Easy off street parking......... One of the most spectacular views in SB, yet 5 to 10 minutes to everything. We greet all of our guests in person to make sure they are comfortable and settled in. We are discretely on property (a senior couple) when guests are here and are available for whatever you might need. No management companies!! Total privacy. No standardized rules to observe.......A true vacation in your home away from home. We are respectful of your privacy but also enjoy good conversations with our guests........We have ping pong, ........boogie boards, chairs for the beach........Local guests and relatives are welcome to visit during the day. Anne is the ultimate hostess. My husband and I stayed eight days and felt as if we were one of the family. Lovely property with sweeping views of colorful Santa Barbara. Easy access to world class restaurants and mountain hiking trails. Tastefully landscaped property with whimsical additions that allow for peace of mind and a space for deep reflection. If traveling with children, there is a beautiful swimming pool to keep them occupied and fun pets with lots of personality.
We were visiting from Seattle and had a quick and enjoyable flight into Santa Barbara airport. The time passed so quickly that it seemed like a dream. We highly recommend staying with Anne.

If I could give Anne and her home 10 stars, I would! We stayed in her guest wing for three nights as we explored Santa Barbara for the first time. The biggest challenge for us was that we really just wanted to sit on her patio and enjoy the views, the pool and the peace and quiet of the home so we had to force ourselves to leave! We will be back!!!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property! It was so comfortable and also peaceful - the pool and hot tub were super clean and great to relax in. We also loved the gardens, and the view is amazing!! Really felt like true luxury. Our host, Anne, was also wonderful. Every contact with her, from our first communication through VRBO, was so warm and friendly. She offered us full flexibility on our check-in time and shared additional information about the property and area. When we arrived, she had stocked the kitchen with a wide variety of breakfast foods and also welcomed us with a bottle of bubbly, which we enjoyed in the hot tub. Anne was also helpful with sharing local knowledge, from picking out local restaurants to which beach was the best. We would happily go back and stay with Anne again and again!

In the hills close to central SB (~1.5 mi, 10-15 min drive), a lovely suite with drop-dead gorgeous views of SB and the ocean in the distance. Extremely well-appointed 2 room suite with doors opening to the lovely patio pool and hot tub. Lots of personalized books and info for the SB tourist inside, a reflection of the terrific hosting spirit of the owner.

The town, the pool, the hotub, the garden, the Iguanas, the puppies, and the Host! All just great. An incredible nurturing experience and it was wonderful to sit on the patio and connect with Anne. She has great stories and makes you feel like welcomed back friends.

We had a great stay in Anne’s guest suite. She would check on us occasionally to see if we needed anything as well as dropped off some nice free tshirts in our room while we were away. The free snacks and champagne was a super nice gesture and we really appreciated the extra touches. Anne has 2 friendly dogs that would run out to greet us while we were using the outdoor area. We love dogs so this wasn’t an issue for us, but if you don’t like dogs, that might be an issue. There is also a cute cat, Miss Kitty, who is super friendly and will greet you when you leave/arrive. Overall we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful place, lovely, beautiful and fun garden, and great view. As a ”garden nerd” I loved it! Nice, warm pool and nice little waterfall. We really felt welcomed and well looked after! Our while family loved the place. Well equipped studio so even without a full-scale kitchen we had all we needed. We’d love to come back one day!

We enjoyed every minute. We traveled from just south of KC Missouri with our 14 and 17 year old kids. Everything was at least as awesome as Anne described it. We absolutely loved the view, the pool and hot tub. Anne was very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. We enjoyed visiting with her daily. We did go explore the area but found ourselves drawn back to this property and all it has to offer. The kids enjoyed the iguanas and the beautifully landscaped trail through the property with fruit trees and flowering plants. We coooked breakfast each morning on the patio grill overlooking the marina. We had no idea the weather would be so cool and comfortable this time of year. We did test the air conditioner at Anne's request, but really didn't need it. Our experience could not have been any better. We cant wait to return.

My husband and I were looking for a VRBO outside of downtown Santa Barbara, but close, in a quiet neighborhood with the perfect view to celebrate our elopement. Anne's listing was a perfect fit.
She has a lovely suite, with a private entrance, perfect for two to four people, with two beds, an office space, a kitchenette, and amazing views. We were greeted with a bottle of bubbles and snacks after our long drive.
There is a very nice hot tub right outside of the suite, and a pool adjoining the main house. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a million dollar view right down to the ocean.
The suite was very clean, comfortable and safe. We will definitely plan another visit, and I will be recommending her VRBO to others.

Our stay with Anne was everything we expected and much more. The accommodations were perfect. There are 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area. The location is beautiful. The view from the rooms, pool and jacuzzi are breathtaking .
We felt so at home immediately! There were welcome snacks and goodies waiting for our arrival.
Utilized the hot tub every day and night. You can not believe how wonderful it is to step outside your bedroom and have this private hot tub within steps with a breathtaking view is. It was a little cool this time of year for the pool, but the pool area is beautiful!
Landscaping is so beautiful too!
The kitchenette was perfect for breakfast, lunch and a simple dinner if you choose to stay in for the night. There is a BBQ, which we used one night and had a nice glass of wine with dinner on the fabulous deck over looking the sunset.
The host, Anne was just lovely and we feel like family now. She is knowledgeable and again, just lovely.
Location is close to everything. 5 minutes to beach, State Street shopping/restaurants and really interesting Montecito (where we had an outstanding dinner at Luckys)
Neighborhood is awesome for a morning walk.
We are now reserved to come back in 4 months! And counting down the days.

Our five days here were the perfect way to explore Santa Barbara. The hosting was perfect, with an introduction to kumquats fresh from the tree as well as the sights and restaurants of Santa Barbara. The hot tub was a delightful way to end each day, even during the unexpected evening showers. Thank you for sharing this amazing home and allowing us to make friends with Beto and Toby. My husband and I stayed at Anne's place while visiting our daughter who goes to UCSB. The weather wasn't the best, but we made the best of it! Anne checked in on us a few times to see if we needed anything and made sure our stay was going well. (She is an amazing hostess and very knowledgeable about different restaurants in the area).The view her home offers is stunning! The space is very comfortable. The couple of quirks - there are 2 small dogs on the property as well a a very lovey cat! If you don’t like animals this would not be a great fit.
The rooms are small and there is no way for 2 people to sit and watch TV unless you sit or lie on the second bed. We are not big TV watchers but as we were there during the mighty storms it would have been great to sit together and watch TV. There is cable but no streaming apps.

We spent three nights around Christmas at Anne’s lovely rental. Our family included our 7-year-old grandson and his parents. We selected Anne’s place largely because of the amenities we thought would appeal to our grandson—a swimming pool, ping pong table, basketball hoop, fire pit, and two iguanas! We were not disappointed in our choice. All of these offerings made our stay very enjoyable and, most importantly, kept our grandson well-occupied. We were blessed with gloriously sunny weather all three days that allowed us to take full advantage of these outdoor pleasures. But, wait, there’s more! Anne’s gardens are beautiful and well-tended, full of succulents and flowering pots, and the view of the harbor and the city of Santa Barbara was breathtaking. Every room was clean, attractive and well-appointed. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. The cupboards and refrigerator were generously stocked with coffee, juice and other drinks, and snacks and treats of various kinds. Although there was no stove, the toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, and outdoor grill were more than adequate for our needs. Anne could not have been a more helpful and gracious host, charming to talk to and full of useful information about Santa Barbara and its tourist offerings. Plus she is a most interesting person with many accomplishments. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and highly recommend her rental without any reservations.

We had a great time staying at this lovely place! It has a wonderful panoramic view over Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands, and it was so nice to enjoy morning coffee on the terrace or gorgeous sunsets with a glass of wine, overlooking the view. The property feels very private, and our lodging was clean, nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable. Anne was a great host; knowledgeable about the area and gave us suggestions for places to see and restaurants to check out. Although the pool is normally closed this time of year she gladly heated it for me so I could do some water exercise.
It is in a quiet residential area, high enough on the hill to get the great views but close enough to get into town in a few minutes. We truly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Anne was a perfect host! She was available and helpful but respectful of our privacy while staying in the guest suite on her property. LOVED the private pool, gorgeous view and safe neighborhood. Guest suite was very clean with comfortable beds and space was very functional. Quick drive to all areas of Santa Barbara and appreciated the off street parking space. We also used Uber several times and location was an easy pick up/drop off spot.

We had 3 great days visiting our son who just moved out to Santa Barbara. We enjoyed being in the house and relaxing by the pool as much as touring around town.
Anne is a warm and friendly host. She offered a wealth of knowledge about the area and gave great restaurant recommendations.
The house is located up in the hills with a great view. It was good to be away from the thick of the tourist and hotel areas.
We hope to stay with Anne again on our next trip out.
