Convenience and Elegance await you when you arrive at this GORGEOUS **ADULTS ONLY** VICTORIAN PROPERTY decorated with exquisite period antiques and fresh flowers throughout. Built in 1880, this Cape May TWIN is located in the Center of the Historic District. This gem is a block from the Washington Street Mall which makes the location WALKABLE TO EVERYTHING Cape May has to offer, and the beach is only a short four block walk. The home boasts four beautifully decorated Victorian bedrooms, and a spa-like bathroom with a shower on the second floor, a powder room on the first floor and an OUTDOOR ENCLOSED SHOWER with hot and cold water on the side of the house. One of the great features of this house is the state of the art gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances and even a wine cooler. The home has a central A/C system for those warm summer days, and a gas fireplace for those chilly fall and winter evenings. Although professionally decorated in period Victorian furnishings, this house has all the MODERN conveniences of home. The bedrooms of the house are on the small side as not to compromise the original integrity of the house when renovated, however, the bedrooms harbor a totally Victorian feel, and your stay is similar to the ambiance of the finest Bed and Breakfasts Cape May has to offer. There is private parking in the back of the house for three cars so you will always be guaranteed parking during your stay. Should you want to visit areas outside Cape May City, just walk out the back door and you will have access to your car should you need it. For summer rentals, six beach tags, six beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and a beach cart are located on the premises. The front porch offers four rocking chairs for people-watching or relaxing with an afternoon glass of wine as the tour trolley goes by. The back porch offers porch ceiling fans, a wicker couch and two chairs with a table, and is steps away from the BBQ out back . There is a table with chairs and umbrella on the new brick patio which is the perfect place for an evening BBQ. All beds are made up with beautiful spreads and sheets -- just awaiting your arrival. Bath towels and beach towels are also included for your stay along with extra pillows. Cape May is known for its beautifully restored Victorian homes, top rated beaches and Zagat reviewed restaurants and this Franklin Street home is the embodiment of all the best that Victorian Cape May has to offer. We loved staying here four our 4 night stay in Cape May! So close to everything, and such a clean, well-appointed house! Even with tropical storm Ophelia bring the wind and rain, it was a beautiful trip!

This is a gorgeous house, inside and out. The kitchen is fully stocked with nice things, not a hodgepodge of plates and silverware. In fact, I want to find the plates and buy some for myself. Our hostess left a large basket of snacks and a bottle of wine, starting the vacation in a lovely way. There are fresh flowers throughout the house, which is full of victorian style furnishings. It is ultra-convenitnt to the Washington St Mall area and the supermarket, and a few more blocks to the beach. EVERYTHING is included, including whatever is needed for beach visits (umbrellas, chairs, suntan lotion). Trish was an excellent communicator, and all went smoothly. I especially appreciated and NEEDED the three bedrooms that would accommodate the three couples in our group. We plan to book this house again next year!

Absolutely loved this home! There was an amazing welcome basket, fresh flowers everywhere, and all of the amenities you would ever need! We really appreciated the beach tags, wagon, umbrellas and chairs! Those items usually take up most of our trunk, so we loved that these were provided. We also loved the location. We did have to login to work and had no problems with the wifi.
Overall, five stars! Wonderful house & host!

Trish, the owner, was very responsive to our needs and requests. The house makes you feel like you have stepped back in time to the Victorian era. The owner has many Victorian pieces that creates the ambience. A narrow stairway to the second floor was challenge for a member of our party who had a problem with her leg. A modern kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and much appreciated. Trish goes above and beyond to ensure her visitors have what they need.

Great location
The location of this unit was ideal - within walking distance of shops and the beach without being in the middle of a loud or busy area. The porches were ideal for reading or gathering with friends. The inside of the home is pretty much as represented in the photos. I had hoped that it was not as dark as it looked, but it was very dark. I’m sure this was by design to preserve the Victorian vibe, but the living room was dark to the point of being a bit uncomfortable. The bedrooms were small but nicely decorated and comfortable. Communication with the owner was great, and we were welcomed with a sweet handwritten card upon arrival.

Trish provided beach passes, beach chairs, and umbrella and a beach wagon, which saved us so much room in our cars and money so we didn’t have to rent chairs or an umbrella. She also provided us with a comprehensive list of restaurants and things to do in Cape May. I’ll say it once more, we cannot wait to return!!

Trish's house is a bona fide Victorian. A lot of care has put in to make the house feel authentic, yet comfortable. With all the nice period touches, the house also comes with a well equipped kitchen where we had a couple satisfying meals in our 3 night stay. The beach chairs and umbrellas are extra nice touches Trish provides. A wonderful pre-Memorial day experience.

Charming Home in the Heart of Cape May
This is a great rental. The owner was responsive and so very easy to work with. I was there with 5 of my friends. We didn't realize it was a duplex and you get one side of it. Even with 6 of us we never felt crowded. The beds are super comfortable and have the most soft and comfortable sheets I have ever had in a VRBO type rental. The kitchen is is remodeled and has everything you need. Location is fantastic. We walked to the beach/boardwalk, restaurants, grocery store and pedestrian shopping area.

A magical Victorian Christmas!
I cannot say enough good things about our stay in Cape May! Trish was the most amazing owner we have ever met! Just staying in this beautiful home was wonderful enough, but Trish went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and she added so many extras so our every need would be met. From the bottle of wine to greet us when we arrived, candy on every bed, a beautiful floral arrangement for our Christmas dinner table, a supply of extra toiletries if we needed them and ironed sheets atop the most comfortable beds! She made it very hard for us to want to leave this beautiful place! I look forward to our next stay already!

Rare Rental We'd Return To...
...Mostly because we like to try different places, but we will return and can def recommend this house and Trish. We also want to recommend Cape May, in general. Wow, what a beautiful place. Trish did an awesome job renovating this Victorian home and you will feel the Victorian Cape May vibe both when at the house and when you're out exploring. And you will be easy walking distance to everything, too. Gorgeous house. Spotless. Kitchen great for cooking. Perfect in every way, IMHO!

Great classic Victorian home.
This home was a real find. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, wonderful restaurants and shopping. Get there, park your car and you don't have to use it again until it is time to go home. The interior is uniquely decorated with period furniture and antiques. The owned has gone out of her way to equip the home with all that was needed during our stay. She was also very responsive to any questions that we had about the area. Loved our stay, looking forward to returning some day!

Trish was the perfect hostess. She responded to all questions and offered wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Her home is picture perfect. She has supplied EVERY amenity one could want. We could have arrived with just a small bag of clothes and been set for the week. She has thought of everything. Felt like we were staying in a friend’s home instead of a rental.

Perfect Halloween stay!
This was a Halloween celebration Mother/Daughter weekend. There were 6 of us and we all had an amazing time! The home is beautiful at any time of year, but was especially charming with all the seasonal decorations. The location was a very short walk to town which boasted adorable shops, restaurants, bistros and activities. Trish was wonderful, leaving us detailed information for all of Cape May. We took many of her suggestions, and enjoyed all! Be aware, many of the restaurants are BYOB so be prepared to bring your own libations. I forgot my overnight bag and Trish was so kind to return it to me promptly. Thanks Trish! We would definitely return and experience the home at another time of year!

Home away from home for Memorial Day weekend.
My family had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We have been spending our Memorial Day weekends here in cape May for the last 25 years of which we stayed in hotels. This is the first time we rented a house and was very satisfied with the accommodation. Trish is a wonderful host and hospitable. The house is immaculate and detailed for everyone to feel comfortablea and at home. Location is very convenient to everything. Mall, restaurants, bars and beaches. My family would definetly come back next year or even before that. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Tish for everything. We had a blast!. See you soon.

Annual Get Together
Everything about this property is delightful. The attention to detail, the amenities, close proximity to restaurants and shopping are all excellent. We didn’t really have beach weather but it was a comfortable walk to the beach. All of the bedrooms are on the second floor, so comfort with stairs is important. Thanks for giving us a great location for our friend reunion.

Fabulous Victorian House for Girls Getaway
The home was beautiful and unique! Most importantly for us, it was CLEAN! Trish was the perfect hostess, welcoming us and giving some fantastic recommendations for places to eat and drink. We took her up on almost all of her recs and thought she was right on - awesome places within walking distance. We appreciated the little touches of coffee pods for the Keurig, chocolates on our pillows, and a greeting card and welcome wine. Thank you, Trish!! The bedrooms were comfortable and again - so clean.
We spent a number of hours rocking in the chairs on the front porch, which was lovely, though there wasn't much people watching on this particular street. That said, it was quiet, so no complaints there!
