About this house rental
Located in Steamboat Springs, this attractive house for $450 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. A dream vacation home in Steamboat Springs, CO less than a mile down to the base of the mountain. Work directly with the owners, Don & Montie, for personal and professional service. Our three bedroom, three bath townhouse also has a bunk room/den and a loft and easily sleeps ten in beds. Our mountain vacation home includes a fully equipped kitchen and full size washer/dryer as well as five TVs. It is ideal for large families or several couples. Everyone can enjoy privacy with each bedroom and bath on its own level. Our townhouse has been completely remodeled and recently redecorated. It has hardwood floors, new carpet, granite kitchen counters, and new appliances. The decor is warm and comfortable with leather furniture and luxury linens. It is a great place to call home while on vacation. You can eat in on the front or back porch over looking the pool while you BBQ on the gas grill. Parking / Bus / Steamboat: We have parking for 2 vehicles, but public transportation is also available to take you to the ski village or downtown and always brings you back to our door. If you want to eat out, the bus stop is just across the street and arrives every 15 minutes. Then, you are just a couple of minutes from Gondola Square. Steamboat has incredible eating, shopping and a movie theater, Strings Concert Hall, and professional rodeo. The botanic garden is a must see. Ski Rental / Ski Storage: We recommend Fleischer Sport for both ski rentals and storage. When you rent from them, they store skis/boots overnight for free. If you bring your own skis, they also offer ski/boot storage options, for a fee. Fleischers offers reasonable rates and is located in Gondola Square. https://www.fleischersport.com We also have a secured ski locker on the back patio of the townhouse. **Disclosure: We have two, outside only, static security cameras for monitoring snow removal, guest arrivals/departures, housekeeping, and wildlife. Summary: We treated our family to the Christmas Holiday in Steamboat Springs in 2000 & 2002. Those memories will last forever and are the reason we bought our own place in Steamboat in 2011. Our townhouse is so warm and relaxed we now vacation in Steamboat as often as possible. When we aren't using it, we are so happy to be able to share it with you and your family. Steamboat Springs is a great vacation location for all seasons and we are now hosting destination weddings. Just minutes to hiking fishing, biking, horseback riding, hot springs, botanic garden and many shops and restaurants.

This place was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and our place was spotless. The owner was amazing. Any questions we had he immediately got back to us. You are close to skiing. The bus stop is a few feet away. Grocery store is 5 minutes and all the shops and great places to eat are about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Don!!

This property and it's hosts are extra special!! The communication was top notch and we felt so taken care of. From the moment we booked, they made sure we had all the information that we needed. We recieved sevearl messages as our stay approached and were check on several times. The place is amazing!! Close to the slopes, comfortable, roomy, and has all the extra things you could ever need. We cooked in a wonderful kitchen, played games, enjoyed the fire, and relaxed. It really was a perfect family vacation in a fabulous place. We would stay there again anytime!!!!

This property accommodated 10 people. Six adults and four children. Everything you can possibly want/need is in the house. The pool is a hop, skip and a jump from the back porch. Highly recommend this property.

The VRBO was a great place to stay! It was quite spacious and was extremely close to the bus stop to the ski resort. The owner was great with communication and answered all my questions. Would stay again!

The property is really spacious, it's been updated, it's close enough to ski in to and just a short ride up to the mountain base area. Furnishings are nice and the different levels creates a number of different common areas. Really enjoyed our trip and would stay again.

We stayed for Presidents’ week last year and this year- top notch condo and hosts- Don and Montie very easy to contact via text or email and always helpful. That said, we had no real issues- just a fun, relaxing week in a spotless cozy condo. Very convenient location for skiing- right on the shuttle line.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The townhome was beautifully decorated with plenty of room for our group! Just a short drive to drop off the skiers in our group, the shuttle pick up was just a parking lot away as well.

This was a beautiful home with several spaces to spread out.
The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed.
The location was perfect as it was across the street from the free bus shuttle so an easy ride to the mountain and downtown.

The host was extremely helpful and called us as soon as we had we needed his help with the television. He was very good at communicating and made us feel very welcome. The VRBO had a nice layout that gave everyone ample room to spread out and Have privacy. We had 10 for dinner one night The kitchen/dining area was easy to work in. We especially enjoyed the Shady outside seating area where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening

The property is wonderfully furnished and decorated with lots of kitchen equipment for cooking. The one problem is that this place is HOT especially the upstairs master bedroom. The temps were in the low 80s in Steamboat and the upstairs was like an oven during the day even with the provided evaporative cooler which did not do much. They really need to invest in an AC unit for the top floor at least. In the cooler/cold times of year this would be no problem. Otherwise we liked the place.

The home is warm, inviting and well appointed. Our two daughters are married, each with a 2 year old, and our two sons are single. The girls brought their own Pack & Play beds for the little ones and the rooms were big enough to accommodate everything. We cooked most of our meals at the house and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the dishwasher! We were able to fit most of our dishes in one load and they came out beautifully clean.
The pool is just across the grass from the back patio. It is fenced and requires a key to enter so it is not a danger for younger kids, but the patio sits high enough that you can watch the action in the pool from the condo. I’m not sure who enjoyed it most, the big kids or the little ones! 😁
There are five levels in this home, with a bedroom on the top, middle, and bottom levels. This was a good arrangement for us, and allowed a nice privacy buffer. The two year olds loved playing on the short flight of stairs between the kitchen and the family room. The home has an open concept so even if you are in the kitchen, you can still hear - and participate in - the conversation in the family room. 😁
We had some questions about the parking setup and when I called Don, he answered immediately. We had no issues with this rental and we enjoyed our time immensely. We will stay here again and recommend it to others.

Perfect family gathering
The condo floor plan was perfect for privacy as well as social gathering. Our son and his family were very comfortable in the downstairs bunk and queen bedroom space. The kids could go to bed early and allow the adults to socialize upstairs. The weather was great so we were also able to use the outdoor space as well. The host was very responsive to all communication. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
