Beautiful Log Cottage is ideal for couples, small families, and quiet getaways with friends. It sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 sleeping spaces: a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a separate sleep cabin with a queen bed for added privacy. The main cottage features a bright great room with a wall of windows overlooking the lake, a full kitchen, one bathroom with shower, a sun porch, propane fireplace, Wi-Fi, Netflix, good cell service, and board games for relaxed evenings indoors.
Days here can be as active or as restful as you like. Swim, paddle, read in the shade, enjoy meals outdoors, barbecue with family, or roast marshmallows under a sky full of stars. The principal annual events are: Thunder Valley – Black Fly Edition (May long weekend); Thunder Valley – Truck Rodeo (August long weekend); and Smoke ’N’ Spurs Festival (Labour Day weekend).
During these weekends, guests may hear amplified music, vehicles and other event-related activity, which can be significant at times. If you are looking for a very quiet cottage weekend, we recommend selecting different dates. If you are attending one of these events, the cottage may be an especially convenient accommodation option.

We loved everything about this beautiful cottage. Our group of 6 adults was very comfortable. We were in the area for ATVing and the trail is right down the road. Hope to book a return next year.
