Stunning villas that feel private and luxurious with exceptional service.

Probably the most beautiful villas I’ve stayed in. I was upgraded on arrival and got to enjoy a beautiful private pool all to myself. The staff were very helpful and could answer or organise things for you very quickly.

The food was very mediocre, I wouldn’t bother with the room service (western food at least was just frozen and poor quality). The location is also a bit remote, but the villas can arrange transport fairly cheaply. If you book a tour or car try to request an English speaking driver. I had two and my experience with Andy as far better as he acted a bit like a guide and was very friendly.

Really nice new rooms with cool features, great food and a good location to access kuta and Gerupuk

Batatu Villas was excellent, we loved the rooms and the outside pool area had everything we needed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. We were also kindly upgraded to a private villa by the owner which made the stay even better!

No fault of batatu villas but the road outside is pretty rough and fun in the wet

Exceptional resort that catered to our every wish in beautiful surroundings

Outstanding staff! Beautiful villa with everything needed to live comfortably. Enormous pool for all, as well as a smaller pool in the very private villa. Good and safe drivers transported us wherever we wanted to go.

A great find!

Small complex of 12 Private Villas. Staff were very helpful and attentive - always prepared to go 'the extra mile'. Communications mainly via Whatsapp - efficient/effective.

A little further from Kuta than we anticipated but a car shuttle was available. Just a bit too far to walk.

Hier kom ik zeker een keer terug.

Top resort nabij het centrum. Je wordt in een appgroep gestopt met 22 medewerkers en vanuit daar regel je alles zoals vervoer, ontbijt, en een cocktail in het zwembad. Prachtige, onder architectuur gebouwde bungalows. Zeer vriendelijk eigenaar waar ik boeiende gesprekken mee heb gehad.

Perfect stay in Lombok!

We stayed 10 days at Batatu, the room was perfect with a king size comfortable bed, the bathroom is beautifully designed. At your arrive the staff add you in a private whatapp group where they share all the info and ask every morning what kind of housekeeping you need for the day. On the last day we also tried food and was the best local food we had in Lombok. The villa is located in a local village 10 minutes scooter drive from Kuta and 10/20 minutes drive from all the principal beaches and surf spots. Last but not least, there is a huge pool for guests I’d you don’t book a villa with a private pool.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel away from the noise of main street Kuta

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Upon arrival, we were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the suites with its own private plunge pool, kitchen area, and sunken living room. The room was massive and modern. Everything was very clean. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the main drag of Kuta, so we rented a motorbike from the hotel for the length of our stay so that we could get around more easily. They have an extensive menu of Western and Indonesian food, juices, drinks, etc. The food was very good and always delivered to our room promptly. Everyone that works here is lovely. When our flight was canceled they allowed us to extend our stay by a couple of days for the same rate. Cannot recommend this hotel more.

overall okay place to stay near kuta lombok

clean, and comfortable. the room had everything we needed and i loved the bathroom. staff were always friendly and responded immediately to our requests as we had a whatsapp group which was very systematic.

location is about 7 minutes bike ride away from central Kuta area which we didn't mind cos my bf can ride. but the roads going into the resort were always muddy and uneven as we went during monsoon season. the exterior of the resort was also not fully constructed yet so it looked kind of sketchy at first.

Highly recommend.

Service by staff was outstanding. Villas were tidy and tranquil with beautiful gardens and a pool.

The road into the property is dirt road, this is soon being upgraded. A small detail.

Amazing and unique Villa. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

Our most favourite stay during our trip to Bali, Lombok, and the nearest islands. Spacious and beautiful Villa, great architectural design, the hosts communication was stellar - you are on a dedicated whatsapp chat group, with great responses, great recommendations for enjoying the area.

The Villa isn’t right in the city, but that was actually a plus. But of a dusty road to get to if you don’t mind it. Good location - 10 mins to Kuta, 10+ mins to Gerupuk.

Superb

The staff was really nice, available for any requests! The villas are as you see them in pictures,beautiful. Good food and breakfast. They also give you possibility to rent motorbikes and drivers

Maybe the outside area. It doesn’t seem it is such a nice hotel. It is not in the real center of Kuta but with motorbikes it is only 5minutes away.

The property was amaaaaaaazing .. the staff are too friendly . I was alone and they were my family there .. anything i need i just send them massege and they respond direct.. and sure next time i will go to batatu villas direct ... they provide me with all trips and activities that i can do Thank you batatu ❤️

Very beautiful and relaxing place, with some minor things to fix. Worth it? yes

comfort of the room, big private and silent area, private swimming pool, gentle and discrete staff, muezzin music not too loud

breakfast included but with limited amount of budget, you pay the extra (no idea of what a coffee or cappucino is); sewer smell from the bathroom; dead cockroaches in the bathroom; entrance of the building still under construction (you enter from a side small entrance)

Perfect hideaway just outside Kuta

Beautiful villas and absolutely top notch service. Location is a few km down the road from Kuta which makes for a super quiet surrounding (not sure what if the same applies during race days on the circuit around the corner) but definitely use their offer to rent a scooter. We had a small accident with one of the scooters and repairs were handled with no issue and at an absolutely fair price - would give 6 stars for service if I could. No restaurant on site yet but there was no time of day at which we couldnt get room service.

Disappointed

The road to the resort is really terrible and it's in the middle of a warung. Strange location, people stare at you and a lot of dogs on the street. It doesn't look attractive. It's only a very big grey concrete wall. The villas need some renovation and tlc. Nothing wrong with it but we expected more. New bedlinen and towels for example without small holes in it because they're old. And once in a while you could smell the sewer. Especially after we used the toilet ourselves. So overall, a bit disappointed. We ordered dinner the first night, the food was good! But small portions.

Superb!

Great design, super clean, not noisy and it is close to Koeta area. Their staff are exceptional! They are super kind and helpful 👍🏼

The road to get there is still muddy and because I went there during rainy season, it was a challenge driving a bike through a mud.

Exceptional

Batatu Villas are amazing, such a nice place to. Stay in south lombok with a private pool and super helpful staff. We hired a scooter on our first day which the property organised for us alongside taxis to and from the airport and to the north West of the island so we could get a boat to gili Air which the staff also organised for us. Nothing was too much trouble and the room service food was amazing. We want to come back already

amazing property and staff! had an excellent stay here in Lombok. the villa is beautiful and meets all expectations but the staff is what really made this hotel shine. so accommodating and friendly. the food was also very fresh and delicious.
