The location was very convenient. The building and the decor were very charming and I couldn't get enough of the outdoor garden seating. We had a marvelous stay.
It was a little stressful to turn out on that highway with people flying around the nearby curve in the road. There was a good bit of road noise, but it didn't bother us too much. The stairs are quite narrow, so anyone with mobility issues should consider specifically requesting the rooms with ground floor access or packing lighter than we did.

Dinner and wine were way over priced /
The staff did not smile and were not as friendly and upbeat as other places we have visited all over the United Kingdom. Dinner staff was mixed up on who was serving us. We realize they had a pre birthday celebration happening at the time but the food for them was all preordered and was even a cold serving. Nothing hot. They should have had one person serving the the few tables in the dining room and one on the party. We kept getting different servers and were not told to buy a bottle of wine was much less expensive than 2 glasses at 50 pounds.

Easy access to the Cotswolds . Breakfast outstanding
Had a room next to the road I did email and ask for a room at the rear . Room a bit tired and could do with some attention
