Located in Bend, this attractive house for $372 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This home has a view that will take your breath away. You'll feel the tension leave the moment you walk in the front door. Enjoy majestic sunrises in the mornings while sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee. On a clear day view the weather conditions on Mt. Bachelor directly from the upper deck. After an energizing day on the slopes or the trails, gather with friends by the fireplace in the living room. Golden Butte is a four bedroom, two and half bathroom vacation home which sleeps 8 comfortably. Bend, Oregon makes this home an excellent spot for your next vacation. Enter on slate flooring with the fully-equipped kitchen and living room with a fireplace as the center of the home. On the second floor of the home, the large master suite with a King bed, large walk-in closet, The large en-suite, tiled bathroom has dual sinks, walk-in glass shower, jetted sunken tub with two large picture widows for a relaxing view and a water closet. The second bedroom on the floor is a great kids room with two twin beds. There is a Media Room for your entertainment. The large wrap around couch and Flat Screen on the wall with make you want to watch movies forever. The third floor features two Queen guest suites with 'shabby chic' distressed decor and great views. There is a shared bathroom in between the bedrooms. As well on the 3rd floor is a Foosball table for your fun. Send the kids downstairs for a fun game of Foosball while you sit upstairs and enjoy the views. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances with a four burner gas range, breakfast bar with granite tile and seating for two. The home also has formal seated dining for six on slate flooring. The living room has a gas fireplace, comfortable sofa, two chairs and a large LCD Flat Screen television with a blue ray DVD player and high definition cable service. We allow pets at pet friendly homes only with prior approval and a $15/night/pet, pet fee. Pets are not permitted on the bedding or furniture and must never be left at the home alone unless they are crated/kenneled. Please note, if you choose to book with this home, you will be receiving a separate rental agreement that will need to be electronically signed before your stay.

Nice house, great kitchen but lots of stairs! Not a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues needs to know that the bedrooms are all down a steep flight of stairs. Great location and eastern view. Highly recommend this house.

Great house. Stayed here with another family and everyone agreed the house was a win. Very kid friendly, clean, neat layout for two families (be prepared to climb stairs), kitchen was well stocked (thanks for the tupperware) but the best by far was the view of Bend. House is in a residential neighborhood so don't expect to walk to anything (although there is a small playground nearby). Only feedback for improvement is that both the doors leading into the master bedroom and the master bed were suuuuppppeeerrr squeaky- wd40 please! Oh, and I love foosball but the table here could use some R&R.

the TV's in the living space and the media room didn't work for general tv. The light over the toilet in the main bathroom was out. But the view were beautiful. The house was perfectly located for our needs. Plenty of room and comfort with many details accounted for.

We used the home as a base camp for our 18th Annual Fly Fishing Adventure in Central Oregon. Our cooks were amazed at how well stocked the kitchen was with equipment to prepare our meals. It was a place centrally located for all the rivers we enjoy fishing.

This property was exactly what our double-family vacation needed! We grilled on the deck, played games in the open, spacious main room, and used the place as a jumping-off point for biking, rafting, and eating in town. The house was open and easily absorbed our family ranging in age from 3-53. Our only disappointment was that the gas stove was underpowered - it took us about an hour to cook bacon and :20 to heat up a small pot of water. All of the bedrooms are located one or two stories below the main floor so it could be difficult for older folks or those with mobility issues.

This house has it all! It’s dreamy. We had a blast. It has loads of space, unbelievable views, and great neighborhood. Everything is well thought out in this place. Owners know how to host. We are grateful we got to stay there. Will definitely be back

With the sky getting bright at around 5am in June, the master bedroom was really lit up which can be a problem for "light sensitive" people.

This was a lovely, four bedroom home with exceptional views. It was close to downtown Bend and a short 25 miles to Mt. Bachelor. Check in and check out was super easy. The home was very clean and well appointed.

A Great Stay in Bend
We come to Bend a few times a year, and like to rent homes so we can cook for ourselves and have get togethers with other friends who are in town, so we are pretty fair in our judgements of homes I think.
At first glance, Golden Butte might seem a little off the beaten path, but Bend is very walkable (and bike-able), and the house is less than a mile and a half from most of the west-side attractions we like (The Lot, Ten Barrel, Brother Jon's, etc). It is only a few minutes drive from the Old Mill area, where we really enjoy Spoken Moto, Immersion, Crux, and the Brown Owl.
Anyways, back to the house:
It was very clean, the kitchen was well-appointed, there was a spare propane tank for the BBQ, and lots of spare paper goods, lots of towels in the bathrooms, etc. It shows that the owners want to make sure you have everything you need.
The one thing I would have liked to see is dressers in the bedrooms. Like most people, we typically come to Bend for several days and nights (we were there five nights), and it would be nice not to have to live out of your suitcase.
Finally, this isn't a complaint, just a heads-up. This is a three-level home. The living area is on the top level, the master and a second bedroom are on the lower level, and the last two bedrooms are on the lowest level. If you have people in your group who cannot do stairs, this wouldn't be the house for you.
All in all, we really enjoyed the house, the views from the deck, and the location. We would definitely stay again.

We had a really good time staying in Bend. The location was great, and the house is nice. There is some really low hanging fruit that would have easily made the stay nicer.First off, there is not enough silverware. We had two families of 4 and there are only 6 spoons... The kitchen needs real measuring cups. I ended up using the blender to measure things. And more cooking utensils.Also, floors could use a deep cleaning. Our 8 month old son was crawling all around and his clothing ended up black in spots from the dirty floors.
