Located in North Vancouver, this attractive condo for $118 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Travel alert: there are 12 steps down to the suite .Hand rails on both sides. A bright 750 sq. ft suite with 4 windows with screens. All rooms have in-ceiling fixtures with flood lamp (2700k) all equipped with dimmer switches for your ambiance preferences. SKIERS take NOTE: Only 10 minutes to the nearest Coastal Mountain skiing at Grouse Mountain; 15 minutes to Cypress Bowl ski mountain; 30 minutes to Mount Seymour ski lifts. Only 1 Hour and 31 minutes to Whistler / Blackcomb Ski mountains. You are only 12 minutes to Vancouver City Centre by car, 30 minutes by bus and Seabus to Vancouver city centre. Locally you are only 5 minutes to shopping at Park Royal or Capilano Mall. Excellent furnishings in this one bedroom private entrance suite. Cleaning is very detailed by an on-staff cleaner (20 year tenure). We are12 steps down to that level (banisters on both sides). The suite has 4 windows which open fully for clean fresh air. The suite is not part of the central air heating as with the rest of the house, (not sharing air); the suite's heating is electric baseboards in every room. It has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a full-sized washer and dryer laundry room in the suite; a large dining area; a livingroom area equipped with big screen TV and Telus cable; a workstation area with free WiFi. The bedroom is equipped with a new Queen sized tempur-pedic mattress and combed cotton high thread count sheets with fluffy shams, duvet and pillows. A warm spacious cozy retreat.

My partner and I stayed here for a few days while visiting family in N. Vancouver, going to Lynn Canyon and driving to Whistler for a day - so great location for that, right off the freeway, but beautifully wooded property, quiet dead end street. Owner had me park next to his, easy for loading unloading. Fully furnished with top everything. One flight of stairs down but not a problem for us. Would highly recommend

This apartment is private with plenty of room. It's in a very nice neighborhood and is accessible to shopping and other points of intetest, including the waterfront.

We visited this property in August so the proximity to ski hills was not the attracting factor. However, being in North Vancouver near the Shipping yards for ferry to downtown as well as on bus routes to nearby Stanley Park, Capilano bridge was a huge bonus. The suite was well stocked with every item a guest could possible need and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Our daughter and I stayed here for our visit to Vancouver. It was very conveniently located for the places we wanted to go and things we wanted to see and do. Howie’s apartment was everything it was advertised to be. The kitchen is well equipped with items you need to prepare meals if you want to cook. The washer and dryer came in handy! The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great! And our host was very helpful and courteous. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet with grocery stores and some very good restaurants close by. ❤️

This is a well appointed suite with friendly and accommodating hosts. There is a set of stairs down to the suite, and being in the basement, it is a bit dark with low water pressure, but it is very clean and has everything you need to be comfortable in your stay. I would recommend this suite, and I would rent it again. Thank you!

Howie provides an exceptional place to stay. It was the cleanest VRBO that we have stayed. It had everything we needed to make our own meals. Located close to many opportunities to escape into nature but also a very short drive to shops, restaurants, and businesses. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

It would be impossible to ask for more, everything was perfect from the pencil sharpener to magnifying mirror. Cutlery and crockery were plentiful with no waiting to fill the DW. Loved the Pears soap. Driving into the city was very easy but beware, there is no free parking in Vancouver and there is an absence of signs and meters. It's called visitor entrapment by insisting on digital payment. The wee village of Edgemont is close and well worth a visit. It's also the last bastion of unrestricted parking. The host was most helpful with any queries. All in all a very comfortable home from away for 4 days in Beautiful British Columbia.

Location has great walking or public transport access to most amenities and many attractions. The suite was very clean, quiet and is represented accurately by the photos on VRBO. A tree was set up during the holiday season to enjoy, a very generous holiday gesture! We highly recommend this VRBO.

There are a lot of things that were nice about the property. We were welcomed in by Howie and he showed us around. We parked in the driveway during the big snow week, and Howie did his best to keep the walks and areas clear for us. We even got a ride to and from the Transit station to take the boat to downtown for a hockey game. There was just about every appliance you could ask for and the place was very clean. It was nice having a washer and dryer. We always bring soap and dryer sheets to do a load while we are on the road to save on packing. Fresh coffee beans and a grinder was also a nice touch. There are plenty of dishes, cups, silverware available as well. The weather was not great, so we spent a lot of time at the rental. We felt at home. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Howie is such an incredible host with a wonderful home. His home is super spacious and has everything you'll ever need. The kitchen is my favorite part! I've stayed at many places with my boyfriend and this has been one of the absolute best. The location is perfect- it's a close drive to so many places that are a must-see, such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Howie is super friendly, understanding and quick to respond. My boyfriend and I are so glad we booked his home for our little vacation, we highly recommend it!

The location of the rental was great - right beside the highway in a lovely cul-de-sac that was really quiet. Howie was an excellent host. He met us at the property to give us the keys, show us around the rental, and relay any important info. The rental itself was amazing - incredibly clean, excellent repair, and great furniture/appliances. It felt like a little home away from home. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, I highly recommend it!

Imagine you have a relative who has done well for themselves and you’re staying in their basement. All the amenities are first class from the linens to the glassware. It’s spacious and a lot of thought has been put into making it cozy and functional. Howie met me out front and we had a nice handshake and a chat before keys were exchanged. Once inside, it’s posh and private. Nice dining and TV areas. Writing desk and some great books for fictionphiles. Comfy bed. Some things to know, and they’re not deal breakers for me (in fact, I intend to return during ski season), but… - It’s a basement. If you’re hoping for a view or you’re claustrophobic there could be issues. There are windows for ventilation and the backyard you enter from is lovely. Flight of stairs that has anti-slip, but not suitable for those with mobility issues. - There is a robust and vibrant family above you and the footsteps begin early. If you’re looking for monastic silence keep searching. - B.C. is a 420-friendly province. The occasional herbal essence wafted by now and then. Not sure of the origins and it doesn’t bother me, but if you’re prudish or hypersensitive, a hotel might be a better option. Overall, one of the more unique and interesting home-hosting spaces I’ve stayed in. And! It was about $100 less than any of the hotel options I was looking at. Cheers.
