I am staying in the best part of Istanbul! The hotel is amazing! Volkan made me feel so welcome! This is by far one of the best cities/areas I've stayed in.
There is no breakfast but thats not a problem because it makes you want to go out and explore. It's such a vibrant city and this location is the best. Didn't know there were so many hills to climb but It's worth it!

The spacious room with its massive windows. It's very old, but with modern amenities, making it quite charming. The air condition is great. The bathroom is also quite good. The whole room was very clean when we arrived. The location is excellent for that part of Istanbul, everything is close by.
The noise is one of the bigger issues. There are bars all around and it gets quite noisy on the weekend, although closed windows are helpful. The building is old so there's no elevator, which can be problematic for some, but you get used to it.

Location is convenient.
Extremely noisy at night. There is a parking lot next to the hotel and you will not sleep a single night because every car stopping by is sharing its portion of music with you. Plus I stayed the for 8 days and during that time no one came to clean the room or take the garbage. Plus the real room differs significantly from the pictures, since they are heavily processed in Photoshop.
