Situated in Redondo Beach, this lovely house for $108 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. My spacious peaceful backhouse with fireplace is overlooking a large garden with fruit trees and roses, a lovely country setting by the beach. Enjoy meals in the patio with barbecue, walk or cycle to the beach, a 10 minutes walk away. Treat yourself to seafood or go fishing at the Redondo Beach Pier. Shop for fresh produce at the farmers market, right by the beach (you might see some dolphins and pelicans!). Grocery stores are half a mile away. Go hiking on the beach or along the hiking trails of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Riviera Village, a 15-minute walk away, will charm you with its array of boutiques, restaurants, a lovely area for an evening stroll. This is a 30-day minimum stay only.

This is one of the best places that I have stayed in my travels. First the host was kind, responsive, and helpful. The space was as shown on the website--so comfortable and well-equipped. The outdoor patio was surrounded by a beautiful garden. You could spend time outside or just sit at the kitchen table and enjoy through the window. The location was excellent-about a 10 minute walk to Redondo Beach. It was a treat to walk down to the beach every day at sunset to see the beauty. I highly recommend this property. It really couldn't be better.

Marie-France is a great host and kind person. The unit was spacious enough that my partner and I could each work remotely. Having the outdoor patio was a huge plus!

Marie-France and her gardens are truly an oasis! The gas BBQ and laundry facilities were very appreciated. The bed is very comfortable. and the apartment is just right for 1-3 persons. Some functional updates would enhance a long stay. I bought a work surface for my remote work, a little blender and a few other items. The Beach is an easy 20 minute walk through the neighborhood and shopping/restaurants in between. Parking at Marie-France's was free and available. The Hostess is charming! Go for it!

My wife and I spent 30 days here and really enjoyed it. Easy walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Internet was fast and never went offline. Highly recommend

This was the second time I rented this property. Marie-France is a wonderful host. Although the house is near the beach, restaurants and shopping, it is a very quiet and tranquil space.

From initial searches around South Bay area this property kept me coming back and though I don't know the area, it was the right place to stay while in LA. Easy and obliging check in early after 12 hr night flight from Au. And during the stay Marie was the ideal host. There when needed but left alone when not needed. Lots of useful advice and a grand tour around the Rolling Hills nearby . A very homely feel and all one needs to have a great time self catering. Will return when next needing a location that's great, a marvelous host and good value.

The property was just as described. Inside was very comfortable and the tropical gardens and patio are beautiful and add to the square footage living space. The location is fantastic, only an 18 minute walk to the beach and Riviera Village which is full of independent shops and restaurants. The host, Marie-France, is friendly snd communicative, yet respectful of guests’ privacy. Highly Recommend!!!

I am very pleased with the stay, Marie-France was an excellent host and very responsive. I stay for 5 weeks for work, I was able to walk to beach everyday and groceries stores where just a short walk away. Getting a good parking space can be challenging, but other than that I highly recommend!

Marie France was a gracious hostess and provided valuable information about the area. As a female traveling alone, I felt safe. Short walk to the beach. I made a fire most nights in the wood burning fireplace! Street parking is available but I got a parking ticket on street cleaning day so read the street signs! I would certainly go back and stay at the same location!!

We couldn't be happier with this lovely rental. It had all the amenities we required to stay for a long duration. We used this rental as a place to stay while we looked for a permanent residence in California. The tiered garden area that the back rental apartment looks out upon is a real high point for anyone staying there, with comfortable seating and a barbeque that we used extensively. The apartment is not too far from grocery stores that provide curbside pickup shopping, a big plus during the pandemic conditions, and the Torrance Beach is within walking distance. The host was exceptional helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend anyone needing a stable place to stay to consider this accommodation. It was a joy.

We enjoyed meeting Marie-France and staying in her charming cottage. Marie-France is a lovely person and couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. The neighbourhood is great, a short walk to Riviera Village and the beach. Lots of great restaurants! The cottage looked exactly like it did in the pictures on VRBO. The only thing I would comment on is it could use a little “sprucing up”. However, at the price, you are getting good value.
