About this house rental
Nestled in Zephyr Cove, this lovely house for $1,100 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to Heavenly Lakeview Lodge. Location note: Property address is 280 Chukkar Drive, Glenbrook, NV 89413. VRBO map does not show correct location - it shows our primary residence back in 2003 when we listed. Large outdoor decks on all 3 levels. 2 car garage with driveway parking for 3 additional cars. Street parking is not allowed. Maximum occupancy at all times is 9. We can not host loud groups and do not allow events/ gatherings. Quiet hours are 9pm to 8am. All guests musts be inside after 9pm. Our home has the great room, one bedroom and full bath and oversized shower on entry level. Good for a couple who can't handle stairs. Exterior security cameras in front and back. The GREAT ROOM features hardwood floors throughout, cathedral ceiling, and a 25 foot wall of windows with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. The KITCHEN features custom alder cabinetry, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances including a gas cooktop and double ovens. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and dining items. Granite bar with 3 bar stools. Large dining table and separate kitchen table. The LIVING ROOM has leather furnishings, a wood burning Extraordinaire fireplace, and a 52 inch high definition television with cable service. The living room opens to a large deck with a gas bbq and patio furniture (dining and lounging). POOL TABLE room with wet bar on lower level. WE SUPPLY linens and all bedding, bath towels, and household items (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dish detergent, etc). The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking and dining items. In the summer we provide beach chairs. LOCATION: Centrally located. 5 to 15 minute drive to beaches, casinos, and skiing PROPERTY Rules: 1. Primary guest must be 30+. 2. Maximum occupancy is 9 at all times; any gathering/even that exceeds 9 are prohibited. 3. Quiet hours are between 9pm and 8am and are strictly enforced. No exterior noise after 9pm and guests must be inside past 9pm. We can only rent to older, responsible groups. We want guests to enjoy our home but can not host loud/partying groups. 4. We offer 4 parking spots. No street parking is allowed at any time. Guests will be issued parking placards which they and their guests must display on the driver's side dashboard of their vehicles. Renters and their guests are required to park only in garage and driveway. Failure to park in designated area and/or failure to display the parking placards may result in a citation and fine of $500. 5. Vacation rental permit# - VHRP05-201. 6. Bookings are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance. Guest to provide copy of driver's license, and guest list (name/age) after booking

Booking this property for our group of 10 people to celebrate New Years was a fantastic decision. The house was spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. The house is just an advertised and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe!

This is a great property! Spectacular lake view from all balconies on 3 different levels. Large kitchen, spacious enough for our party of 10. Close to Stateline area and grocery store. Host and property manager were easy to work with and very responsive. Everyone in our party would recommend this property.

This house was exactly what we needed: lots of space for the entire family with a breathtaking view of the lake from every floor. We cooked at the house every night, and enjoyed using the grill. The decks were favorite hangouts for everyone, and we ate outdoors whenever possible. On the spacious main floor we even had a "spare" table that accommodated the family's mandatory jigsaw puzzles! Our local contact, Karen, was very responsive when the water heater needed repair.

We have stayed in Tahoe every presidents day week for the past 10 years. Always in a different cabin. This one was by far our favorite. The host was very flexible and had great communication. Highly highly recommend this property.

Loved staying here. Home was gorgeous and the view was beautiful. It was great having the large kitchen, dining room and family room all together so everyone could be together. Robert was very easy to work with. Only draw back was 5th bedroom was very small and no closet but it did have a dresser however would definitely stay here again.

We were blessed to stay at this lovely rental home in Southlake Tahoe for a high school reunion. The house was very comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with all we needed. We had many great memories, and the management was incredibly accommodating. Maybe my best rental experience yet.

Standing by the windows of the living room and gazing out at the unobstructed view of the lake was breathtaking. The entire house and all of the rooms are nicely appointed. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as a family and after a day skiing and snowboarding at the nearby ski resort, we settled into a nice evening in front of the large fireplace and watched television and played games. In addition to the closet full of games provided by the house, we also enjoyed teaching my nephew how to play pool and occasionally relaxing in the hot tub. Management was prompt with any questions or requests we had and were very attentive. I cannot say enough good things about this house and the rental experience. It was truly amazing. My family had such a wonderful time that we are even thinking of making this a yearly tradition! If you want a relaxing, spacious home with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding forest, you cannot go wrong selecting this house.

My wife and I had a weekend spent here with our families. Beautiful location and very spacious property. Pretty much has all the things you would need for a weekend away from home.
The only issue was that they had to change the hot tub over the weekend we were there and we were not notified about it. It was not available for use as the old one was being taken away upon our arrival and the new one was not installed yet. Having a hot tub was one of our criteria in search of the get away rental for this weekend and not having it available was a huge disappointment for everyone in our party. I wish we had been notified about it and possibly provided with some sort of compensation as we basically had paid over $1400/night for this stay.
Otherwise the communication, ease of checking in, and the unique location was exceptional.

We stayed at this spacious property for 3 nights in early September. The layout of the home worked out well for our group as we could gather for meals in the well appointed kitchen/dining area and retire to quite rooms with comfortable beds in the evenings. We had a very enjoyable visit.

Owner is spring loaded to evict people from this property. He has either a neighbor or HOA rep to spy on you and the moment you break the parking policy, or have ANYONE out on a patio after 9pm, even if they’re just talking, he will kick you out. It’s a good location but pretty much only good if you are staying in a very small group.

This property does not disappoint. The views from almost every room were absolutely stunning. The house is warm and inviting. The hot tub at night is a must! Great place to spend your family vacation time at!

This house has a great view with lots of space. For the price, I didn’t love everything.
Things I loved: the hot tub was great and worked properly. Quiet neighborhood. The massive dining room table and kitchen.
Thanks I didn’t love: communication with the host was very poor. The two queen rooms are smaller than expected. One of the queen rooms is basically a bed in a closet. The pool table has a million hairs all over it and one of the two pool table Sticks was broken.
The listing was removed from VRBO before my arrival date, so it was very hard to review the rules and house details. I had to ask twice to have access to the listing. When I did, the host let me know he was on vacation and didn’t want to be bothered with the VRBO app open.
Overall, I would not rent with this host again.

It was very difficult communicating with the owner. Due to Covid 19, we had to reschedule and the owner only responded to e-mails if the dates were available
on his calendar. Eventually we were able to secure a week.
The house and location were just wonderful. Beautiful, beautiful setting overlooking Lake Tahoe. Plenty of room for everyone. Very well equipped.

The property was just as advertised. It was well stocked and very clean. The hot tub was warm when we got there and the direct TV hookups we’re in every room. The host was responsive and timely. The address of the property was different from what was shown on the map but it was no issue. Overall a great experience.

It was extremely hot with little in the way to cool down. Construction was going every day we were there. Which was not great for the family members who had allergies. The sheets were dirty. Couldn't get wifi for a full day due to miscommunication with owner. There was no way for us to open the garage without someone running through the house to open and close it. The noise rule was ridiculous. Especially the threat of taking our deposit away if we weren't quiet enough. I have rented a lot of vrbo s and this was my least favorite. Dissatisfied with my overall experience.
