Yes, some guests have asked why the landscape color is gone in the winter time ... :). You'll be within just a few minutes walking distance to dozens of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and public transportation. It's warm, cozy, secluded, accessible - you’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the location, and the lighted enclosed exterior and fire-pit stone terrace. This is a perfect place for all types of travelers and activities. This malapai stone house is a perfect mix of classic and modern, with warm wood interiors and modern updates, including hydronically heated wood floors and a freshly remodeled bathroom. The kitchen is original with a few aesthetic improvements, and the queen bed is new and comfortable. In addition, the entire house is on a charcoal filtration water system.

My boyfriend and I just adore Flagstaff and like to go as often as possible. This little cottage was the perfect place to stay to be within walking distance of downtown. It was quiet and cozy, perfect for couples to just get away for a few nights!

We totally loved this place !! Very clean and spacious apartment. Great location to walk to all the shops and restaurants in all of downtown Flagstaff. Will definitely be staying here again sometime soon !!

Check in process was a breeze! We were immediately met by Jac when we arrived, and he showed us his beautiful carriage house. He thoroughly informed us of everything needed to make our stay comfortable. House is in a lovely location close to everything downtown has to offer and our favorite place Fry's where we stocked up on groceries and wine. Kitchen was spacious and had everything we might have needed and more. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and even used the oven for Christmas dinner! The rest of the house is so cozy! Bathroom was nice and roomy and included some basic essentials you might have forgotten. The whole carriage house was just as described, and we didn't want to leave. It was so comfy, we even hibernated watching Netflix for 2 days straight! Another note is that his carriage house is close to Williams, AZ. We took advantage of getting tickets to the Polar Express (kids at heart). So, if you wish to explore another town close by when you visit, the carriage house is place is a great choice to stay. Jac was very kind and accommodating. We only wished we could have spent more time getting to know him, as he had a prior trip planned. He was always a text a way though! Thanks, Jac for making our Christmas get-away perfection. God Bless!

A homey, comfortable cottage that is exactly as advertised! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - fully taking advantage of easy off street parking and the short walking distance to downtown Flagstaff's shopping, dining, and coffee shops. Jac is a wonderful host who went out of his way to greet us and ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Five stars!

Clean, comfortable, great location, and nice owner/property manager. The only item which might be a negative for renters is the bedroom. It is a small room and the bed is against the wall. If one needs to get up during the night one needs to climb over the other person.

I love staying at Jac’s property. The location is perfect for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. It’s clean and cozy and the bed is very comfortable. My friend slept on the blow up mattress and said it was also very comfortable.

This cottage was charming, quiet, and relaxing It's an upstairs unit. If you don't like stairs, it's not for you. The hardwood floors are a nice touch. It could use a dishwasher, garbage disposal, small coffee table for livingroom, and a air-conditioner unit. It's decorated nicely and very comfortable. Lots of open windows with warm spring, summer, and fall days. The floor fans are a nice welcome for air circulation. It's just a quick walk to Flagstaff city center. There are great restaurants throughout the Flagstaff area. The people of Flagstaff are friendly and inviting. Josephine's American Bistro Restaurant was my favorite place for dinner just a block away from the cottage. I used my 6 weeks stay here as a writing retreat and sabbatical. Lots of outdoor activities throughout the area. The Grand Canyon is a 90 minute drive from Flagstaff. I went to the Grand Canyon on 4 separate trips in 6 weeks. Lots of great hiking trails in the Grand Canyon NP. I recommend the Grand Canyon train trip from Williams to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The train is relaxing and scenic. Wildlife is abundant in northern Arizona.

This is a lovely, historic property that is well taken care of. Jac takes great pride in his home and it shows. He is attentive to your needs, questions and requests. We always heard back from him very quickly if we had any questions or concerns. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

This VRBO is above and beyond thanks to the host, Jac, and the property's charm and convenience. Jac is communicative and friendly, and he's taken care to preserve the building's history while making it comfortable for guests (updated bathroom, Apple TV, etc.). It's right by downtown Flagstaff, so it's incredibly convenient to walk to everything. But it's also nice to stay on property: The outdoor garden/firepit and picnic table is so lovely that we got carry-out and brought it back to eat under the stars. Very few VRBOs have such a gorgeous al fresco area, and it was a terrific respite from the Phoenix heat.

We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff. Jac is very responsive and the perfect host. The apartment is very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed staying within blocks of great restaurants, breweries and shopping.

We enjoyed staying at Jac's historic flat for the few days that we were in Flagstaff. It is very close to the Lowell Observatory, local trail system as well as old town. The flat is well suited for two people and we were able to cook all our meals, as everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. Communication with Jac is excellent and we appreciated his detailed instructions. We would love to stay again when in Flagstaff!

Everything at the property was as seen in the pictures. The property check in with Jac went very smoothly. The property was very clean. Jac takes a lot of pride with his property. Jac responded to our correspondence in a very timely matter. If we went back we would stay there again.

The location of the unit is great. You have the ability to walk to downtown Flag in minutes. The owner's son was very personable and responsive to any of our questions, he was our point of contact since the owner was out of the country. The space was nice, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. One picky thing is that the grounds seemed overgrown, but that could have been due to the owner being out of the country and the seasons clanging.

Jac was so easy to work with. He responded quickly when needed otherwise left us to our own. The house was very comfy and well equipped for our stay not to mention nicely decorated and minutes walk to downtown. I highly recommend Jac’s carriage house when visiting Flagstaff.
