It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a personal retreat. This spacious bungalow offers high-vaulted wood ceilings and a bright living room with a skylight. The beach inspired décor and comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and a 42” wall-mounted flat screen make it the perfect place to relax and watch a movie when you are not at the beach or enjoying La Jolla Village. Gorgeous hardwood floors and updated appliances and furnishings throughout the home also give it a warm, welcoming, yet serene feeling. There is also a dining table for 4 in this great room area. Enjoy preparing meals for family and friends in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a modern back splash, and all of the cooking essentials you need to meet your culinary needs. A quaint breakfast nook in the kitchen is a great place to have your coffee while breakfast is being prepared! The well-designed and spacious master bedroom offers vaulted ceilings, calming décor, a 40” flat screen TV, and a full an ensuite bathroom. My husband and I stayed at this property while visiting our son at UCSD. The location was wonderful. Quick walk to coffee and the beach and then quick drive to campus to take my son out to dinner. The rooms were mostly very neat, clean. There is an area rug that they may want to replace as it is a bit stained and makes the room seem not as neat/clean. The locked gate and outdoor space was very nice to have as was the laundry. Overall I would recommend.

We love La Jolla Shores! The beach is a few easy blocks away. It’s a wonderful place to swim, sunbathe, kayak, surf. You name it. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The property is well maintained and comfortable. It’s got everything we need for a great location.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house for 2 weeks. The location is superb --- we walked down to the beach/playground and restaurants after work each day. I was worried that it would be a bit tight for our family of 4 with the kids in a pull-out couch for 2 weeks, but we had a lovely time and we enjoyed the secluded front porch area as a way to spread out a little bit. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We stayed for a week and I was so impressed. It was close to everything. Walk to the beach, walk to restaurants neighborhood store. This place had everything you would need, bicycles, surfing boards. I will stay again.

We had a great time staying with our 1.5 year old son. Great place, short walk from a beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and quickly replaced the water heater that suffered some unfortunate technical issue.

Great location. Cute little bungalow. The place needs a good cleaning super dusty. The couch needs to be replaced or cleaned it was soooo bad. Glad they allowed pets. Bed is super comfy. We’d stay again.

We had rented units at this property before but under different management. Since, there have been some nice additions (i.e. outdoor sand rinsing station) and other improvements (plenty of extra towels, beach chairs, sand toys, umbrella). The place was clean and the location is great.

Nice location just few blocks from LaJolla Shores beach with restaurants, coffee, shops all around the corner leading to beach! Place is well represented thru online pics. The back patio leaves a lot to be desired and could use updating and some patio furniture to sit on. The bathroom outlet did not work upon arrival but the owner was easily reached and it was repaired very next morning, so really not an issue. The one bath is small but has excellent storage with the vanity cabinets. Water pressure was awful but not sure if this is a California thing? So nice that she had shampoo conditioner and body wash in dispensers on walk in the shower. Plenty of towels. Bed was very comfortable as well as the pull out sofa! The bedroom is not enclosed with a door so noise from family room can be an issue. I would certainly rent this place again. We had 3 adults for our trip. Any more would be too much. Very ideal for once couple! Would stay again😊

It was a nice area, super close the the beach and playground for little ones. The home appeared like it was going to be bigger than it was, but it was smaller than pictures, still nice though. Only issue was that the floor was still dirty as well as there being a lot of fur on the couch, pillows and bedding which made it feel unclean, which i hope was not the case. We washed everything again incase. Overall nice stay, would stay again.

The location of this bungalow is great with restaurants and shops around the corner and a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is really nice and the landscaping and entrance to the four apartments is cute. The decoration of the place was perfect for a beach cabin. Better lighting overall would be great (less blinding lights and working light bulbs). The place was not as clean as we would have liked. The pullout couch has many stains, there were hairs between cushions and lots of dust under. It could use a deep clean or upgrade. The same goes for the bedroom, dust under the bed and the bedding was not the greatest quality. There was but a plastic sheet similar to was some would use for a toddler bed and it was quite disappointing a mattress topper or better quality mattress protection would be expected.
