About this house rental

Located in Flagstaff, this charming house for $325 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The Grand Canyon Riverhouse is conveniently located just outside of downtown Flagstaff in a rural neighborhood within a 7 minute drive to the downtown. There is a trail from the neighborhood that connects all neighbors to the Arizona Trail Wilderness where deep canyons, and wildlife thrive. Many times a year Elk roam through the neighborhood. The Cross Country skiing out the back of the neighborhood and on the AZ Trail is incredible. Consequently the Mountain Biking is world class:) Also within minutes is Lake Mary among other lakes where one can fish, view wildlife like Elk, Bald Eagles, Osprey and Blue Herons. A few of the other lakes nearby are Ashurst, Mormon Lake, Kinnikinnic, and Blue Ridge Reservoir. We rent out canoes, sit on top kayaks, and stand up paddle boards if you would like to spend a day on one of the mountain lakes. The AZ Trail also links to the downtown area:), for great dining and entertainment. We highly suggest visiting the Musuem of Northern AZ, AZ Snowbowl Skiing, Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Sedona, and of course the Grand Canyon! The Grand Canyon Riverhouse is NOT full of pricey cosmetically valuable items. Too many people stay here, it gets used. It is not on the golf course, the yard survives as the weather provides much like the rest of the neighborhood. There is WIFI, and a TV with a DVD, and games to encourage interaction. The Riverhouse is unlike a pricey 5 star resort. There is no fine china, just the normal digs of Grandma's house. If your group is looking for high end accomodations this is not it. Watch the Video, just a big normal house at a great price.

Great place if you are looking for a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms. No surprises. One of many times we have rented this house.

My family stayed here for my daughters graduation from NAU. Everyone had a bed to sleep on and we were all pretty comfortable. It was a little warm upstairs at night, but there were ceiling fans in every room which helped a lot. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we needed help with the TV and needed more toilet paper. The house was just as described, "not a 5 star resort. just the normal digs of grandma's house." If you're not used to the dark sky's of Flagstaff, it can feel scary at night, but otherwise the location was perfect. We were able to avoid the traffic of the busy weekend and it was 15min or less to get anywhere in Flagstaff.

We had a wonderful time due to the way the owners of this property accommodated us and were there to help out during our stay. Brady cleared the snow from the driveway and streets to ensure our ability to get into and out of the area every day. He offered suggestions on what to do as alternatives to our plans because of the weather and went over and beyond by helping us out when one of our vehicles had a flat tire. Our family enjoyed the time we spent there very much.

Our family had a great time together at this cabin. The manager was very responsive and helped plow us out during a snowstorm so we could get home on time and back to work.

The house wasn’t as clean as it should have been. A used diaper was left behind by a previous tenant. The bathrooms were clean to about a 7 out of 10. One of the 3 water heaters wasn’t working so one bathroom had lukewarm water, there wasn’t enough places to put the trash from a large family so I had to take it home with me and put it in my dumpster at work. Other than that it was a good experience I have to say that for the price it really was worth it, it was pretty inexpensive and my entire family had a great time just a couple of overlooked items on the owners side like trash bags and some extra cleaning supplies would have been nice so we could have left it better than we found it.

If you're looking for a place that doesn't have too many bells and whistles, this place is great. A couple of things broke while we were there but communication was great and hosts were prompt!
