Our host did welcome us warmly and show us our place, we only stayed for a night for an very early start, so she offered to prepare us sandwiches. The grapes pub is just a short walk down the road and it's a great pub, highly recommend.

Breakfast at Whitecroft B&B is outstanding and very personable. Lorna prepares a wonderful breakfast as per your order the previous night.
We stayed at this place while on a 6-week holiday from Australia and it suited us perfectly as we were visiting Edinburgh (by train) for the Edinburgh Tattoo. Very quiet and peaceful place with off-street parking a significant bonus.
The room is small, but exactly as described. As long-term travellers, we had quite a bit of luggage with us and room size was a bit of an issue. For those who don’t have this constraint, we recommend Whitecroft B&B very highly.

Had everything we needed, loved the extra touch’s mints and chocolate bars. Lorna made us very welcome. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

It was only 30 minutes away from Edinburgh city centre by car and there was plenty of public transport options around the B&B. The owner’s were lovely and so accommodating and the breakfast in the morning was well made and fresh.
