Lovely, small home, with everything we needed for our family of three. The washer/dryer was very helpful. View from the top floor is beautiful. Clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage has just what we need. Close proximity to town and swimming. We were able to cook there and enjoy the sea from top balcony.

This rental was the perfect location to tour the North Shore. It was comfortable, perfectly clean and had anything you might need. The views from the bedroom balcony were perfect for breakfast coffee and evening cocktails. Dianne our host was the best!

The house was a perfect match for what we wanted from this trip. The view from the top balcony was beautiful and the sunrise we saw on our last day was simply gorgeous. Communication was easy and gave everything we needed to know. The house was easy to find and the location was perfect! Rockport is a quaint little town and enjoyed our trip there immensely.

We came in early May for a week of relaxing and sight seeing. This clean, quiet, lovely cottage was perfect! We took the train to Boston for a day, drove to Portland for a day, and spent the other days exploring local beaches, restaurants, and shops. Great location for a getaway to Cape Ann! The owner is a gem: quick responses to all our questions and needs!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at Dianne's cottage. The place was immaculate, cozy and stocked with everything we needed. Her recommendations for things to do in the area were spot on. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely book again. Dianne was a pleasure to work with and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had.

This property is all it is advertised to be. A great location for exploring the North Shore. We went on a whale watch and had a couple of great dinners in Rockport. The views from the top balcony were spectacular with an especially beautiful sunrise on our last day. Highly recommend this property.

Property is lovely, well furnished with excellent amenities. It is in the perfect location with easy access to Rockport, Bearskin Neck and Pigeon Cove. Parking is excellent right in front of the home. A hidden gem in beautiful Rockport.

Cottage has everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Close to many attractions and sites. Nearby swimming and nice BBQ area. The only negative for us, was bed being too firm.

This was our 4th stay at Eden’s Gate. Everything about this little house is excellent. The proximity to town is wonderful and neighbors all so welcoming! We swam daily at the quarry just up the street and by the end of our stay really felt like part of “the gang”! It is a pretty easy mile (+/-) walk past Back and Front beaches to Bear Skin Neck where we enjoyed too many lobster rolls, too many cups of chowder, too many ice cream cones and walked into every shop! We even went to an amazing show at the Shalin Lui Art center - a must see venue! Best part of Eden’s Gate is probably the view from the upstairs deck. Only downsides I should mention for an honest review is the bedroom (just 1 in the house) is upstairs and has sloped ceilings so bumping your head is not unusual. Also the bathroom (just the 1) is downstairs. Can be tricky at 2 in the morning. Other than that - Dianne (owner) is fabulous and gets back to you in minutes with any concerns or questions. Parking is easy and there is a key pad system for entry so no keys to worry about. Go! Enjoy! You won’t regret it.

Charming. Very well appointed and well-stocked. Roomy.. Quiet. Amazing view of water. A 1/2 mile walk to Back Beach, which is lovely and not at all crowded. Also terrific swimming place in quarry 3-minute walk away. 1 1/2 mile walk to Bearskin Neck/downtown area. Host was helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the cozy home. Quiet location yet able to walk to center of Rockport and to the state park. Quick drive into Gloucester for whale watching and good food. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic view, well appointed, well located.

Eden's Gate was the perfect place for my friend and I to stay for our long weekend in Rockport. Dianne was very responsive and the whole process from booking right through to check-out was seamless. Not having to carry a key around with us as we traveled to different spots every day was so convenient. The house was SPOTLESS, and I mean PERFECTLY clean. So comfortable inside and out, and there were so many little touches that we so thoughtful - coffee maker AND electric kettle, clean gas grill outside, even a filter pitcher for cold clean water. I really loved the window seat! The split AC units up and down cooled the cottage down in a really short time, and we didn't even need to have them on at night as the breeze through the windows & slider was heavenly. The location was very convenient to downtown Rockport as long as you don't mind about a 20-minute stroll. The views along the way are priceless and everyone we met was so friendly. Rockport and Gloucester are both very dog-friendly towns, and I did miss my dog while I was gone, but it was great to be able to engage with so many different four-leggers while visiting the shops and galleries. I will definitely be back to Rockport and will happily stay at Eden's Gate again - it's really just perfect! Thank you so much, Dianne!

This is a lovely property for a solo traveler or a couple. The decks on each level are great with an amazing view of the ocean from the upstairs deck. All amenities needed for a great vacation stay including a fire pit and grill on a small lawn area. All communication with the owner was quick and thorough. Thanks for sharing this lovely spot!

Very cozy, nicely arranged place. Older folk should be aware that the bathroom and bed are at opposite ends of the place (one upstairs, one down), but it wasn't a problem for us. The Rockport area is nice and quiet and central to a lot of activities, definitely worth the stay.
