Wonderful place for a couple to come and spend time together. Cozy, close to “town” and just the right size.
The bed was not very comfortable. The memory foam padding on top of the mattress appears to be simply buying time before a new mattress is needed, however, all it does is create a more squishy hole to lay in. If I was to give any advice, it would be to get a new mattress for future renters. My neck is still hurting.

It really was a beautiful area. Everything was clean and we'll kept. This was our first time in the Smokey Mountains and so many people told us to stay in Townsend. I'm truly glad we did since we're "country folk" anyway and used to not being in a busy city.
I definitely didn't like the narrow, steep driveway, however I realize that in the mountains it's somewhat hard to avoid. One other thing we were disappointed about was that while it was away from the hustle of the city, the cabins were still fairly close to each other. We thought from the pictures that it was more secluded than it turned out to be. Sitting on the back deck looking out at the beautiful mountain in the morning with our coffee we could hear vehicles coming and going and people talking next to us. It took away from the peaceful experience we were imagining but nonetheless we still enjoyed our time there.
