The location has a wonderful view, the restaurant is amazing, and the room was cozy. Staff was very friendly and available.
Some of the furniture could use an update but it was such a pleasant stay

Very nice accommodations for the area.
Flores felt dirty, shower head had no pressure, like a towels in facial tissue in room had to call downstairs.

Excellent evening staff. Bar stayed open late and the conversation with the barman made the trip.
Hiker box for through hikers, reasonable sitting areas to congregate with strangers.
Breakfast service, where the exceptional service we’d received all stay started to break down with our orders getting confused or removed too soon.
Didn’t have fire-starting supplies in the room with a fire place. Though we might’ve been able to ask for these and just missed it.

The location is beautiful and very close to Ashland. The desk staff were all very friendly and tried to be helpful as best they could.
The room was dusty like it had not been used or deep cleaned in some time. The shampoo dispenser was empty and the small bottle of conditioner was partially empty like it had been used. The bed springs made loud noises with any movement during sleep. Overall just dingy. The property has recently been acquired by a new owner who is implementing changes that resulted in our stay not including breakfast which was part of the booking. We got a $9 coupon to use in the dinning room which did of course did not cover any of the menu items. Finally the WiFi was out the entire 3 days of our stay which was another amenity not available during our stay. Definitely a bummer overall because we were really looking forward to the unique setting and experience that the location should offer.
