Great, but tiny, spot close to everything in Haarlem

The host was super friendly and helpful - gave us lots of great information, and was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything. I think this bed is my favorite that I've ever slept in - super soft and cozy. The apartment is tiny, but well appointed with everything we needed. I loved the view out the window sitting on the couch to drink my tea in the morning. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but still in very easy walking distance to the old town and the train station.

The apartment is very compact. It was fine for two of us, but it would have been uncomfortable with more than two. The kitchen was fine for making tea and storing a few snacks, but preparing full meals would not be easy. The stairs are VERY steep and narrow, and would be a challenge to anyone with mobility challenges.

Everything! It was so clean and well equipped. I really appreciated the contact from the hosts and the extra little touches like wine and chocolate.

All the comforts of home. A Perfect Little Spot,

We enjoyed the location in a very quiet neighborhood yet it was a close walk to the historic city Center of Haarlem and close to the central station for easy access to other locations. It was clean and very well equipped with various amenities that met our needs during our stay. The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely little spot win a great place with plenty of useful information.

The location was great, nice terrace and lots of space. Parking solution was good and was free. There were lots of nice touches such as wine in the fridge, biscuits/chocolate and a little gift for us. There was also lots of really helpful info about the area in the host’s guide.

The stairs were quite steep which I’m sure some people would struggle with! Other than that nothing at all!

Stupid-expensive IKEA floor display to help pay someone's mortgage

Haarlem is a great city to visit. The apartment is close enough to the station if you are comfortable walking, but we wasted too much time daytripping to Amsterdam from here - I recommend using this place to visit Haarlem, not Amsterdam.

The place is clearly an IKEA floor display for the purpose of a homeowner to reap the benefits of overpriced accommodation prices in NL. And don't forget the nightly city tax conveniently not included in the listed price. There are much nicer places to be found if you plan your trip early. The place is furnished with only the bare minimum to call it furnished.

Literally Feels like Home!

Everything... it was perfect! We loved it and cannot wait to come back. Location was excellent, perfectly stocked with everything you could need. Really helpful hosts. Home away from home.

Passable

Comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of central area and station. Some nice touches to make you feel at home.

Had minimal hot water. Hosts were aware but didn't get it fixed during our stay nor checked back to see if it had improved. Had to leave for airport without taking a shower. Stairs immediately in front of entrance are more like a a ladder as each step is very narrow - there are grab handles and a rail to help but not good if you have a heavy suitcase. Although Booking.com T&Cs say that local tourist tax is paid, it is not as we found out much later on. Had to pay an additional 40 Euros for 4 nights. This extra payment should be mentioned in the narrative. It is up to the hosts, who know that this additional fee will be added, to make this clear. We have stayed at hotels in Netherlands before, via Booking.com, and the tourist tax was paid at the time of booking. The hosts suggested that we contact Booking.com.

Perfect base for visiting Haarlem, Amsterdam and the beach.

The apartment was very clean and was equipped with everything that you might need. Renee and Zoran were the perfect hosts.
