It’s a family owned hotel and it shows in the care and attention shown by every team member. The room was comfortable and the views out to Mount Trish and the sea breathtaking. Breakfast was excellent and we didn’t bother eating out as the à la carte menu was varied, the food and service first class, and the setting superb. The pool and gardens were immaculate and offered great views over the mountain and town. The hotel is located in a lovely area, it’s a walk downhill into the town, but there are plenty of taxis if you don’t fancy the walk back. We stayed 4 nights and would have happily stayed longer.

Lovely quiet hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens. Friendly, helpful, diligent staff.
Good food. Lots of healthy salads, fruit etc. as well as set menu with choices. Delicious desserts.
Comfy beds. Everything spotlessly clean.
Many of the staff and most of the guests are German. I can speak German but all the reception staff can speak good English.
Nice pool areas and enough sun loungers.
Lots of places to sit in the gardens or bar/ lounge areas. Super views of the town and the sea.
The hotel is a fair walk downhill or a taxi ride (about 4 or 5 euros) to the town centre.
Very few local shops and they don't stock much.
Bath and hand towels a bit thin.
Slightly odd, long, narrow pillows on beds.

The hotel has a great location and offers a cozy, clean room. The staff are professional and helpful. The hotel territory is nice, though not very large, and there is a beautiful view over the city. A big advantage is the convenient on-site parking for €7, which includes a private parking space and a separate key.
On the downside, there is no fridge in the room, and the bathroom fixtures are a bit worn out. The breakfast selection is limited, and most of the dinner dishes were not very tasty, so we skipped dinner on several evenings.
