Fantastic location with beautiful views of the mountains, glacier, and neighboring horses. We loved soaking in the outdoor hot tub after a long day of hiking. The living room and kitchen were set up well, and the espresso machine very much appreciated. Very helpful to have laundry capabilities.
Didn't realize the other queen bed was going to be up in the loft. None of us felt comfortable using the ladder, so our second couple opted for the full/twin bunk bed instead. If the upper bunk could be repositioned higher up, that would really save some head bumps hah

Peaceful farm location, not far off the main road. Unusual set-up. You enter a sunroom/foyer that is unheated - the living areas and one bathroom are through the left door and the bedrooms and smaller bathroom are through the right door. So you are walking through the unheated foyer quite often. The living/dining area was cosy and great views from the large dining room windows. We used the excellent washer and dryer. Also a large clothes rack for drying.
Advertised as 3 bedrooms but one double was located in the attic space above main bedroom and could only be accessed via a steep ladder. My 19 year old was happy to use this bed but had to leave her suitcase in our room. So technically only 2 accessible bedrooms. The other room had a tri-bunk in it, so could sleep 3. Be warned to keep the gate closed or the horses get into the yard! The host wasn’t the easiest to communicate with. Not much info sent prior to arrival - I had to follow-up for door code after 4pm check-in.

The location was perfect to explore Skogafoss and Vik area. Beds were comfortable and you have everything to cook. The coffee machine was great
The wifi has a limited number of devices which is limiting when you are 5 people. The hot tub is old, smelled funky not vet appealing. The showers water pressure was very low.
