Located in Charleston, this attractive house for $271 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Located within the private Fort Neck Association in the quaint seaside town of Charlestown this ranch style home will offer you a quiet vacation getaway with quick access to everything beautiful South County Rhode Island has to offer. Take a short walk down the dead end road to a private association to access kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Walk or bike one block over to see the breathtaking view at historic Ft. Ninigret Park. This house features a total of three bedrooms, all have ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a half bath, toilet and sink only. Bedroom two has a queen sized bed and a bunk bed set with a pull out trundle, bedroom three has a double bed. Please note no bedding linens are provided, you must provide your own sheets and pillow cases., bath and beach towels will be provided. All three rooms are close together and share a full bath in the hallway adjacent to each of the three rooms. If you prefer to shower outside take a relaxing, private outdoor shower just off the back deck. The house is equipped with a mini-split AC to cool the family room and kitchen. Enter the rental home through the mud room entrance way with front facing sitting porch, perfect for sipping your coffee in the early morning sunshine. This mud room entrance also leads out back to a private deck great for chilling and grilling. Especially enjoyable after a sunny day on one of the many spectacular Rhode Island beaches including Charlestown Beach, Blue Shutters Beach, Matunuck Beach , Narragansett Beach, Misquamicutt and endless others if you dare to explore. In addition to top notch beaches this property location offers you endless other options to spend your leisure time. Take the ferry to Block Island, ride a bike to Ninigret Park for Frisbee golf, tennis, basketball, walking/bike path or pickle ball. Spend the afternoon with short drives to Mystic Seaport or a stroll through Newport. Two world famous casinos are located within a half hour drive. Property owner has lived in the area and has operated a small business for 36 years and can help set up your dream vacation with local knowledge and many connections to other businesses and restaurants. Want to try some boating, rent a pontoon boat at Ocean House Marina (1/2 mile away) for the day. ( Have your family and guests take a short walk down the street where you can pick them up at a private association dock. From the pick up point take your family and guests out with your fully stocked cooler, fishing poles and clam rake to explore Ninigret Pond, or float over to the serenity of East Beach that is only accessed by boat or four wheel drive with miles of secluded beaches and a view of Block Island Sound. House features washer, dryer, outdoor shower, comfy beds and mini split AC. Grill your catch on the back deck while you sip a margarita enjoying the serenity of the private back yard. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, kitchen and family room are chilled by air conditioning. House has plenty of windows to let light in as well as the salt air and fresh ocean breeze. We have stayed many, many years on Cape Cod and decided to try Charlestown, RI this year. This rental home was perfect in that it is located in a quiet neighborhood with great access to the beach, boating and nature. The landlord was very responsive to the few needs that we had. The house is clean with upgraded appliances. The new ductless air-conditioning system works well and the bedrooms will stay cool as long as the bedroom doors remain open. I would highly recommend that you consider this rental property. Charlestown is GREAT! No more Congested Cape for us!

Great neighborhood that was close to everything and quiet area. having the washer and dryer on the first floor was very convenient.
The mini split and AC in the kitchen kept the house cool. Only thing for me is the bedrooms did not get cool enough for me as I like it very very cold when I sleep. My wife and child where happy with the temp so I am just a little unique when it comes to bedroom temp.

The house was very clean. Very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet! We had a very nice vacation, and Patrick the renter was very good at communication and helping us out with questions such as where should we get the best pizza! Could not be more pleased.

I've stayed in Charlestown for many 1 week vacations over the years, and Patrick's house was one of the nicest quiet properties I've been too in the region. No worry of rowdy renters next door and you can walk to the pond for a nice morning coffee. Definitely perfect for our stay with an elderly grandmother.

Great place for our family’s getaway
The property is in a quiet, pretty location, close to many beaches and other beautiful ponds and conservation areas. The back deck is private and the outdoor shower is very convenient. The WiFi was good - I was able to get good stable connection for work zoom calls. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The air conditioning in the main area was modern and we could keep the house at a comfortable temperature combined with the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious.
We would have appreciated being able to use the garage for storage but understand owner’s choice to keep that area locked.
Patrick was responsive and communicated well before, during and after the stay.

Clean and comfortable beach retreat
One word describes our trip to Patrick’s house in Charlestown - easy! The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family, making it easy to relax and enjoy our beach vacation. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet, and the dock at the end of the street was a beautiful spot for a cocktail after a day at the beach. The house is in a great location - close to all the local beaches, some great restaurants and shops, and there’s even a liquor store a block away! Patrick was very easy to reach and answered all of my questions right away. He made it so easy to get in the house and made us feel right at home. The best part - the outdoor shower that’s nicer than most indoor ones! Overall, my family and I had a wonderful trip to Charlestown, thanks in large part to Patrick and his great house!

Great family retreat!
Patrick is a most gracious host and the house fit all our needs! Nice quiet neighborhood, close to beaches, groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. House was well stocked with amenities. We just wished we could stay longer!

We had a terrific week staying here! Close to awesome beaches. The neighborhood is nice and quiet on a dead-end street. Outdoor shower is so nice!! Owner was in touch whenever we needed him. We would definitely rent again!

Great week!!
We had a great week at this property- posting was very accurate and had everything we needed! We especially loved the back deck in the private yard and the outdoor shower after long days at the beach. Everything inside was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything you could need for pans and dishes plus some other basics like salt, sugar, oil and laundry soap. AC and ceiling fans kept the house very comfortable. The distance to the beach was slightly longer than we envisioned, but still only a 5 min drive to Charlestown and Breachway beaches and house was in a nice quiet neighborhood convenient to other locations. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but Patrick still checked in a couple times to make sure everything was OK. We would recommend this property and would rent here again!

The Perfect, Quiet spot for our family
This is just what I wanted, a quiet spot when not at the beach. It is in a residential area off the main road with the opportunity to get out and walk down to the cove. The house is well laid out with an open kitchen/dining into the living area. Just what you want for spending time with family. The kitchen has full size appliances, and it was stocked with just about anything you could need with dishes, pots/pans, utensils. The owner recently updated with new floors and fixtures. It is beautifully decorated in a blue & nautical theme. New furniture throughout. The 3 bedrooms have a king, queen & bunk beds, and a full size bedroom. Mattresses & pillows were all brand new and very comfortable. He provided towels for the house & the beach. You just need to bring your own sheets. There is a washer & dryer off the kitchen area. The one AC kept the house surprisingly nice and cool. You may need to keep the bedroom doors open. We were there during the hottest, humid weather. The backyard has a private outdoor shower that is stainless steel with multiple heads. Very nice! New decking with a high top table, chairs, umbrella and another table set for outdoor seating. The grill is a Webber and new. Quiet, spacious backyard for kids to play. He has recently done landscaping with flowers, bushes. Close drive to beaches, restaurants. The local market had a great variety of meats, vegetables & bakery goods.
The owner was very attentive, and provided many details to make our stay very comfortable. He did not skimp on quality. This is a cozy home that our family and friends felt very comfortable in. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to get out of the sun and relax after a day at the beach.
