We did not stay for the breakfast. There was a great pub with good food within walking distance. Lovely garden to sit out in, unfortunately it was too hot!
Shower curtains needed replacing. Overall a good stay but we were there during the heatwave so the rooms were very hot, which we totally understand is out of there control.

Lovely welcome from the landlady when we arrived. Breakfast was offered (at £15pp extra) and was plentiful and nicely cooked - we chose to have the full English breakfast but a Continental breakfast was also a possibility - nothing seemed like too much trouble. The private bathroom (next to the room) was clean and well-provisioned, and the room had coffee-making facilities, inc. milk and cold, bottled water via a fridge downstairs. The location itself is a few metres away from a decent pub in a quiet village - a car or bike is a must for exploring the area!
