About this house rental
Nestled in Bolinas, this charming house for $750 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Beautiful setting with rustic elegance: a newly remodeled two-bedroom guesthouse. Master includes king size and twin bed, en suite bathroom with shower. Guest room includes queen bed, private bath with tub. State of the art kitchen with all amenities, Viking gas stove, cutlery and crockery, pantry, laundry, modern appliances with toaster oven and microwave, Nespresso, French press and drip coffee makers, separate teapot. Large open living/dining room with full sea views, wood-burning fireplace, Sonos sound system, flat screen TV, internet (not always high speed). The views are of the pacific, the Bolinas lagoon and Mountain ridge, Stinson Beach along the coast to San Francisco. Inner courtyard with comfortable outdoor furniture allows for relaxing or reading--all to the sound of waves crashing on the beach below. Hot tub and garden gym accessible with prior arrangement. This is one of the most beautifully situated ocean bluff properties in Bolinas----a town rich in character and history within walking distance of everything you need. You can watch the sunrise from the house or sit out on "the perch" to watch the surfers and seals below, or the ships in the distance on their way to and from San Francisco. Hawks, egrets, and blue herons are common sights as are deer and fox. Beachcombers walk the beaches below. Thousands of acres of protected open space surround Bolinas. The garden surrounding the house includes a badminton court, flowers, fruit trees and a trampoline with places to walk and sit. The beach and town are a short walk and a 24-hour organic produce stand is a long walk or short drive from the house, operating on the honor system. This unique village with its small population, museum, library, crafts, fishing boats, fresh catch, and surfing, is a little bit of a bohemian paradise within an hour of San Francisco. Accessible via highway 1, with Point Reyes to the north, and Stinson Beach to the south, perfectly situated for a relaxing, unique holiday removed from the action of city life. One week minimum.

The beauty of the location is completely matched by the beauty, location and comfort of the home. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house has everything you need or could want. I was at home the moment i arrived. Did i mention the location is perfect?

We truly loved our week here. Nearly everything that we expected from the house turned out to be better than we expected. Comfortable beds, top of the line everything, but most of all one of the most enchanting locations imaginable.

Relaxing get away
We had a lovely visit to Sid and Nancy’s house. The photos don’t fully show how majestic the view is. The garden is heavenly and our kids loved the trampoline and badminton court. The house is perfectly laid out for a group of four. We all had space to spread out and read or enjoy the view. The kitchen was perfect for cooking several meals. We loved

A sweet charming residence with an award winning view. Very peaceful. The property is well kept, very nice, comfortable and clean... no surprises. We spent three weeks here and enjoyed every moment. It was our third stay at the property and certainly hope to visit again.

Perfect escape to Bolinas
The house is lovely-it was beautiful but also so thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. The owners are kind, generous people and were responsive and so considerate in every way. This is not just a nicely appointed rental-it is a house that Nancy has infused with love and stunning attention to detail. Mark, the property manager was always available and also very concerned with out privacy and to help with whatever we needed to figure out. We will absolutely be returning as soon as possible.

A beautiful house with a stunning setting
A nicely designed and decorated house situated in a beautiful garden on a bluff with glorious views of the Pacific, Stimson Beach and the Marin Headlands. Cut flowers and freshly-baked bread welcomed us. We would love to rent again soon.

Idyllic setting
From the parking lot to the patio, this house is perfect!
During our one week stay we enjoyed stunning views, designer decor, and a gourmet kitchen where my husband prepared the best Thanksgiving dinner we’ve had in years. The badminton court, hammock and giant chair were a surprise bonus. We enjoyed them all.
As private as the location feels, it was just a short walk to town or the beach.
Thank you to Nancy, Sid and David for a Thanksgiving week we will never forget.

The furnishings and expansive kitchen are impressive as well as beautiful in every respect. The large garden was a delight. David supported us in with our requests, at all times. Everything was perfect down to the last detail

Bolinas Blue is an exceptional dreamy home with everything you possibly want or need to get away.
We travel a bit and always seek to rent homes when we do. I can unequivocally say this was the most fantastic home (and experience renting a vacation home) we have ever visited. Prior to our arrival, the correspondence with the home owner was prompt, professional, and polite. In the days leading up to our arrival, the property manager was responsive and informative. And Bolinas Blue....wow. Amazing. This extraordinary well kept home and property is gorgeously situated on a bluff overlooking the entrance to the Bolinas lagoon, an incredible view of the entire crescent of Stinson Beach, and the night time twinkles of SF from the huge picture windows of the living room.The house was so tastefully adorned, serene, spacious, and really comfortable. The thoughtful amenities, from the entertainment to utensils, were all top quality. The kitchen offered every possible cooking/dining convience imaginable. Bedrooms, bedding, bathrooms (heated floors), all impressive and comfortable. We hosted my wife's parents for five nights and this wonderful home had the space to accommodate everyone's needs, while also providing opportunities for privacy when desired. It was a pleasure and real privilege to have had the opportunity to stay at this uncommon and exceptional home. A heartfelt and genuine thank you to our hosts - we hope to be back!

Spectacular Property; Gracious Host; Perfect Stay
Bolinas Blue is an amazing property. It is a two bedroom house that sits on top of a bluff overlooking the crescent beach cove below. The house is meticulous with comfortable, top line furnishings and a gourmet kitchen. It has an amazing living room with floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the waters. It does not have direct beach access and is a short walk into town. Climbing the hill may be a struggle for those with impairments. While we loved exploring the area, we could not wait to return "home" to hang out, read or sit in the backyard with cheeses and wine. JC, the property manager, is great. I initially thought the cost was high for the area -- until we arrived. Bolinas Blue is well worth the price and our family can't wait to return.
