This area offers you peace and quiet from the summer crowds without being too far away from the historic downtown area. Tom Nevers beach is located 1.5 miles down the road and has miles of secluded beachfront that is never crowded in the summer. Use the Milestone bike path to head to the quaint town of Siasconset (2 miles) or head to town (5 miles). If you are looking for a great workout, the bike path connects to the Polpis bike path to create a 30-mile loop. Also located within a half mile of the bus stop "The Wave" which will take you to the historic downtown shops or local beaches. Tom Never's is a rural setting surrounded by conservation land and many walking paths leading to beaches and the moors. Next to Tom Nevers Beach you can find a children's playground, outdoor roller rink, basketball hoops, and baseball fields with beautiful views of the ocean. This is the perfect area for fishing and surfing if desired. This area is also less than 1 mile from 3 golf courses (2 private, 1 public).. We welcome you to a beautifully constructed upside-down colonial home with covered front porch and 2nd floor deck to watch the picturesque Tom Nevers sunsets. Your home away includes 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with central air conditioning and wifi. Outside you will find a private fenced in heated large pool, screened in gazebo, large heated private outdoor shower and large landscaped yard with playground and basketball court. 2nd floor: Open kitchen, living and dining floor plan with cathedral ceiling and 1/2 bathroom. Beautiful chefs kitchen with custom mahogany counter tops, six burner Viking gas range, central island and breakfast bar. Large living room area with fireplace and large HDTV. Dining area is open to living area and includes comfortable seating for 8 people. Walk out to the 2nd floor deck to enjoy the rural setting and the well-known Tom Nevers sunsets. 1st floor: First master bedroom with lounging area and en-suite custom bathroom and private outdoor sitting area. Second bedroom with two twin beds. A third room that may serve as over-flow sleeping with pop up trundle bed that can convert to king size bed if needed, play area, and TV. Basement: Second large master bedroom, with king sized bed, including custom en-suite bathroom. Natural light pours into the bedroom from french doors leading to a private sitting area with walk out to the beautiful yard and pool. Pool: Large 800 sqft in-ground HEATED pool. Gazebo: Screened in area with gate to pool. Large outdoor blue slate patio area around Gazebo leading to pool perfect for outdoor dining or lounging. Driveways: Two driveways available in case you would like to use the basketball hoop in main driveway. Playground: 2 slides, climbing wall, wobble bridge, and 3 swings. This is our second time at this fantastic property. We love the layout of the house which manages to feel cozy and spacious all at once, with a beautiful living area on the top floor. Great playground for kids and quiet street. Hosts couldn’t be nicer. Look forward to returning again!

Located outside of town with easy drive in and out and great access to sconset bluff walk and multiple beaches. The hosts were very responsive and also not at all overbearing. They made several recommendations upon request that were also all excellent. I would absolutely stay again.

The house is incredibly well stocked - you literally can find anything you need in their awesome kitchen. What I really appreciate about the home is that is very well maintained, and feels like new!
The basketball court was such a bonus for our boys. That said, the entire landscape is gorgeous and pristine! The pool is amazing as well!

The house was as described on the website. Lovely house on a large lot in the Tom Nevers Area - quiet area, not much close by, but a short drive to town, many fun beaches and Sconset very close by.
House was very clean, check in easy, owners delightful and very responsive. I have only two suggestions for a perfect stay. Pillows were not the best and a small mirror in the non master guest rooms would be great. Other than that, house was well cared for, had everything you would need for a beach, shopping and relaxing getaway. Very responsive and sweet hosts!! Thanks for everything. We will be back!!

We stayed the weekend to attend the Christmas Stroll. The house was beautiful and very clean. Jameson and Julia were the best hosts we've had. They provided us with helpful tips that made our experience at the Stroll a memorable one. They were very easy to communicate with and we would absolutely stay at this house again!

This was an awesome, spotless house to stay on our trip to Nantucket. Our family loved having the pool and such a great location on the island. It is centrally located and close to town, Sconset and the bike path. It is well stocked with everything you need - especially beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella! The hosts were super quick to respond and made everything easy. We loved it!

We have been renting a home in the Tom Nevers area of Nantucket for many years now with our children, and this has been the best one yet. A very comfortable, roomy, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy. Within easy walking/biking distance of Tom Nevers beach. Quick access to the bike trail system along Milestone Road, can be in lovely Sconset within minutes. A lovely backyard with a playground, perfect if traveling with younger children. The pool was an added bonus, perfect for unwinding with the kids after a day out and about on the island. The owners were easily accessible and very easy to work with, but respected our privacy. Would highly recommend for families with children!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this property. Our kids loved the pool and play set and the enormous lawn for soccer. It was very clean, well equipped and even bigger than I expected. Jameson and Julia were lovely hosts and responded quickly to all of our questions. Would definitely recommend!

We had a picture perfect week at this well appointed Tom Nevers property. Hosts were welcoming, gave us fun ideas for low-key excursions around the island and they have the house set up perfectly for family fun. We spent many great afternoons enjoying the pool and large well-maintained yard. Town is just a short drive away, but it was nice to be able to retreat to a more quiet, spacious area at the end of the day.

This Tom Nevers house is a gem, and is exactly as described in the listing. Spacious inside and out, it was the perfect Nantucket getaway for our family. The hosts were friendly and responsive from start to finish, the house was stocked with towels, linens, kitchen and grill equipment and came with an outdoor bonus – a play structure, basketball hoop and pool – which made this listing stand out from the rest. We would recommend this house to any of our friends looking to explore the island, and who want to have a home base with plenty of activities for the whole family. It's truly a home away from home and we hope to book again soon!

Very well maintained house with spacious family room, bedrooms and kitchen. Back yard and surrounding gardens are also immaculately groomed and an ideal setting for young children to play games. Our grandchildren loved the jungle gym and swings and also enjoyed playing on their scooters in the court area. We’d never been to Nantucket in the Fall but very much enjoyed walking around the beaches and in town where the crowds were much less congested than during the peak Summer season. A truly wonderful spot and time of year for a family vacation. Thank you!

This house is awesome, especially if you have kids. Lots of great amenities like swingset, pool, and basketball court. The house is very well-maintained and has plenty of space. We stayed for the weekend but wished we could have stayed longer. Close to bike path, beach, and an easy drive to town. The owners were super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in Tom Nevers. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as due to Covid we didn’t take them to any local pools. The home is fully equipped with all the amenities you will need and more! We did use the kitchen a lot and did a little cooking. The home was clean and had spacious rooms. The kids also enjoyed the swing set and if you have bigger kids there is a basket ball hoop which they can enjoy! Everything is nearby by car, the beaches, restaurants etc. Nantucket is gorgeous and we hope to return back next summer!
