Deo's Alaskan Cabin is privately situated amongst the trees 130 feet behind Log Dreamin' Lodge, just a short walk through the forest to Lost Creek. The cabin was designed to be efficient & comfortable, creating a space that travelers the world over could enjoy! You can find yourself sitting on the covered porch with a hot cup of tea or sitting in front of your private fire pit, opportunities to enjoy this beautiful property are limitless! The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and our upstairs loft features two full beds with ample space. The bathroom is beautifully done with a shower and bathtub. You'll find the kitchen to be fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. Complimentary organic coffee & tea is provided as well. If you would like to grill up your catch of the day, feel free to use our gas BBQ located on your private porch. For a rainy day take advantage of one of our movies, free internet, books or board games, or gather around your private fire pit, a beautiful way to end a great Alaskan day!

Nice cabin away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to town! Kitchen well stocked and nice bathroom. Downstairs bedroom is only big enough for the queen size bed, very narrow walkway to get in and out and no room for suitcase. Roomy loft with 2 double beds, stairs very steep. Beautiful grounds. Good lighting.

We had 4 adults stay for 3 nights in August. The cabin is very nicely decorated and comfortable. It is a short drive to Seward. The upstairs loft is large but downstairs is a bit small. Difficult for more than 1 person in the kitchen and bedroom was small including no room for luggage in the bedroom. The bathroom is very nice and good size. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered porch listening to the rain. The cabin worked for our needs. I do strongly recommend the cabin just know it is a bit on the small side.

My husband, myself and my 2 sons (ages 13, and 11) stayed in the cabin for a week. The cabin is super cute and the gardens are beautiful. Check-in was really easy and upon arrival, we met one of the owners who was really nice and provided some information on the area. My one negative comment would be that the house is not really able to support 4 people and our luggage. While there are enough beds, there really isn't enough livable space. So, while I would definitely stay here again if it was just my husband and I, I would look for something a little larger if we had more than 2 people.

We had a very short trip to Seward to see the whales one day and this was the perfect spot to stay! Cabin was super cute, check in was easy and everything was super clean. I had one question regarding the fire pit, and Cathy responded immediately. Definitely recommend! Great experience. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed our short stay, wished that we could of enjoyed the morning on the lovely front porch but had to leave at 7:30 am for our boat tour. Would love to stay again next time we are in Seward!

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean, well decorated, in a beautiful setting, and had everything we needed. The owners were super friendly and available for any questions. Also enjoyed having the games…we played something every night.

This cabin is adorable and utilizes every inch of space perfectly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our two teenagers. It is close enough to town and all of the activities that the area offers!

We enjoyed our stay! The heater kept us nice and cozy. Appreciated the friendly welcome upon our arrival. The cabin was well-stocked … complete with coffee beans! There was a cup with a chip in the lip that should have been tossed and not left for our discovery and randomly the soap dispenser in the bathroom kept falling apart. Those are simple fixes. Don’t rely on the wi-if. My husband tried it and it was fairly blinky. We just our cellular connection which wasn’t too bad.

Very cute and clean place. We were hoping to make memories here but unfortunately positive ones didn’t happen. Last minute my son decided that he wanted to join us on the trip. The cabin sleeps 6 so I honestly didn’t think about adding him. Within 1 hr of checking in Cathy asked me for another $42 to accommodate the 3rd guest. It’s not the money that bothered me it is the fact that we were being watched. I was so uncomfortable that we promptly left the next morning. We didn’t get any money back including the 3rd guest fee paid. In addition don’t expect to get internet. Cathy told us to move closer to the door. Well that didn’t work but when we opened the door we got internet. I suppose the Wi-Fi signal comes from the main house. So don’t expect this amenity to work. As a host myself, I would never ruin a family’s experience for $42. Please don’t watch guests. We don’t like that.

We loved this little cabin. There is a very private feel even with the lodge nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, listen to the water and watching for bears. The use of space an amenities were amazing, including the coffee beans/grinder. Cathy was so responsive and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable. the water pressure and kitchen were great. Cathy was very personable and had a great suggestion for us to hike Exit Glacier - don't miss that! It's close by.

The property is small, smaller than it looks in the listing. But it is clean and cozy. It may seem like it is far from Seward, but it is just a short drive. We really loved the location and the property provided everything we were looking for!

This cabin was perfect for our needs. The five of us needed a place to get out of the cold and get a good night’s sleep for three days after our four day trek in the back country of Lake Clark National Park. Our agenda in Seward included a wildlife cruise and more hiking. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The ladder to the loft was steep but fun. We had a great time in Seward and this cabin was part of that great experience.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin. It’s in a very secluded and peaceful setting, even tho there is a lodge not far from it. Cathy was responsive and helpful with all our questions and needs. The loft was my favorite part about the house, even tho we had no need to use it. Overall a great place to stay.
