We stayed here for the second time and the building itself is full of character and charm. The location is also as central as it can be.
The stay was great except I’m sorry to say the facilities have deteriorated a bit since the last time I stayed here. Some staff was very courteous - a special mention to the bellboy who works there during weekdays.
- Unfortunately when we first arrived after a long flight, our rooms were not ready which is fine because this happens and we may have arrived a few minutes earlier than checkin time. But then we were sent to the terrace for ‘welcome drinks’ which never arrived and we were completely forgotten. The only time I was told two out of three rooms were ready was when I came downstairs myself to ask.
- Basic amenities in our room, such as soap, was never replaced for the 5 days we were there. So we were washing our hands with shower gel.
- One of my favourite things from my last time was the à la carte breakfast at the restaurant. Unfortunately, they weren’t serving that any longer. The buffet had limited options and when we got there all the dishes were sitting empty, so we decided to dine elsewhere.

Brilliant hotel, brilliant crew & ridiculous value in Istanbul.
What a find. Mr Cas Hotels Taksim absolutely smashed it.
The room was incredible for the price: stylish, spacious, beautifully appointed and with a seriously comfortable bed. The amenities were excellent and the whole place has that lovely feeling of being a proper boutique hotel rather than another soulless cookie-cutter chain.
But the real stars were Agit, Akın, Benjamin and Cihan. What a crew. Helpful, friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure everything went smoothly for us. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and good service delivered with actual personality is becoming a rare beast these days.
The location on Istiklal is fantastic too … step outside and Istanbul is basically happening right in front of you.
Great room. Great location. Outstanding staff. Ridiculously good value.
Would stay here again without hesitation.
And gentlemen … Agit, Akın, Benjamin and Cihan … take a bow. You made the place. 👏🏼🇹🇷

The hotel was really nice, well located, clean and matched the pictures.
What isn’t said in the description is that it is next to a nightclub apparently and the bass makes vibrations in the walls all night until 5 or 6am.
We stayed 2 nights, the first was this and the second really seemed to come from upper floors (I was 3rd and my parents 2nd) as I heard nothing from my parent’s but from mine and the corridor, really felt like it but the reception was confused and didn’t answer properly the question so I had to take a medicine to be able to sleep.
They provide earplugs but it is definitely not enough (and my father is a huge sleeper usually)
