About this condo rental
Located in Victoria, this charming condo for $100 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Please note that effective May 1, 2024, the BC Government has made the minimum stay for rentals in British Columbia to be 90 days. If you are seeing the option to book a stay for less than this time period please note that it is displaying this way to show the breakdown of the monthly rate for this property. The building was completed in April 2015 so everything is shiny and new. This unit has a lovely 800-square-foot floor plan with a patio to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria and a bonus view of the mountains from almost every window. City Center is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with queen beds in each bedroom. Large sitting area for visiting or watching TV. Open concept kitchen lets you chat and prepare your favorites. There are stainless appliances and high-end finishing throughout. City Center is within walking distance of all the major and minor downtown attractions. Just a few blocks from the Inner Harbour and a few more to the Parliament Buildings and the Royal BC Museum. Restaurants and shopping are also just out your front door. There is also a lovely common area that has an inside and outside component. Take down your coffee and newspaper and enjoy the gas fireplaces while you do some excellent people-watching! Since 2008, Checked in Victoria Vacations has been offering safe methods of payment, an easy booking process, and responsive reservation communications. *Please note there will be important check-in details sent to you from Checked in Victoria Vacations before arrival that will prompt you to set up your preferred access, then 14 days before arrival, you will be sent detailed information on your property. For every 30 or more days of rental, a mandatory mid-stay clean is required. It will be a 5-hour clean costs $200 per clean and will repeat every 30 days. It will consist of a full linen change, bathroom, kitchen, floors, and dusting. We also offer bi-weekly or weekly cleaning, this can also be arranged based on your needs. Excellent location and very well appointed. Loved the small terrace. Enjoyed being able to walk to great coffee and breakfast shops. So many good eating establishments within easy walking distance. We had planned outings for each day and were always able to walk to meeting place - Buchart Gsrdens, whale watching, food tour and high tea. Highly recommend.

Only complaint would be the bed was very soft. Not great for someone like me with back and hip issues. Everything else was incredible. Great location.

Great location! We were walking distance to everything in downtown Victoria. Suite was very accommodating and had everything we needed. Security of building was excellent. We would stay there again!

This is a great quiet little condo, in walking distance shopping, waterfront, etc. Overall clean unit, but the clothes washer has mold on the rubber gasket. It needs attention.
The chores list included taking out garbage, recycling, and compost and starting a load of laundry on departure in addition to things I would normally expect (cleaning coffee maker filter and starting dishwasher--thats pretty standard stuff at other units I have stayed at). I would have appreciated being offered a discounted cleaning fee if you are expecting me to add laundry and garbage removal.

I was met at check in, given an orientation of the building and general overview of shops and markets in the neighbourhood. Heather and Tim were very helpful, if I needed anything they were very accommodating. The location was very suitable, I was able to walk most of the places I wanted to see. I nightly recommend it..

The only suggestion would be to replace/upgrade the master bed with a better mattress and take away the footboard to allow more room around the bed. Also an additional lounge chair of some sort would be a bonus. Other than that everything about the unit and management excellent.

The unit and the whole building is extremely clean and well maintained. Well stocked unit. Beds are very comfortable. Even though we are right downtown the unit itself is very quiet. Speaking of downtown the unit is in a perfect location to all amenities. Deirdre, our welcoming guide, was very accommodating. She checked in with us on a regular basis and even asked if all was well during the Covid-19 quarantine. We could not ask for a better receptionist. Thank you. Even though we had to return home early due to the virus issues we left with positive memories of our experience. We would not hesitate to return.

Coming back
This was our first stay at this condo in this building. We had stayed in this building before but in a different condo! We enjoyed our stay - it was central for us - bank, church, hockey arena, grocery store, Mall and plenty of good restaurants in the area! We have booked for next year (2 months) - what else do we need to say!

Great accommodations in Victoria
We enjoyed our accommodations in Victoria. Heather met us in the lobby upon our arrival and explained the security, escorted us to the unit, showed us the garage and instructions of how to get there, showed us where to dispose of garbage. This was very beneficial for us and greatly appreciated. The unit was very well stocked. A Great Experience.

Great location, safe building, clean condo!
This condo is exactly as advertised and we would definitely rent again and recommend to others. The location is close to everything, on Yates, in a new building with parking and it’s a very secure building. The unit itself is clean, cute furnishings and fully stocked with everything you’d need. My mother in law was especially happy that each room had a fan and each bathroom had its own hairdryer. There’s also a grocery store two blocks away. Heather, the owner, was very responsive and gave us a tour of the property on arrival. Everything was wonderful and made our stay in Victoria very comfortable.
Fol Epi, the pastry shop right next door to the condo building is AMAZING. The croissants are so delicious, we went there twice!
My only suggestion would be to get rid of the bed frames and just use headboards. The beds take up most of the space in the rooms and we were all banging our legs on the wood frames.
Just a note for those traveling with kids: the bedrooms are very small so we had to be a little creative to fit the pack and play next to our bed. There is a pack and play and a booster seat in the unit, I didn’t really check them out because we brought our own, but they are supplied!

Excellent location
Heather met us at the condo and when we left. She was also available for help all the time. She was awesome. From the coffee place literally next door (fol api) to the practicar car rental a block away to any restaurant or downtown activities all within easy walking distance, this place was great. Probably a 4 plus - great location close to downtown and very secure.
Arrival and departure were perfect - the on the ground team (Heather and Tim) was ready and informative. As mentioned, the location is great and the condo and building are very secure. Our unit was clean and overall “as promised” based on previous reviews and the information provided. I would have liked to have given it a 5 star rating but because the condo was on the expensive side of the competition, I felt it had a few shortcomings:
This is a 5th floor unit . It had views of the other buildings and long views of the west part of Victoria, it had no view of the harbor area or water.
On most occasions you don’t need A/C in Victoria so that was OK. Opening windows to cool things down works great but at night it also lets the city noise in, which forced us to shut the windows. There are small fans in both bedrooms and they helped but weren’t perfect.
The condo is well appointed but on the small side - especially the bedrooms as with queen-sized beds, they were full of bed with little room to move left over. The beds were very nice - firm but comfortable. The TV was great as the Hockey and NBA playoffs were ongoing. The washer / dryer worked OK - obviously on the small side, which was expected. The washer could use some directions for use but we figured it out.
Our neighbors and all the tenants were very friendly. A good grocery store is only 2 blocks away. Importantly, a liquor store is also close by as well as several good options for coffee, dining, desserts and snacks.
Overall, we had a great time and this unit was a very good spot to hang out and enjoy all that Victoria has to offer.

Great location; friendly, efficient check in; excellent communication; only thing to improve is a box of Kleenex and clock in each bedroom. Would definitely stay there again.

Weekend stay in Victoria
Loved this unit however, my 80 year old mother would have liked some grab bars in either the shower or the tub. Amazing how sound proof the unit is. It was reassuring that the security was so good-we felt very safe.

Great location, surprisingly noisy for the back of the building. Easy walking anywhere downtown. Excellent bakery and breakfast place right next door.
Bed linens and towels pretty good, but the master bed was uncomfortable. Fairly stocked pantry, but no regular tea. There was an abundance of sugar!
Picking up the keys was frustrating. Opted for the meet and greet, but told last minute that we we would need to pick up from the lock box. Not a big deal, but don't offer an option if it's not available. Getting the key out of the lock box took nearly 20 minutes as it was vey difficult to open.

Excellent location and a beautiful accomodation!
We had a fabulous stay!! The condo was everything as promised and oh-so-spotlessly clean! It was terrific to have a washer and dryer in the unit and we appreciated all of the dishes and silverware and dish towels! The management company was great to work with and very accommodating to our ferry-from-the-US arrival. The white binder to welcome us with information on the unit was helpful....tho we struggled to find the section in the book on where to take out the garbage. :+) We would definitely look to reserve this unit again on our next visit to Victoria! Thanks!
