This is an upscale Key Largo townhouse you would not expect to find in the Florida Keys. With it's Malibu feel, this Chic two Bedroom unit is located at The Kawama Yacht Club! Just minutes away from John Penne Kamp State Park, known worldwide for its underwater scuba and snorkeling. Great restaurants are within walking distance. Watch my niece feed our friendly tarpon "BIG BEN" in the lagoon outside the unit. The unit has been professionally decorated and completely remodeled in August 2020. The design reflects a vintage look and captures the tranquil elegance of the sea with an artful mix of chic and rustic elements. The property offers a 400 foot jetty where you will take in spectacular sunsets. The unit overlooks a salt water lagoon from its large balcony and is steps away from 2 heated pools, tennis courts and a marina. Adults can watch the kids swim in the lagoon or jump off the platforms while relaxing on the balcony or the living room. The unit comes loaded with all new amenities. High speed Wi-Fi and 3 large smart TVs with Net Flix included. The living area and master bedroom have an array of large windows overlooking a beautiful lagoon which brings in natural light. The living room seating includes a sectional to comfortably seat the entire family. Unit includes new driftwood-finish oak flooring and a modern kitchen with seating for five on the counter and formal dining for eight. The master bedroom has a king bed and bunk beds and a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The guest room has a queen bed and also has a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The living space comfortably sleeps SIX. It has one full bathroom and a half bath downstairs, washer and dryer, free WiFi. Kawama Yacht Club’s amenities include an on-site marina (with boat ramp), oceanfront access, 24 hour security, boat trailer parking, fresh salt water lagoon, heated pools, kids playground and tennis courts. These amenities make Kawama Yacht Club a very desirable vacation. You can go boating, snorkel, kayak, paddle-board, and fish or just catch a tan. Access to the marina ramp is free. Nice property, cleaned and very well decorated. Great amenities around if you travel with little kids (small kayaks, kids pool, etc). Our kids are 19 and 17 so not as much there for them to do but we enjoyed the tennis and pickleball court.
The kitchen appliances would need some upgrades. We had a couple of rainy days and attempted to do some cooking and couldn't make a decent omelet with the pans available.
Overall, we had a nice stay.

Gorgeous home, great little community. We wanted a very laid back vacation, somewhere we could go and not have to travel much. This was perfect. The community had plenty to entertain my teenagers and small children. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very much at home!

We had such a great time during our stay at the Kawama! Such a fun location for our family of 5. We loved kayaking and swimming in the lagoon, swimming in all the pools, taking golf cart rides out to the jetty and we enjoyed playing various racquet sports on the tennis courts.
We also loved all the nearby restaurants and activities. We were busy in a good way the whole time we were there.
The townhome itself was great! I LOVED the decor of it and it was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. We absolutely would come back!

We absolutely loved our experience staying at this property! Diana was very easy to contact and prompt at responding with any questions we had. The place was clean and beautiful!! We loved the lagoon and our kids really enjoyed using the kayaks and sand toys. The neighbors were all very friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Kitchen needs help, no dishwasher which stinks for traveling parents especially since water pressure is lower. Maybe put a huge stack of paper plates in one of the cabinets,. The neighborhood also needs better trash removal, taking it to the dumpsters is extra stinky and gross!
Beds were very comfortable, useful to have laundry machine.
I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a central spot to unwind after days snorkeling & scuba diving And if you go stop by the Dolphin place up the street and splurge on the activities like painting with them, it’ll be worth it.

It was a cute place to stay for a weekend getaway. It had all of the amenities & was close to pretty much everything. The only complaint I have is there was no access to a beach within walking distance. But you have 2 pools & the salt water lagoon.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Key Largo - it’s a bit off the beaten track and offered a peaceful vacation. The property is clean, well kept, comfortable, modern, quiet, and equipped with everything you might need. The lagoon is lovely - my son and I enjoyed the little beach and checking out the fish. Pools are clean. The golf cart is a nice feature - it’s not absolutely necessary but it makes moving around faster. The child size kayaks were fun - would love an adult size one in the future. We will definitely be back. I loved this place.

Sleeps 6, but boy it’s crowded! No “special” amenities or creature comforts offered, No hand towels anywhere. Just the basics. Listing said high chair, but we couldn’t fine one.

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. There were so many special touches inside. The neighborhood seems a little dated but once you are inside the unit has everything you need. The host responded quickly to any questions I had and she was very helpful.

Property is as advertised. We enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate to see a great sunset but it was nice going out on the pier. Golf cart was appreciated

We enjoyed the location! The golf cart didn’t work for our entire stay (wouldn’t charge) & the water pressure was awful. As a girl with long hair that was a HUGE bummer! Other than that we really enjoyed this place. All the neighbors are great & friendly.

I had no idea what to expect of Kawama, so I was happy that it turned out to be a low-key, family place that was perfect for us. Loved the security of it, the two pools, the many fish in the lagoon, the areas where our extended family could meet, and the convenience of the location. Diana was a great host.

Very Nice Updated Unit
This unit is updated and very nice. The jetty is excellent for sunsets, and the local seafood is amazing. This owner is VERY responsive before, during, and even after your stay. I would definitely recommend this unit and owner. Thank you Diana!

Unique Property
The lagoon is beautiful with many different colorful fish to show the kiddos. The jetty is great to watch a sunset and have a cocktail. They have a fishing pole that worked excellent as well.

Loved having the golf cart.
Overall , enjoyable experience. Slightly on the small side for 6 , but very cute condo. Resort grounds are nice and loved having the golf cart to go around on. Thank you for a nice stay.

The lagoon is great! It's sits peacefully in the middle of the complex with many different fish and iguanas that were nice to search for. The home itself was very nice, warm and welcoming. I did have issues with the hot water when turning the knob all the way up but when put in the middle, it worked perfectly. It was very clean and very well decorated. The host left a great list of things to do around the area as well as some great restaurants to check out. I personally would definitely rent from her and her beautiful family again. It was our first time in the keys and your home made us feel very welcome and we thank you for that.

We greatly appreciated the cleanliness, the updating on the inside & the golf cart! Disappointed that we could not get warm water for a shower & frustrated that there was no hot water in the kitchen to do dishes. We ran out of silver ware. We were unable to control the thermostat, so we were cold.
