighed the small negatives so I gave it five stars. We stayed at the tennis club, ocean front, a month prior and this condo was cleaner, nicer and next to the same beaches. Overall for a vrbo we were very happy and would love to stay again. The location just can’t be beat!

Great location but...
The location is fantastic. I stayed for 3 weeks and really enjoyed LaJolla and highly recommend the area but I don't think I will stay at the property again.
Positives: Location, plenty of bath and beach towels, beach stuff (not in great condition but usable) somewhat private outdoor space, friendly renters in adjoining units, felt safe as a single women with daughter, bathroom storage was good, I was allowed to bring my dog and that was awesome! Thank you for that Laden!
Negatives: Owners communications skills (I had to involve VRBO on several occasions) uncomfortable furniture and beds, the space was clean but the floors made our feet black with dirt, the bathroom sink backs up, there was only 2 rolls of TP, 1/4 roll paper towels and 2 trash bags for my 3 week stay. The bedrooms are hot at night. the mater bedroom's window opens to the parking area which. It has ac but its in the main living area. The community trash built up so bad that it was overflowing and I was unable to throw my trash out at one point. The kitchen seems nice in the pics but it is very dark and was missing many basic cooking items such as no sauce pan etc. The oven smelled of gas so I only used it once. Many of the dishes were dirty but that may not be managements fault. Its a downstairs unit so very noisy at times depending on activity above. I spent over 9k for the rental and felt that staying at the LaJolla shores hotel may have been a better fit. My partner came at the end of my visit and packed the beach towels. When unpacking I realized and reached out to Laden letting her know what happened and asking for an address that I could mail them to. She provided an address and I mailed them the next day, 2 day usps. She filed an insurance claim and I felt that was pre mature given she did not give it time to receive the towels. Maybe people say they will do something and don't.. maybe she's been burned before...who knows..

Another great stay!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we had another great stay. The two bedroom set-up is perfect for our family, and everything is very clean and pleasant. Ladan is great to work with and made everything very easy once again. The location is excellent - so close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.
