Sherwin Villas #52 is the perfect condo for ski and snowboarders alike. Little Eagle Lodge is conveniently 3 minutes away via the green line. The red line is also an option to go to the Village and Main Lodge. This condo is located at the center of town, on the corner of Meridian Boulevard and Old Mammoth Road, so shops and restaurants are just steps away. A beautiful wood burning fireplace welcomes you inside the condo. Light a fire to warm up after a day or skiing and snowboarding. You and your guests will love gathering in the living room to watch a movie at the end of the day. There is a DVD, CD player, and wifi for your enjoyment. The couch functions as a sofa sleeper for 2 guests. Open the balcony doors to let some fresh air in. The kitchen is equipped with appliances to aide chefs in preparing delicious meals. A dining table is assembled with seating for 4. Sit the family down for a home cooked meal while you watch the snow fall from the windows. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable Queen bed, television, and sitting area. A separate vanity in the room allows multiple guests to get ready at the same time. A full bathroom is attached in here with a shower/tub combo. There are 2 unassigned parking spaces and shared laundry facilities available for use. The shared tennis court stations are only open during the summer. Please note - the communal pool, hot tub, sauna, and BBQ are being renovated and unavailable for use until 2023. Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts. TOT-05960-0073

Loud Construction for 5 days of my 9 day stay. Place wasn't very clean, especially chairs and shower. I asked for some money back but got no replies on those messages and phone calls.

I made 2 reservations for this condo for Nov and Dec 2022. Upon our first arrival, we found the place very dated and in need of maintenance… the front door had a forced entry that broke the door jam and dry wall. The shoddy and unsecured repair left the broken molding with a just a few shiny screws holding it all together; The shower sub-flooring is deteriorating and it feels like you’re going to fall through it. The shower is stained, cracked and the paint in the bathroom is peeling; The main heater keeps blowing its fuse and constantly needs to be reset (provided you can find the rest button inside the heater); The carpet is filthy and stained; The fridge is old, hasn’t been defrosted, won't keep ice cream frozen and the plastic shelving cracked; The swivel chairs are broken and the couch is old and the cushions are so flat you can feel the wooden framework; There is no TV in the bedroom as advertised and the mattress is thin and old…I could go on but you get the point.
After the first stay I contacted Grand Welcome, the management company of this rental, and they responded by telling me they had forwarded my concerns the the local office. I never got a response. Since the location was non-refundable we decided to return, however, Not a single thing had been done! I then spoke with the manager but she gave me a bunch of excuses. I even called Grand Welcome but never got a call back from the manager. I don't expect that the owner nor Grand Welcome cares nor intends to fix anything. FIND ANOTHER LOCATION!!

The pictures shown on the web site showed the place to be bright and clean but in reality the place was dark and dirty , the carpets were stained , bathroom sink did not have hot water the sliding door handle was broken and the deck was dirty and full of old tarps .The place needs a lot of attention , for the price I paid I feel I should have recieved more.

Not What I expected !!

Good enough for a quick stay
Location is a stones throw from the shuttle to take you to the market and a block from the market. Condo is extremely dark with two lights that were out. The place is old but does the job to keep a roof over your head for the weekend. We were there during a time of high wind and it howled all night in the condo with the old windows.

Great location, needs updates. Kitchen needs help, floor coverings are from the 70"s. Heating system is very noisy, and not very efficient .

For the price I paid compare to all the other properties around, I really can’t complain. It’s an old unit and it needs a few interior update but I’d imagine the cost will raise with that. I’m 40 years old. If you want to know hi my parents lived, this is the spot. Pull out couch was probably the worst thing about this place. Other than that, I was happy. I’d definitely same here again for the rate I paid.

Everything was excellent and I’d definitely come and stay again next year. Thank you very much for a comfortable place to stay while visiting with family there.

Could hear neighbors walking around and doing things in neighboring units; especially later at night. Some had kids that made a lot of noise which kept me up. Window to bedroom did not have a lock. Anyone could slide it open it to gain access.

Nice condo but It got cold and snowy and Mammoth and two of the three heaters in the rooms gave out and quit working the window wouldn’t close all the way so the cold air coming out all night long I informed the rental place of this on Saturday they said they would send someone over nobody showed up

Great location close to red/green lines, restaurants and Vons. Unit #52 was clean and quiet. The only negative was the heater near the fireplace did not work and the other one in the living room was very noisy. Overall experience was good.

The condo is very worn and tired.
The carpet was pretty soiled. The deadbolt didn't work. The bathtub floor was warped and unsteady. It just didn't feel clean and comfortable. This little condo needs some updating and refreshing.

Haunting, noisey upstairs people and outdated
Wow where do I start....this is a wonderful place for a tiny group of people seeking to rest their feet and enjoy a little relaxation from snowboarding or skiing for a day but not night. Why do I say that you ask? Well on our 1st night of 2 our upstairs neighbors were partying it up all the way until around 4am the next morning, heavy walking, music playing and what seems jumping around all over the place. Everyone who was with us had such a miserable time trying to get some shut eye. We drove 7 to 8 hours from San Diego California and did NOT expect this at all. We have been to this exact place before which is why we returned again but this time with family and friends. The kitchen light seemed to blink on and off periodically on it's own which caused us at times to prepare food in the dark. It's a very dim lit area in whole as the whole place is increasingly appearing out dated. A few electrical outlets seemed to not work. The heater would kick on and than shut off on it's own which also added to the sleeping discomfort. Our experience this time around was very haunting. Poorly lit areas with creaking noises in addition to the activities coming from upstairs... yes they were doing the deed and we heard it ALL..... I say stay for a day but go somewhere else for a night. I will certainly refer this place to heavy sleepers or those who seek a place to party it up and not sleep. It's more for the younger crowd....

Property is fine, but old and doesn't seem to have been maintained very well. Toilet and kitchen light broken upon arrival, and 1 heater stopped working while we were there. Heaters are generally old and loud and tough to regulate temp throughout the condo. Hot tub was good and pool would be nice in the summer. Location is convenient to shuttle stop and a lot of restaurants. Biggest complaint was communication with the property management, we tried all 3 numbers, left messages, and no one ever picked up or returned our calls. Overall it's good and we were comfortable...just need to be aware of what you're getting.

The Bed was terrible ! No sleep for us !
The location is fantastic. I love Sherwin Villas. Grounds are beautiful and its close to everything. The unit itself was very clean and perfect for what we needed. Its not fancy and that's great for us. The only issue we had is that the bed was TERRIBLE. Very old mattress and horribly uncomfortable. The 2nd night we tried sleeping on the pull out. That was even worse. The 3rd night we tried pulling the pull out mattress out off the couch and onto the floor. Bad, again. 4th night and final night I slept on the couch and my husband on the floor. Its a real bummer when you LOVE the unit and LOVE the location. This could have been perfect if only this owner would invest in some comfortable beds. We go to mammoth 2 times a year during fishing season. I have stayed all over and by far Sherwin Villas is my favorite. Please get some good bedding in this unit. I am sure you would have a lot more return customers.
