I loved staying at the cedar loft. I went for a solo trip and really enjoyed the beach and forest and serenity of the place, especially the day when no one else had booked the neigboring spot and I had the whole beach to myself. The loft had everything I needed and had amazing views of the lake even from the bed. Would recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We booked the spot because we were missing our Canadian vacation spot, which is inaccessible because of the COVID border closure. The experience we had here was very similar: quiet, unhurried, beautiful surroundings, a chance to catch up on reading. But there were also numerous things to do within an hour's drive or a little more: Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks, Mackinac Island, Pictured Rocks, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Big Spring, Whitefish Point, Point Iroquois Lighthouse and Whitefish Bay Scenic Drive, etc. We saw eagles and loons, and had a great walk and picnic on the beach. Dianne wanted to be certain that we had a good time, and we did. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was comfortable and had a view of the woods and the sound of the waves. We would be happy to stay again.
