About this house rental
Nestled in West Pennington, this lovely house for $195 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The story is this 1899 home was built for the management of the active Gold Mines in the area. It is a two story house. On the main floor we have one bedroom with a queen bed, a very nice comfy queen sofa sleeper in the living room, one full bath, and a new kitchen with everything you need . The second floor has three additional bedrooms. One large room with a queen bed, sofa and loveseat. One smaller bedroom with a double bed and the other room with two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has a shower. Outdoor BBQ gas grill. Perfect location and easy to find right on HWY 16/385 between Hill City and Keystone. Go right next door to the famous Dakota Stone Rock Shop, with gem panning, mine adventure, and gift shop. Hill City's newest winery is also right next door, with two other winery's within two blocks. One brewery next door and one just around the corner. And just five minutes to the world famous Alpine Inn Restaurant. Also you can access the ATV trail system from here and go north on miles of trails. We have lots of parking for campers, trailers, boats, so bring your toys. Great house at a great location. House was clean and the amenities were great! Had everything we wanted. Will definitely be staying there again!! There were four guys staying there and had plenty of space. Outside patio was great for unwinding at end of day!

Perfect!
We were unsure when we arrived about location and then wowed!! House was so so clean! everything we needed including a shaded patio and grill for dinner. Hill City was a quick 2 minute drive for groceries. Every place we wanted to visit was an easy drive. Would Highly Recommend!

It was perfect for our family of 4. Everyone had their own space to stretch out after long days out and about. Having a full kitchen with a full sized fridge and stove saved us from eating out every meal. Thank you!

We found this location to be exactly what we were looking for in terms of closeness to the sights we were interested in seeing and hiking. The Needle's area, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Wildlife Loop etc. I loved to be out on the trails early morning at 5am before the crowds and this location allowed that to happen in 20-30 minutes travel.
The place was very clean and cozy. The one possible downside for some might be that the property is right off a major Black Hills Road and traffic noise continues into early to mid-evening hours. I got used to it quickly.
I highly recommend you consider this location for a Black Hills visit!

This rental was very nice. It was right in between a rock shop and a brewery. The check in was seamless the place was clean and very comfortable and spacious. A couple things you might want to know. It has 2 mini split air conditioners (not central air) their is one bedroom downstairs and it did not have an air conditioner in it so did get a little warm. Their is a window unit in two of the three upstairs bedrooms which helped keep it cool. The main upstairs bedroom does not have a door which was unfortunate for privacy purposes. Also the tv upstairs does not have cable run to it (we had our roku so it was not an issue) The wi-fi was good. Also the stairs are very narrow and steep would not recommend if you have any mobility issues.

The house was exactly how it was presented. Very clean, excellent location, LOTS of room, worked great having two (somewhat) separate tv viewing areas for the teen. Highly recommend!

It was so nice to share a unique, roomy & accommodating house with good friends for an extra long weekend. We enjoyed making our own meals, playing games and each other's company. The location allowed us to easily set out and explore the whole black hills area. We were all happy with our choice.

Great house - great rental experience!

National Treasure Adventure
We enjoyed our stay in Hill City while exploring the Black Hills. We were very comfortable with all the amenities the Hidden Treasure Mine Compzny House offered. And now...off to Yellowstone.

Great Black Hill's Location
Charming turn if the century 4 bedroom 2 bath home right in the heart of all the Black Hills attractions. Clean and nicely appointed with a nice kitchen and full sized laundry. Really worked well for our family. Would absolutely come back again. Only gripe is that the internet is very slow but may be all they can get up in the mountains.

Came out to Hill City with adult children and grandchild to travel the trails on our side by side. The house was absolutely gorgeous inside, adorably decorated and very spacious. Really great location - close to everything. Cell service & wifi we’re very spotty - had to drive into Hill City a couple times to call/google. But excellent if you’re looking to “unplug”. Would definitely stay again.
