We had a lovely 4-night stay at Labotessa this September. The hotel itself is gorgeous, from the lovely garden area on the ground floor to the spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated suites—it felt so homey and comfortable after long days of exploring. The bed was so comfy, and we had great night's sleep every night. A really thoughtful touch was that they serve breakfast until late afternoon, which is perfect if you want to sleep in!
Location-wise, it is really convenient—many attractions are only 10 to 15 minutes away by Uber, and we felt safe walking around during the day. There are also plenty of good restaurants and jazz spots nearby.
The staff were wonderfully warm, friendly, and super helpful with local recommendations, and it was great knowing someone was on duty throughout the night. Highly, highly recommended—we would happily stay here again if we return to Cape Town!
Honestly, we loved everything about the stay, but if we had to offer one small piece of feedback, a bit brighter lighting in the suite at night would’ve been nice

Brigit was simply amazing .. Martin, the operations manager was too. It’s a luxury gem in the heart of CapeTown. I stayed in the presidential suite and I have no words to describe the excellence of the decor to the hospitality.
