The kids just loved swimming at sunset. It was great walking distance to some restaurants and stores. Truly peaceful and a great spot to stay! Close driving to Charlevoix and Petosky.

My wife and I stayed at Water Street Inn for our “mini honeymoon” in 1995. Well 25 years later we returned to this most memorable place! Obviously the area has changed some, but the beauty is still extraordinary!! We waited 25 years too long to return. For sure this will be a yearly trip.

Reviewer Comments: I and my family have been coming to the Waterstreet Inn for many years because of it's beautiful location, immaculate units, and great atmosphere.
This year was a bit disappointing, yet it's still a wonderful place to stay. Unit #110 is badly in need of updating, 4 cabinets in the kitchen were locked leaving little space for food storage, 2 ceiling lights were out or flucuating from bright to dim,there were cobwebs in lights, dust behind the TV, TV did not work first night but was promptly fixed the next day, mold growing around all the bathtub jacuzzi vents, and problems getting our towels replaced properly. Staff were very pleasant.
It just wasn't up to what we've cme to expect from WaterStreet Inn.

The kids loved being able to come and go from the unit to the lake. You can't beat the views of Lake Charlevoix!

The unit is exactly as pictured and described. It had everything we needed. The staff at the Inn was very quick to provide us with extra bath towels when requested. The unit was clean and well-maintained.

The unit is definitely "dated" but for the price and location you can't beat it.

Wonderful spot to enjoy Lake Charlevoix. A bit of a mix up about having my small kayak trailer on the premises. The girl in the management office let me know that there had been "complaints". I took care of it at the Boyne City Boat Yard at a cost of $10 per day (Charlie and Tanner there were wonderful). Please make sure that future guests know about this rule.

Great location within walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shops, and convenience stores. As well as beach/water and walkable to the nearby park/marina.

Boyne City Michigan. The view was beautiful and relaxing.
When we checked in the receptionist was helpful and pleasant.
There were a few things we were dissatisfied with. The blind was broken but they were in the process of redoing each room. My cousin had stayed in an other room which was beautifully redone.
The other complaint was that one of her personal items went missing. The front desk was very concerned and a report was given to management which was rectified.
We would definitely stay at the Water Front Inn again despite the few complaints.
Boyne City is a lovely place to visit.
