Located in Flagstaff, this charming house for $325 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The Grand Canyon Riverhouse is conveniently located just outside of downtown Flagstaff in a rural neighborhood within a 7 minute drive to the downtown. There is a trail from the neighborhood that connects all neighbors to the Arizona Trail Wilderness where deep canyons, and wildlife thrive. Many times a year Elk roam through the neighborhood. The Cross Country skiing out the back of the neighborhood and on the AZ Trail is incredible. Consequently the Mountain Biking is world class:) Also within minutes is Lake Mary among other lakes where one can fish, view wildlife like Elk, Bald Eagles, Osprey and Blue Herons. A few of the other lakes nearby are Ashurst, Mormon Lake, Kinnikinnic, and Blue Ridge Reservoir. We rent out canoes, sit on top kayaks, and stand up paddle boards if you would like to spend a day on one of the mountain lakes. The AZ Trail also links to the downtown area:), for great dining and entertainment. We highly suggest visiting the Musuem of Northern AZ, AZ Snowbowl Skiing, Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Sedona, and of course the Grand Canyon! The Grand Canyon Riverhouse is NOT full of pricey cosmetically valuable items. Too many people stay here, it gets used. It is not on the golf course, the yard survives as the weather provides much like the rest of the neighborhood. There is WIFI, and a TV with a DVD, and games to encourage interaction. The Riverhouse is unlike a pricey 5 star resort. There is no fine china, just the normal digs of Grandma's house. If your group is looking for high end accomodations this is not it.
