ARBUTUS BLUFF 20% off posted rate in July 2023 Tucked into a bluff with amazing old BC coastal Arbutus trees at the end of the quaint beach community. Totally private, full sun with south facing views to Vancouver Island. Watch the sea lions, otters, cranes from your front steps. Listen to the eagles in the trees. 15 steps to your paddle board or kayak. Gorgeous sunsets over the Trail Islands. Head west for a beach walk into the town of Sechelt for coffee shops, boutiques, movie theatre and other amenities. Kayak east for your morning coffee to the friendly community of Davis Bay. On a summer evening - sit under the stars around our outside and share time around the fire bowl and listen to the gentle lap of the waves on the shore. On a cold winters evening, cozy up to our expansive indoor fireplace and listen to the waves crash on the rocks. Designers kitchen w high end bosche and fisher paykel appliances. Covered patio set between a dramatic rockery and garden for outside dining rain or shine. A master suite off the deck with hot tub underneath the Arbutus trees. We’ve stayed in beautiful accommodations all around the world, and have to say that this place is absolutely stunning, top 5 for sure! It will go down as one of the best stays we had with our family ever. Beautiful home, beautiful location and sitting in the hot tub under the stars was everything. Thanks Peter!

The location was wonderful. Right on the water and a short drive or 20 minute walk to Sechelt.
Very modern new accommodation with everything that you need available. Dishes, pots, kitchen tools as well as a variety of dry goods (spices, oil, etc) fully stocked. Extra pillows, blankets, kitchen towels, etc. stored in and organized on the premises.
Hot tub was working and clean but no tub for a relaxing soak. I knew this going in though.
All of the photos were accurate.

Our stay in Sechelt, BC was fabulous! There is no better view in the area than from this house, and the sound of the water is incredibly relaxing! We’re from Texas, and the low 60 temps were a perfect respite from our 116 degree summer. Be sure to visit Smitty’s Oyster Bar in Gibson’s Landing. Another real gem in the area.

We just returned from a week stay at house at it was great. Very nice location and the house was perfect for a couples get-away.. The view from the hot tub and decks were amazing. Peter was easy to deal with and answered our couple question right away.

Overall the place was great to stay and enjoy. Views live up to the pictures. A few minor issues with the place but nothing that impacted the quality of our stay. Will be back for sure!

Our stay was near perfection - the premises was clean and beautiful and the backdrop was breathtaking. I feel like the calmness of the space and the ability to marry nature with the accommodation really expedited how quickly we were able to settle into and relax in the house. The sound of the waves in the night/morning, the unobscured views of sunsets and the little glimpses of seals in the water were all enjoyed thoroughly by our entire family. We were also pleased that our two year old loved the space and settled quite nicely as well - we were afraid the house wasn't super child-friendly, but she loved it and having all of that space to run around in! We are so glad we took that risk!
The location was also wonderful, very convenient to get around by car to Sechelt and Davis Bay etc., and super private.
Peter was also very responsive and accommodating - ensuring that our stay was top notch. We already looking forward to our next stay!

Spectacular home to stay at. The views are breathtaking and everything you need is provided. Kitchen was stocked. Was so amazing to have the doors open to hear the waves.. it was like you had the calm app constantly on. The hot tub is large and perfect for star gazing. The property is super private and the shower was incredible to watch the views as you showered. The only issue I had were all the doors were a little tricky and different to lock, but Peter eventually got back to me. Definitely coming back.

Each morning when I woke up, I thought I was still dreaming. My first sight was the expanse of ocean, Vancouver Island at the horizon and pink clouds of dawn. What a spectacular place and home! If you do book this house, it will be a dream come true for you too.
To add to others' comments, there are plenty of amenities including shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, laundry soap, spices, paper towels, beach towels, and throw blankets. Manuals to appliances are in a cupboard and utensils are in a hidden second drawer within a bigger drawer. There are 3 of them for silverware, spatulas and wine opener and basic items. It took us awhile to find them!
Highly recommend hikes to Hidden Grove, Pender Hill and half day kayak tour with Half-moon Sea Kayaks. We can't wait to come back!

My wife and I took 3 nights to escape for our anniversary and the Selma Park property was absolutely gorgeous. Well appointed and stunning view were just what we were looking for. Tranquil and modern, comfortable and clean the rental was perfect from start to finish. Location is excellent with a short drive to town and local food spots. Would not hesitate to recommend and we are already looking at dates to return! Thank you!

My wife and I stayed for a week in September, Peter is a fantastic host, very responsive and check in was a breeze.
The house is amazing, stones throw to the waters edge and beautiful ocean views from every room. What the pictures can’t capture though is the ocean sound and breeze that flow through the house when you have the doors open…it just makes for an amazing relaxing experience and is very unique to be that close to the sea.
We cooked in half the time and had everything we needed. It’s either a 5min drive to downtown Sechelt or a straightforward 25 min walk along the coast (avoiding the main road).
We would definitely stay again!!

Amazing House with Mesmerizing Ocean Views
We stayed in this architectural gem for 4 nights and my wife didn't want to leave the property even to go out for dinner. A local grocery less than two minutes away provided to-go meals that we could enjoy while watching dolphins, eagles, blue herons, seals, boats and seaplanes going by. There is a big TV in the living room but we never even turned it on once because the ocean view was so beautiful. The property had everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. The only problem we had was leaving this house to head home - we hope to come back soon.
