This beautifully renovated, spacious flat is in a quiet neighborhood one block north of Golden Gate Park, making your leisure activities very accessible. It features a fully equipped, new, spacious chef's kitchen with granite countertops. There is a comfortable living room with a wood burning fireplace and a 32' flat screen TV. The spacious living room also has a desk, a computer with DSL and a printer. (Wi-Fi is available, as well.) The living room opens to a spacious dining room that seats six. (There are folding chairs available in case of a spontaneous dinner party.) There are 2.5 new marble bathrooms. This apartment is a generous 1550 square feet [172 square meters] Both of the bedrooms have en-suite marble bathrooms, new queen-sized beds, generous closets and lots of storage space. One of the bedrooms has French doors with a balcony over-looking a lovely garden. This is an ideal choice for families. There are two twin sized aero-beds and a porta-crib [with washable cover] for the little ones, as well as a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. It is also perfect for two couples - no need to share a bathroom. The flat is great for corporate short-stays and executive relocation, as well. It is also great for visiting scholars going to UCSF or USF, with easy public transportation access. (5 blocks from the Google shuttle.) There are hardwood floors and radiant heating (in the floor) throughout making the temperature always comfortable. The vacationer or the business traveler will find this property ideal. Golden Gate Park is one block away with the new, acclaimed California Academy of Sciences and the DeYoung Museum. There is easy access north to the Golden Gate Bridge and south to Highway 280. There are two public golf courses nearby. This flat was lovingly and tastefully renovated. We want our guests to be able to enjoy all the thought and care we put into it. We are close by to share our love and knowledge of the city. We recently stayed at Juliette's property for a month and it was the best apartment we've ever rented (and we travel quite a bit). Inside, there was just about every convenience that one could expect. The location was a block from the wonderful Golden Gate Park and walking distance close to several restaurants and shops. The Safeway was about 0.6 miles away. Public transportation was also close at hand and we used it frequently. The area was quiet, despite being within the geographic confines of the City and close to Park Presidio Boulevard, a major thoroughfare. Finally, Juliette was wonderful as a host, providing helpful information throughout and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this property!

We stayed in this flat for 3 months and had a wonderful time. Juliette was an extremely responsive and gracious host. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was fantastic, a cook's dream kitchen. There was a small enclosed backyard, quite peaceful when the sun came out. The flat was situated in a quiet neighborhood, only a few blocks from Golden Gate Park and bus stops. There were many nearby Geary and Clement Street restaurants all within walking distance. Parking was tricky, but we could always find something no more than a block away. All in all it was great experience staying in this flat. - CH

Juliette is the perfect host. This space is so thoughtfully appointed to be comfortable for long stays. The kitchen as well equipped as our home. We loved the privacy of the two mini apartments within the apartments. The photos are accurate. Juliette is a kind, attentive, responsive host. We will be back.

This was a wonderful experience. We walked almost daily to every corner of Golden Gate Park, or to the Presidio, and to Lands End. We found a Boudins Bakery on Geary and walked to Safeway just nine blocks away. The house is beautiful and classic. Highly recommend this property.

The apartment is perfect. It’s a 2-bed, 2.5 bath with plenty of light and a fabulous kitchen and dining room. The bedroom set-up was very convenient - each one has an attached bath. This worked out well as we had family come stay with us to help with my wife’s recovery and they had their own little space while they were here. The bedroom we used as the primary has a small balcony which overlooks the backyard - we enjoyed being able to step out each morning to start the day! And, on nice days, it was convenient to be able to head into the backyard and sit in the sunshine.
The living room is so inviting - it has a fireplace and plenty of places to sit. My wife spent a lot of time on the couch reading while I worked at the small desk in the living room that I turned into my workspace. The apartment even has a printer in case you need it.
In the past, we’ve been skeptical when hosts say their kitchen is “well-stocked.” In this case, it’s true. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need - an upgraded range and oven, a toaster oven, coffee machine, kettle, and all kinds of cooking utensils and flatware. I was surprised to find a cast iron skillet, a food processor, and even a rice-maker! I felt like I was in my own kitchen and being able to cook (something I love to do) helped bring a sense of normalcy to our lives.
The house has speedy internet and DirecTv (TVs in the living room and bedrooms), so whether you like traditional or streaming entertainment, you’re set. The last thing I’ll mention about the property is its great location. You are a couple of blocks from Golden Gate Park (SF’s version of Central Park or Hyde Park) and close to Irving and Geary Streets, both of which have a lot of restaurants.
Juliette, who hosts the property, is one of the most thoughtful and caring people we’ve met. She (and her friendly dog Molly) was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. On our first day, she came down to show us how to get into the apartment (keypad) and we connected right away. We ended up chatting with her for about ½ an hour! When the in-unit washer broke, she kindly offered to let us use her washer in the interim. This was really helpful because we were doing laundry daily as part of my wife’s recovery

The apartment was clean, convenient and well equipped. We used to live in SF and really enjoyed this visit as tourists. We especially enjoyed visiting Golden Gate Park. Juliette was very responsive and easy to work with.

Great condo near Golden Gate Park
Spacious, well-appointed condo steps from the park was perfect for our four-week stay. Two ensuite bedrooms, walk-in closets, and a powder room easily accomodated two couples or a family group. The property was updated with a full-sized kitchen, fully equiped with any gadget or appliance needed, as well as W/D. We enjoyed cool mornings and evenings by the beautifully tiled fireplace. This condo embodies the charming historical architecture for which SF is famous, with custom moldings and details in combination with every modern need! Our hostess was gracious and helpful in intoducing us to her beautiful city. Highly recommended!

Lovely, spacious flat in a great location!
Apartment is in a convenient location super close to Golden Gate Park, the Presidio and yet surprising quiet. Very comfortable with everything one needs - soft sheets, warm duvets, fast WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Even a beautiful backyard oasis.

This place is a GEM!
I never expected this property to be as great as it was! Two en suite bedrooms with plenty of closet space and cable tv in each, big kitchen with all the necessities and conveniences, including washer & dryer, big livingroom and diningroom,, convenient parking, fabulous quiet & safe location near Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, the Golden Gate Bridge, beaches, golf, public transportation, and very accessible to the downtown areas & piers.
The flat was very well maintained, and Juliet (wonderful host) & Molly (her very sweet dog) were always available for questions, information , or just a pleasant visit and conversation.
Please don't hesitate to confirm your reservation on this one, as the secret will ultimately get out and you may regret any delay.

Great, comfortable home in an amazing location
We stayed with Juliette for 2.5 months in 2017/2018 and loved it. The location is incredible, especially if you have kids—it's less than a block to Golden Gate Park, a few blocks to the Presidio and an easy walk to the beach. We didn't know much about the area before we stayed there and imagine it's not on many tourists' radars, but we'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting SF in the future. There's great coffee within a couple of blocks and some really great food in the neighborhood, too.
The home itself it super comfortable—we found it very spacious for three adults and a newborn baby. Having 2.5 bathrooms was fab. Other highlights included the master bedroom wardrobe and bathroom, and a very large and well-equipped kitchen. Juliette is lovely and a wonderful host; on a couple of occasions our appliances stopped working and she had them fixed straight away.
One very minor nit: the entrance to the garage is very narrow, so we had some trouble driving in and out before we became used to it.

A wonderful spacious flat in a great location
My wife and I rented this flat for visiting family following the birth of our son. We liked it so much we ended up staying there too, even though our apartment was twelve blocks away. It felt like home, and we were sad to leave.

Wonderful, spacious, and clean apartment in the perfect location.
My parents stayed at Juliette's apartment for the month. They were very comfortable there. Juliette was incredibly helpful in getting them set up and was communicative throughout the month--checking in to make sure everything was okay.
The rooms were very comfortable with en suite bathrooms in each. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were very big and clean, which provided a great place for them to eat and hang out.
Juliette was a great host and we felt very welcome in the apartment. She met us there when my parents arrived and was very easy to get in touch with if we had any questions or needed anything.
I would highly recommend Juliette's apartment as a great place to stay in San Francisco. The Richmond location is perfect (steps from the park) and the apartment itself is lovely.

Beautiful house by the Park for Thanksgiving!
We had a lovey family Thanksgiving . Our adult children and their friends all traveled for the occasion.We cooked on Thanksgiving in the professionally equipped kitchen. The home has plenty of natural light and is wonderfully cozy with heated floors. This home is so close to museums, park trails, and events. Thank you Juliette and Molly we enjoyed your hospitality.

Excellent location near Golden Gate Park
Had a meetup with the parents in San Francisco, and this apartment was a great home base. We walked to the park for the DeYoung and the Japanese Garden. Buses and Uber were convenient. If using the bus to come from SFO via BART, consider the 28 from Daly City because that is the start of the line, and you should have no problem getting a seat on the bus. Also, we used the Caviar app to have food delivered. (Delfina's Pizza was amazing!) Our trip coincided with the World Series, and we were ever so grateful for the DVR. Molly is such a great dog! The only negative is that it would have been nice to know the garbage schedule. It was frustrating to lug the trash downstairs, only to find that the garbage then had to be hauled back upstairs and outside! (Also since cleaning eggs, etc off of stainless is such a pain, I have to say that a dish brush would be a great idea for the kitchen.) Thanks again, Juliette!

A wonderful home away from home in San Francisco
My husband and I wanted to host friends from England, with whom we shared a lovely week in Somerset, and were very pleased that we chose Juliette's flat in the Golden Gate Park area. It is beautiful and the furnishings are of high quality. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner (we did some of each). Both bedrooms are very comfortable with the master bedroom especially roomy (great closet space). The only problem we encountered was parking, because the spaces on 15th are usually taken and are very small due to the many driveways. We were able to park on 14th and that worked all right, except that the morning when they do street cleaning we were 8 minutes late in moving the car and received a $71 ticket. All in all we had a lovely stay, and we enjoyed many of the City's attractions despite some unexpected showers. Having Golden Gate Park so close by is a real bonus. We recommend this VRBO location highly.

This property is absolutely beautiful. It is decorated very nice. Clean and spacious; well appointed.
The owner is easy to get ahold of and is available on site (upstairs).
I took away one star because there is not a lot of restaurants within close waking distance, otherwise, it would be 5 star. It is in a lovely neighborhood, however, close to the park and easy to get an Uber/Lyft. I would definitely stay here again.

A very nice apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautifully decorated and well kitted out. The Owners have even provided a computer with internet connection and a printer. Car parking is on street and the property is close to public transport routes.

Outstanding Visit
This 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. Great location and easy to get to. We were only 20 min by Uber to Pier 39 which we spent most of our time. The apartment was as described, spotless and the kind of place you hope you get when you book your stay. The biggest asset is the owner Juliette. She was very quick in all her responses to questions and she is also very flexible. She allowed us to drop our bags at the house early because our flights came in early and she allowed us to stay late after checkout time because we had a 1030pm flight. It was so great to be able to relax in her apartment instead of having to stay at the airport for 10 hours waiting for our flight. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We had such an enjoyable stay in SF. Thank you Juliette for your personal touch that made a huge difference in our stay!!

Clean well appointed flat.
We arrived on the Saturday evening for our five day stay. We were very excited to stay at the apartment seeing as we had been travelling through California coming up from L.A having stayed in five hotels along the way, this was our last stop. It is our first experience renting a property on VRBO. The property is very spacious .It has been recently renovated the bathrooms are stocked with everything that you need, hairdryer, shampoo, clean towels. The beds are very comfortable with fresh linens and soft pillows. There is a sofa bed in the living room which is quite comfortable for a child to sleep on, however the noise from the street is quiet loud. The kitchen is stocked with an abundance of dishes , pot and pans and there is even some basic necessities such as coffee, sugar , dry goods. I would give the overall cleanliness a Five on Five. Location wise it is close to Golden Gate Bridge Park, and a fifteen minute drive to most areas of San Francisco.
Parking is not easy to find on the street , but a block or two away so that was not an issue. After reading this review you maybe wondering why I only gave this flat a three star rating ? Well, after settling in on the Saturday night and finally enjoying the space of a flat and not a hotel we were woken up at 6.30 a.m with the sound of footsteps overhead of the owner and her dog, this went on for at least two hours, constant back and forth walking in the bedroom above us, the dog scraping the floor either to find a spot to sit down or running up and down the hallway, he is a large dog and therefore makes quite a bit of noise. The next day I met the owner Juliette , a very nice woman who asked us how everything was and I told her that everything is wonderful except that we were all woken up with the constant footsteps of her and the dog and would she be able to walk more quietly and perhaps not make the dog walk around the bedroom early in the morning.
She informed me that she had to remove the rugs because of her cat and therefore she cannot help the noise. I hoped however that she could be a bit quieter the next morning. The next morning we woken up again at 6:30 with constant walking for two hours and this continued everyday. Even if you are a heavy sleeper you would be woken up by the noise , after sightseeing everyday we were tired! It was very unfortunate, it ruined our experience. Note to the owner- please make an effort to keep the noise level down as guests are on vacation !

Beautiful home in a beautiful location
My family could not be more impressed with our gracious host and her home. The residence was pristine and well appointed. Just one block north of Golden Gate Park, the residence provides easy walking access to all that the parks has to offer. Having access to a computer with internet access made planning trips and daily activities simple and convenient. And just as a testament to the host's generosity and attention to her guest needs, our host mailed a pair of gym shoes that we left behind to our residence. The shoes arrived at our house before we did. Thanks again Juliette.

Beautifully renovated, it is a house you'd want to live in forever, not just for a long weekend: beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, nice sized common areas, washer/dryer, short walk to golden gate park, soft towels, outdoor patio, wifi, super comfy beds, roman shades, dimmer switches, heated floors, walk in closets...seriously, stop wasting time searching. Everything was well maintained and I've never stayed in a VRBO with such a well stocked kitchen! Besides the kitchen the unit is beautiful. Traveling with children the washer/dryer was a BIG plus! Juliette was a very gracious owner and neighbor. We hope to visit again.

This renovated flat was an excellent choice for our stay in San Francisco. The duplex was perfect and fit our needs to a "T." Everything was spotless. The furniture comfortable and up to date. The kitchen was a focal point for cooking and getting together. The duplex is centrally located and an easy start-out point for Napa, viewing redwoods, Fisherman's Warf, Alcatraz and much more. Golden Gate Park is right next door. The owners were very helpful and could not have been more accommodating. I would certainly return to this welcoming location and highly recommend!

We stayed in this flat for 4 days and it was perfect! I am very picky and I have rented many vrbos in San Francisco over the past 5 years. This is the nicest VRBO rental that we have stayed in . It is very clean and everything is well maintained. Juliette takes very good care of the flat. Location is great and parking was fairly easy. We will be back!

This flat was an excellent choice for our one-week stay in San Francisco during Spring break. Property matches the description and photos--very neat, clean, and furnished with all the amenities and appliances for great comfort. Good location and within walking distance to a nice children's playground and the Golden Gate Park. We had a rental car and did not have any problems finding parking close by. Juliette was a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to staying at the property again next time we are in San Francisco!

This flat worked very well for a long week-end getaway with friends. We chose it due to the proximity to the University of San Francisco. Property was just as pictures portrayed - but even better. Newly renovated with high end appliances, dishes, pots/pans. Within a block of Golden Gate Park. Within walking distance and centrally located to many restaurants and an easy drive anywhere else in city. Furnished with everything you would ever need. Comfortable bed. As with most places in San Francisco, there was a short flight of stairs to the unit but still super easy. Juliette was a pleasure to work with from the first contact to the final departure. Parking is on-street so you need to pay attention to the parking signs. We never experienced any issues finding a spot close.
