Located in Nantucket, this attractive house for $947 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. "Make It So" is a cozy 2 Story Upside-Down Saltbox that sits up on a hill in Tom Nevers East with stunning views, peaceful yard and shade trees. Truly, Away From It All. Peaceful and quiet. Perfect for Families of all ages, Writers, Artists, and anyone looking for solitude. Peaceful yet just minutes away from most everything! Grill on the spacious deck and watch the moon come up over the ocean. "Make It So" has Central Air Conditioning and a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater for endless hot water. Enjoy a hot outdoor shower under the Milky Way. "Make It So" is only 5 miles from Town and incredible Restaurants, Dreamland Movie Theater, Shopping, Museums. We are located close to the Bike Path that will take you everywhere you want to go. Having a Car is suggested. There are 2 levels. You enter on the 1st level into a warm and cozy living room. There is a queen sleeper sofa, recliner and high top table for games, puzzles or snacks. Lots of current paperbacks! There is a Roku Flatscreen TV. There are 3 bedrooms on this level. The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 Bureaus, Closet and shower bathroom. There are sliders leading to a small deck. Second bedroom has a double bed with built in drawers and spacious closet. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, bureau and closet. These 2 guest bedrooms share a hall bathroom with shower/tub combo. There is a stacked Maytag washer and dryer also on 1st floor. Climb the beautiful stairs to the incredible open concept, cathedral ceilinged space which consists of a beautiful sitting area including recliners and loveseat. There is a gorgeous gas fireplace (available for stays in cooler months)with a Google Smart Flat TV. The dining area seats 6 comfortably. The kitchen is a FOODIES dream, outfitted with brand new top of the line appliances including a Danby beverage/wine refrigerator. Tons of storage. There is a 36 inch electric cooktop with downdraft exhaust in the large Quartz top center island. This island seats 4 very comfortably. Kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need to make your stay perfect, including; basic pantry items, an electric kettle, blender, hand mixer, Coffee maker, food processor. There's even a Lobster Pot! Please help yourself to the fresh herbs and spices, teabags etc. There is a 1/2 bath on this level. The views from this level with take your breath away. From the large kitchen window with crank out windows you can see Sankaty Lighthouse, Alter Rock, Tom Nevers Pond, The Moors and Low Beach in Sconset. There are sliders leading to the ocean view deck. Just WOW! There is comfortable outdoor seating and a Teak dining table. There is a Gas Grill. There is an easy approx 8-10 minute walk to the public stairs leading to usually very peaceful Tom Nevers Beach. I have been going to Nantucket since I was a kid, and have stayed all over the island. I’ve never stayed in this location but it was the perfect spot for a getaway with my 3 kids. I wish I could buy this house! The host was wonderful and super helpful, allowing us to stay longer when our flight was canceled. The home was adorable and had beautiful views that you cannot appreciate from the photos. It was very nicely maintained and very comfortable for our family of 5. We took walks to the beach and basically had the beach to ourselves, enjoying the seals and beautiful views. I hope to be back next summer! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful June trip to Nantucket in a wonderful house. House was updated, super clean, great amenities, and in a nice quiet neighborhood that we’ve never visited on the island. Was great to see the ocean right from the elevated deck each day. The owner is super quick to respond. Looking forward to future vacations at this rental!

Make It So is the perfect place for a magical vacation. The home itself is attractive, cozy and feels brand new. The view from both the deck and the open concept kitchen/living room is to die for! From morning coffee to evening wine under the stars, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the wonderful home!

Great Stay!
We had a fantastic week at Make It So! We loved everything about the house, especially the bright upstairs space with beautiful views of the ocean and island. The kitchen was fully outfitted to make meals in on the days we didn't want to drive into town. There is so much to do in Nantucket and this property was the perfect launching pad -- we will be back!

What a wonderful stay at the absolutely best appointed and comfortable VRBO we have ever stayed at . The owner payed such attention to every detail with the house equipped and stocked with everything we would need upon arrival.
The open floor plan with kitchen and living space on the second floor afforded wonderful views with a deck to relax on or dine on.
The house was spotless and so tastefully appointed. We enjoyed the yard area as well.
We couldn’t have had a better experience and plan to return next year .

Lovely stay in pristine home
My family and I stayed at John and Patty’s lovely home in Tom Nevers for a week in August. The home was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies which was much appreciated. We loved the views from the second floor, enjoyed sitting out on the porch and the outdoor shower was a bonus!! Quick trip to beautiful Tom Nevers Beach and also to Sconset. The property manager, Sean, was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway
This is beautiful home in a secluded and peaceful area of Nantucket Island. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable! Lovely views and a beautiful beach just short walk or quick bike ride away. The owners are extremely responsive and considerate. After accidentally leaving behind a personal item, the caretaker of the house was very quick to go to the house and find it and ship it back to me. We were so grateful to be staying in a home that was so well cared for. We very much look back to a return visit!

Wonderful retreat on Nantucket!
This was a wonderful place to stay! It was clean, cozy, and very well-equipped. The view from the second floor living area is wonderful, and all the extras available -- from beach towels and beach chairs to spices and olive oil -- made the whole stay easy and worry-free. It was the perfect vacation spot for our family of 5. John and Patti were wonderful hosts. We hope to stay here again someday!

Excellent house with a magnificent view!
My husband and I rented “Make it So” for a quick getaway with our kids over the 2020 Valentine’s Day/Presidents’ Day holiday weekend.
John & Patti were extremely easy to communicate with. They responded very quickly to any questions and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.
There was ample room for us and our two kids. The house was clean and very well appointed. The view of the ocean was mesmerizing. We would happily rent again!

Absolutely beautiful home in Tom Nevers
We loved everything about this house. We almost don’t want to tell anyone! The open room upstairs was perfect for our family - meals, movies, drinks, gorgeous views, fully stocked kitchen, deck to enjoy for hours. Lower level bedrooms and bathrooms perfect. Sitting area there is a great additional space. Outdoor shower, yard, walk to beach, few mile bike ride to Sconset.... Make It So is amazing. We thank the owners very much for giving us the chance to spend time there!

Beautiful Nantucket home
The views of the ocean and the lighthouse were delightful. We enjoyed walking to the beach off of Wanoma Road-so private it was like we were alone on the island, which was very welcome after a busy day in town. Home was spotlessly clean and fresh, beds clean, and towels plentiful. The kitchen lacked nothing, well supplied and spacious-if it were not a vacation I would have loved cooking more in that amazing space! Living areas upstairs and down accommodated our family of four perfectly. Simply perfect vacation home-we look forward to returning!

Beautiful Nantucket Getaway!
We spent a wonderful week in this completely renovated home tucked away in Tom Nevers. It boasts an adorable yard with a small tree and wooden swings (a big hit with our young children). Upon arrival the property manager was kind and accommodating.
The downstairs has a quiet living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Everything is brand new, including the washer and dryer on the same level. The bedrooms accommodated two adult couples and two children.
The upstairs is lovely! It is a nice open space with a sitting area (with fire place), dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen has a fabulous view with Sankaty Lighthouse in the background. Again, everything is brand new and impeccably clean. This area has a sliding glass door that leads to a nice deck with an outdoor dining area and a grill. The deck has a bird feeder which attracted hundreds of beautiful birds (cardinals, blue jays, chickadees,etc.) during our week. Fun to eat breakfast outside and watch the birds. And if you are up very early the sunrise is stunning.
The home is close to Sconset (enjoy the beach, a visit to Sankaty Lighthouse, a quaint general store, and delicious sandwich shop), Tom Nevers beach, and golf (open to the public and close enough to play a full round after lunch and still be ready to go out to dinner).
The property was very relaxing. Our only worry the entire time was reminding our young kids to be well mannered and to take good care of all the brand new items in the house, which they gladly did because they loved the house as much as we did.
We would certainly stay here again!
