Situated in Telluride, this charming house for $853 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. As charming as its name implies, Prospect Falls is a captivating log cabin with lots of luxurious touches. With four bedrooms and 4,000 square feet of living space, there’s room for 10 at this Mountain Village home. Located in the coveted Tristant development, guests of Prospect Falls will have easy access to some of the best ski slopes in the country and stunning Rocky Mountain views. The GREAT ROOM at Prospect Falls is surrounded by authentic log cabin walls and stone details. A crackling fireplace on one wall anchors the living space and provides just the right dash of coziness to those chilly Colorado evenings. There’s a velvety soft sofa, armchairs, and an HDTV for kicking back and relaxing with a good movie and a glass of wine. Next to the living area is the custom KITCHEN, complete with white beadboard cabinets and exquisite soapstone countertops. A tired bar provides casual seating for four, while a nearby DINING AREA has seating for six more. A massive Viking gas range and vent hood stand in the center of the kitchen, and there’s also a spacious paneled refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher too. From pot roast to pancakes, this kitchen is equipped to handle anything you desire. The first of four bedrooms is the PRIMARY SUITE— located on the top level of the home and featuring a sumptuous king-size bed, vaulted ceilings, an HDTV, and an adorable potbelly stove in the corner. The ENSUITE BATHROOM includes a freestanding tub and a separate shower. There’s also a dedicated office space for completing remote work or school projects. On a lower level, there are TWO ADDITIONAL GUEST BEDROOM SUITES, each with a split king-size bed, HDTV, and ENSUITE FULL BATHROOMS. These two bedrooms also share easy access to a SECONDARY LIVING SPACE with a comfy sofa and HDTV. The final GUEST BEDROOM is a super-spacious, camp-like bunk room with two full-over-full-size bunk beds, a ping pong table, a pool table, an HDTV with an X-Box, and an ENSUITE BATHROOM. French doors open up to reveal a covered DECK with lots of lounging space and a relaxing HOT TUB. This home also includes a LAUNDRY ROOM with a full-size washer and dryer. Located in an exclusive Mountain Village community, Prospect Falls gives you easy access to some premier ski slopes and hiking trails. You’ll also be close to the village core for shopping and dining, and not far from the gondola for a trip into Telluride. We stayed here for 2 weeks with our 4 boys and it was great. We've been to Telluride many times and this is one of our favorite spots. There was plenty of living space and the downstairs playroom was exactly as shown. The location was the real highlight. We could walk out the door and be in the core area in a little over 10 minutes. Our boys did a lot of mountain biking in the park, and the Village trail comes just past the condo, so it's an easy way to finish the day. The porch has great views. There are some trees in front since it's on the front row, but it helps keep it private and the trees don't really block the view of the range. We will be back!

Nine adult friends shared this property for a first visit to Telluride. The house was welll-appointed and maintained. Great access to all Telluride has to offer. The great room and kitchen offered beautiful views and a warm shared space alibg with a big table for dinner and games. There are lots of stairs. Bedrooms are all very nice. (Three shared the basement beds.)

The house was very spacious and well appointed. The two boys - 9 and 12 yo - appreciated the downstairs game room. The adults appreciated the roomy bedrooms, comfortable living areas, and the views. An excellent property and an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful and accommodating property with beautiful views of the mountains!
We stayed at this property for a week of skiing with our adult children and their spouses. Everything was spotless, well thought-out and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped nicely for cooking and serving meals for 6-8, which we did for many of the meals while we were there.
The beautiful views from the living room and dining room table were absolutely amazing and we all spent a lot of time enjoying them!
The lower level recreation room and hot tub were also enthusiastically enjoyed by all!
Easy access and proximity to the slopes, gondolas and Marketplace were extremely convenient and allowed us to spend more time enjoying the surroundings and less time in the car.
I would highly recommend this property for an amazing stay in the Mountain Village/Telluride area!

The road to the house was also quite icy (and slippery to walk on without sidewalks) considering there hadn't been snow in 2-3 weeks.
Anyway, I highly recommend. If I ever go back with the same size group, I'd certainly target this one.

House was exactly as advertised and the management company was very easy to work with. Only complaint was the radiate heat made a lot of noise in the master @ night, so much so that we didn’t use that room. Other than that, everything was perfect

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I WAS SURPRISED BY HOW MUCH BETTER THE HOUSE LOOKS AND IS IN PERSON. WE HAD A FEW MINOR FIXES BUT THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND HANDLED EVERYTHING IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE PROPERTY IS IN A GREAT LOCATION - EASY ACCESS TO THE LOCAL MARKET AND GONDOLA, SKI IN AND OUT CLOSE BY, AND TELLURIDE SKI RESORT IS VERY CLOSE TOO. AND THE VIEWS ARE BEAUTIFUL - WAKING UP TO THE BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS OUTSIDE YOUR BEDROOM WINDOWS WAS BREATHTAKINGLY AWESOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AND WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

There is also a small creek that runs behind the house which sounds so peaceful at night with the windows open. The house is ideally situated within walking distance (if you're comfortable walking up/down a short, fairly steep grassy hill) of the gondola, which makes a car almost unnecessary. The playroom on the bottom floor completely wowed our kids. The kitchen was perfect for the family meals we enjoyed at home, and it was really nice having a grill as well. Guests should be aware that there are a significant amount of stairs in the house, so probably not ideal for anyone who has trouble getting up and down stairs. Otherwise, an amazing house. Will try to book next summer...maybe for longer!

No hot water
Beautiful place, as advertised and and wonderfully appointed. We did not have hot water for the first 2 days. Called the property mngmt, left a VM and and had to call back the following morning as I did not hear back. Plumber came to "fix" the issue promptly, however we still did not have hot water. Hopefully its good for the next renters.

July 2017 Stay
We rented this property for the week of our daughter's wedding. The home exceeded our expectations. Spacious, nicely decorated and background was beautiful for the pre-wedding pictures. Easy walk to gondolas and the van pickup was convenient. Perfect for a large family or several families with kids. Can't wait to return!

5-10 minute walk into Heritage Village from our place. Dedicated ski run and short walking path back to the unit from the Village Bypass run. Unit was well appointed , with plenty of room for all.
