About this condo rental
We have just finished renovating this condo....new kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring....complete renovation! Cayman Reef offers the best value on Seven Mile Beach. Our condo is FULLY stocked. Walk in and enjoy your visit to beautiful Cayman. Our condo is located at Cayman Reef Resort in the heart of the action on Seven Mile Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. The condo itself is located between the beach and the pool and you will enjoy beautiful views and amazing sunsets from the living room and its patio. The Resort boasts a pool, a lighted tennis court, and plenty of green space. There is a new King size bed in the bedroom as well as a queen size sofa bed in the living room. There are flat screen TVs in both the living room and the bedroom and WIFI internet throughout the unit. We also have a phone with unlimited calls to Canada and the US and have a local cell phone for you to use during your visit. We have paid attention to detail to ensure that you feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basics as well as some nice extras such as a coffee maker, set of wine glasses, serving dishes and knife block to name just a few. We have a Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress and added high quality Ralph Lauren bedding and towels to ensure you are comfortable in all aspects. We have the same Pacific Coast pillows on our bed as your find in five star hotels. We also want you and your valuables to feel secure so you will find a safe in the condo. The bathroom has been recently renovated and has a spacious, walk-in shower. We are on a beautiful, wide section of Seven Mile Beach close to all amenities. Enjoy snorkeling directly in front of the complex and easy access to all other watersports (jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, kayaking, etc) a short walk away at the Royal Palms beach bar. A visit to Cayman isn't complete without a visit to Stingray City. Tour operators will pick you up at the condo to take you to Stingray City or Scuba Diving. Also within walking distance is Cayman's newest development, Camana Bay, where you will find the cinema, shops, restaurants and a nice treat of ice cream or frozen yogurt. Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town. Cayman Reef Resort is located in the heart of the action with too many restaurants and bars within walking distance to name. You will also find a great variety with many options in both casual, good value dining as well as high end dining. As for essentials, there are two supermarkets about a 15 minute walk away (in opposite directions), a wine/spirits/beer store across the road, and an ATM also across the street. Hopefully not necessary, but there is a medical clinic at Camana Bay which is a 10 minute walk. Cars are driven on the left side of the road in Cayman which can be daunting to many North Americans. There are plenty of options for car rentals but most visitors choose not to rent a car and walk to most attractions or catch the bus. As we live in the same complex, we offer you the additional benefit of being close by should you need anything. We include a welcome package of some of our favorite things to do on-island and where to find all of the necessities. We are also able to arrange babysitting should you require such services. We purchased this condo in 2012 and really hope that you will enjoy Cayman and the Cayman Reef Resort as much as we do! This is our second time staying here. It’s in a great location to walk to various food and shopping establishments and you can’t beat the quiet beach! We will be coming back again!

I cant say enough about this condo and the beauty of Seven Mile Beach! My wife and I came down to celebrate our anniversary. First off, the communication with Trinda was excellent! She not only had all kinds of recommendations for us while on the island, but was available within minutes for the one issue I needed her for during the week. The condo was as advertised and immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked and had all we needed to make some meals during the week. We ate out most of time as there are too many incredible restaurants to count. And the beach! WOW! From relaxing and reading a book to snorkeling or watching the amazing sunset, it was about as perfect as it could be. If you are thinking about coming down to Grand Cayman, look no further than this condo. You will not be disappointed!

This property was perfect for the 2 of us. We walked to great restaurants, walked the beach everyday, and watched amazing sunsets from the beach at the resort. Trina was an attentive host and made everything so easy for us. She provided a nice bottle of wine upon arrival which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful time in Grand Cayman. This unit was perfect for us. Morning coffee on veranda with beautiful view of the Caribbean…steps to beach…steps to pool….short walk to restaurants, shopping, or any other service needed for to make for a great vacation.

The condo is in a very convenient location.
It’s close to restaurants and you can catch a bus right outside the condo on the street to go go practically anywhere.

This place is awesome! It's fully equipped and in the most perfect location! We felt at home as soon as we arrived! The photos reflect the reality. Trinda is so incredibly attentive! We simply cannot have asked for a better location, stay and host!

We spent six nights at Cayman Reef Resort and it was PERFECT! Trinda could not have been more responsive and she had everything ready for us when we arrived. The unit was spacious, clean, and bright with all appliances in great shape. Lots of little extras made for a fabulous stay. We were literally just steps from the pool and the beach, with close access to lots of shopping (Camana Bay is the best!), supplies, and restaurants. Staff on property (particularly Hal) were friendly and we always felt safe. We'll be back!!

Camana Bay shopping area is a 10 minute walk away and it has restaurants and a big grocery store and a Starbucks. There are restaurants and a dive shop shop across the street and Rubi's gas station is just a 3 min walk and has milk, bread and basic stuff. There are beach chairs with umbrellas and small tables available in the sand and a couple of tables with chairs up on the top of the wall. The only minor drawback to the location is that the south end of Seven Mile Beach is not as wide as it is farther north so if you want a wide expanse of sand you have to walk for 5 minutes. Next time we come to Geand Cayman we'll try to stay in the same condo.

I need to start by saying that Trinda, condo owner and property manager, tried to make this rental right by providing a substantial discount -- after we left. Unfortunately there were a few big problems. Most egregious: two days before our trip, Trinda notified me that she forgot to tell us that there was work scheduled on the building that our ground floor rental was located in and she needed to move us to another condo in a different building. Trinda offered our choice of a larger unit on the second floor (unacceptable as my husband is recovering from hip surgery) or a mirror image unit on the ground floor. While the floor plan of the substitute unit was basically the same, the replacement unit was not as nicely furnished and certainly not "newly renovated" or "well-stocked." (For example, blinds were missing or not in working condition, the single closet was so full it was not possible to hang anything in it, the dishwasher was unusable because the sealer around the door was unattached, interior doors were difficult to open/close, etc..) The resort property itself was pretty and well maintained - although looking at a fumigation tent for several days detracted from the view. I did not actually speak with Trinda during our stay although I did both call and text the contact number provided. All in all, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay on one of our favorite islands. It just wasn't what we had initially paid for, planned for and expected , or what our previous VRBO rentals have been like. I would like to believe that this experience was a unique and unfortunate occurrence. (On a positive note, VRBO has already provided the manager-initiated discount.)

This property is exactly as detailed. The location is perfect if you don’t want to have a car. The beach is beautiful- the water is amazing. Bring your snorkel for the water right in front of you! There is a liquor store across the street and the grocery store is only a 10 min walk. There are all kinds of shops and restaurants within a 5/10 min walk.
The host is very responsive and went above and beyond for us. We will be back!

The perfect Cayman location!
This property is exactly as detailed. The location is perfect if you don’t want to have a car. The beach is beautiful- the water is amazing. Bring your snorkel for the water right in front of you! There is a liquor store across the street and the grocery store is only a 10 min walk. There are all kinds of shops and restaurants within a 5/10 min walk.
The host is very responsive and went above and beyond for us. We will be back!

We stayed at Unit 17 at Cayman Reef Resort and couldn't have picked a better place. The unit is just like shown in the pictures and for us was not lacking in anything that we needed. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable and enough towels for the 2 of us for the week. Didn't use the Washer and dryer so can't comment on those. Trinda was great to work with and responsive. Would definitely stay here if we return to Grand Cayman. This unit was close to the beach.

Love, love love to stay here! The remodel is really beautiful and Trinda supplies so many things that you need. The condo was spotless! I really appreciate the free phone calls to the USA so we don't have to worry about family contacting us. We have been here at least 5 years in a row and that would not happen if we had any issues. Trinda is always available if you need her. We love Trinda's condos at Cayman Reef Resort!!

Awesome Stay
This is the resort to stay at. I came with my wife and 5 month old baby and it was the perfect place to stay. Everything we needed was in the condo with the beach being only 20 steps away. It was quiet and so peaceful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Trinda.

A Great Vacation
Our stay at #17 was great! It was exactly as advertised. I try to do my homework in all aspects that are important to ME on a vacation before I book and I was not disappointed. One of our big prerequisites is cleanliness and this condo did not disappoint. Another is communication and the owners always responded in a timely fashion and were very considerate and helpful. We loved the welcoming basket, especially the bottle of wine which I think was opened within the first 30 minutes of arrival! The condo was just perfect for two people... more than big enough. The location is great also; close enough to different resorts to visit restaurants and different amenities but far enough away to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle. And... the ocean. Another priority. You can’t forget about that because it is right at your doorstep. Such a long beautiful stretch of sand for walking or just visiting beach bars and restaurants along the way. There was never a problem getting a chair or umbrella and we were never bothered by the cruise people that were further down on the beach on certain days or music coming from the Royal Palm.
We also loved that the owners had a binder on the coffee table to give instructions on EVERYTHING. So, make sure you read that first. You’ll have no difficulty turning the tv on, (which by the way you need a PhD to do now no matter what country you’re living in!), hailing a bus or ordering a pizza to be delivered! They have thought of everything! It reminded my husband and I of ourselves. We loved the screened in patio area and we ate out there several evenings. Don’t forget that the grocery and liquor stores are not open on Sunday so plan accordingly. We love Grand Cayman. We have already booked for next year. The people are very friendly and you can choose to do nothing or everything! Life is too short, what are you waiting for? 😉�

Great condo and location
The property was clean and well maintained. And recently renovated. Walkout to seven mile beach a few steps away. Welcome bottle of wine and cake was a nice touch . Very pleased.

It was a lovely and very affordable spot to stay!
First we had the most spectacular spot to see sunsets! The beach was great! Always found an umbrella and chairs. Our unit was clean and had anything we needed in the fully stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the TVs were very new and had many channels. Washer and dryer nice to go home with clean clothes. Bath slightly small but the shower was very nice. Had extras such as beach towels, cooler and float for pool. Had a welcome package from Trinda which was really nice! There was no screen on the patio but really not a major issue. Loved that we didn’t need a key, key punch was great. Didn’t rent a car and walked most places and if taxi needed came right to the unit. City bus also available. Everyone was very nice! Loved Cayman Island and Cayman Reef Resort!!

The perfect place for a Cayman Vacation!!!
Cayman Reef Resort is the perfect place for a Cayman Vacation. Our condo was very comfortable, had all the amenities including a full kitchen, oven/stove, microwave oven,
refridgerator and dishwasher. A very comfortable living room with a large screen satellite TV plus a kindle and telephone access back to the US. Central Air Conditioning keeps the condo cool and comfortable. We also had a nice sized bathroom with shower plus a washer and dryer which is perfect for bringing less clothes with you plus you can dry your bathing suits and towels for the next beach visit.
The beach is just a small stroll with sandy white beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas to protect you from the sun. If you like water sports they are offered two properties away at the Royal Palms Beach Club plus they have a nice bar and restaurant. There's a parking spot for your car should you rent one plus the complex is patrolled by security personnel. If you are a couple or small or large family this is the place to stay on Grand Cayman Island.

We have stayed in Trinda's condo several years now and she has always been a great host. We recently wanted a last minute trip and Trinda made accommodations for us. The recent renovations are spot on and the location is fantastic.
