Featured in Fine Homebuilding and RI Monthly magazines, this award-winning Custom Designed Saltbox has sweeping lines, curved details and asymmetrical angular features. The living area feels large due to the wide-open living room and kitchen, opening on one end to the deck and on the other to the front porch with classic rocking chairs. With live-edged Walnut countertops, custom cabinetry, open shelving, and stainless appliances, this uniquely laid out kitchen allows for intimate cooking or open entertaining. The Living room/Dining area features a large table for six and a comfortable sitting area with a sleeper sofa. A half bath and the large deck finish off the first floor. Ascend the staircase to the two bedrooms with their unique angles & high ceilings, The Master has a queen bed, dresser, and custom built-in closet. The other bright bedroom has bunk beds. The intimate bath with small soaking tub completes the second floor. There is also a large finished basement with a sleeper sofa and space for indoor games and puzzles (of which there is a substancial selection). The first and second floors are air conditioned with a system that was recently installed. Situated on the top of a hill 3.5 miles from Charlestown Beach, the 5+ acre property has its own walking trails and offers tremendous privacy. Off the front porch there is a new outdoor shower, kids play set, a fire pit with seating, and a hammock. On the back deck there is a sitting area, grill, and a large open air dining space. With just enough lawn area to play games, this house makes a great getaway!

We had a great stay in this adorable house in a quiet setting surrounded by trees. The location was great but it was the unique and well equipped house that made the trip especially enjoyable.

This sweet and interesting "Hideaway" was clean, comfortable, private, cozy, well supplied, and with pretty grounds. We very much appreciated the washer and dryer, all the labeled light switches, and the excellent communications. It was a relaxing stay.
